DH has had no more seizures. Keep your fingers crossed. He will be off work until the doctor sends in the approval notice. I hope that is soon. I love him but when he's home he gets in my way a lot!! Any body else have this problem???

Buzz is doing pretty well, I think. He's not very active even over there because he's been doing a bunch of traveling this summer. I guess summer is his busy season. He's spilled wine all over the house and Linnie thinks she has three children, but that's nothing new....

That's great to hear about your DH! Hopefully he'll be out of your hair soon!

Actually that happens to me a lot! When my DD7 was a baby, my DH took a contract job in Pittsburgh, PA. So, he was gone most of the time and would come home every other weekend. One week he was home the whole week and I was so irritated. Although it was nice to have him around, he totally screwed up my schedule. So much so that I forgot to take my birth control pills for the entire week and then worried that I was pregnant with a 10-month old! Luckily, that wasn't the case!

Glad DH is doing bettera and yes. Too much togetherness is NOT good!

Carrie,I undertand what you mean about bills.We have gotten ourselves in a mess because i have been out of work,etc.But we are selling the truck(had three offers yesterday)and we will be able to pay 95 percent of our debt off. We will have the house and utilities and a small amt of credit card debt to pay off.We haven't charged in 5 1/2 years and it is so frustating to still be paying.

This week I have been cleaning,reading, and watching Season One of Grreay's Anatomy.I am rereading the Twilight series. My older kids have been at camp all week and we pick them up at night.It has been very quiet around here. They go back to school on Wednesday.I can't believe all four of them will be in full day school...

I`m still putting bills together and calling the 800# for balances and what not...not bad! I just have to get everything down on paper now. I cant find a calculator!! so I`m using the one on the cell phone...ugg..

Hey Ed! Do you have Excel on your computer? You could create a spreadsheet with all your balances, etc. instead of using pen and paper.... and you can add them up there too.
Plus, there's a calculator built into Windows. Just go to the "Start" button, click on run and type "calc" in the box.

Wow, busy afternoon.

Visited my friend - they are just putting the finishing touches on a newly built house. It's gorgeous and now I'm jealous.

I have mostly packed up for the weekend - I'm not taking everything since we're coming back through here, woohoo - and now I need to "run to town" (which around here means a 30-40 minute drive) to find the Target so that I can get my prescription renewed, which I knew I needed to talk to the guy about in NH but forgot.

Boy, was that a run-on sentence. Sorry, V.

They "auto-filled" it for me at home, so I then had to call and tell them I WON'T be picking it up, etc., etc. Sigh. Duh.

Woody seems to be a little in love with my friend's mom, who is also my mom's best friend, if you follow. He was crying because we dropped her at her house instead of bringing her here to my mom's. So she may come in later for wine and cheese. He wrote her a note that says "I love you." I don't get these notes...

I'm swamped with work again today and still need to catch up on some TRs. I'll try to get back later, though!

At least YOU know what day it is. I did not.

I've got my first PTO board meeting of the year tonight. I can't believe that school starts in just a bit more than a week! We find out teacher assignments on Monday and then on Thursday we have our ice cream social where the kids get to visit their classrooms and meet their teachers. Then, next Monday, we head off to the bus for the first day of school!

Wow, that is early! When you do you get out? We don't start until the day after Labor Day and we get out the 1st week in June.

Got subway for the kids and I. That's my way of "buttering" them up to help me clean the entire basement!!!

The kids got haircuts this AM and we went Office Max (just across the parking lot) and picked up some of the 1 cent BTS items. We then had lunch with daddy to a yummo place that had the best sandwhiches and soup. BUT the kids misbehaved , TINK kept running around as we were in line to get our food. I had to keep grabbing her and holding her next to me so she didn't cut people off and make them spill their soup! That child is faster than a speeding bullet!

After we hit the grocery store and I about had it with the bickering of my children and tried to GIVE THEM AWAY to another mother in the baking aisle.



She didn't want them...

Carrie: I have the exact same problem. Bob gets so mad that we HAVE the money to pay things but I just hate doing it so I put it off! Being broke stinks and we are right now. It always takes me at least 3 months to climb back out of the "vacation hole."

Well, the boys were AMAZINGLY good today! After we had Subway, we grabbed a ton of cleaning cloths, the vacuum, the windex and some trash bags. We dusted every room (the office was AWFUL!!!) vacuumed each room, cleaned all our "little kid" books out of the bookcase, went through our videos and reorganized the closets. It's so clean down there, I WANT to be there. Even the laundry room got cleaned!!! I am so proud of them! They never complained and they helped me the whole time instead of starting to help and then bailing out on me...

As a reward we are going to see the new Batman on Sunday in IMAX!!! They are pretty geeked over that.

Thanks for all the well wishes on the Dr's tomorrow. I hope it's good news!
I don't go until around 1pm, so I'll check in later tomorrow and let you guys know.

Right now I'm going to do some laundry. Bob is home but he's still working so I'm bored. I might bake some low fat blueberry muffins later. I have a craving....
