Ollie is teething, got 3 big ones coming and my sister just gives him organic, homeopahic teething granules, he needs some Calpol (medicine pain killer) for goodness sakes

I have a lot of friends who do use those and SWEAR by them. I uses a lot of organics, but few are homeopathic. Since they are so unregulated here, you are not going to know what you're getting.

Oh and David thinks I'm having an affair!!!! (Thought I'd just leave it like that )

That is just not allowed! You can't leave us hanging like this.

DS15 called me again last night (about midnight) to tell me he was having a panic attack at that SAME friends! What is going on with that kid???!!!

[I'm going to have the kids clean out all there stupid papers, games and toys from my car today so it's ready to trade.

Isn't it nice when the kids get old enough to start helping clean up after themselves!

I"m at Tera's house sitting with Kaia. Her fever is down...so that's good!

I could not get to sleep last night...so I'm running on fumes. I finally crashed out about 3:30 and got up at 6. Yay for me.

Kaia is on the up! Poor thing. Say hi to Tera from all of us! Does Kaia still nap = you could nap??

I stated packing the suitcases last night to leave this moning... when we got a call from the desk... Well a message anyway... basically if we want to extend our vacation one more day... our room rate will be.. $59.00

So.... guess who IS LEAVING TOMORROW

Great rate! Sounds like a plus to hang out some more! There is a line of thunderstorms coming through here, I would imagine it is heading your way...so good to stay of the roads!

They are paying all medical bills, including what is being paid by insurance...and are giving him emotional compensatory damages. It's going to his college fund...although I'm going to let him keep some money and get a Wii.

Nothing, really. I went to my Post-op appt. I can swim, bathe and trampoline now. If I didn't have a little bladder infection, that is. Poor K...
K's buying me a Dodge Durango (2007, grey) today, it seems. We're refinanced our house too- cut off 8 years and $100 a month. Mom's surgery was postponed to next Thursday... I think that's it.

Go have fun and stop worrying about us! We'll be here when you get home!

Rachel - DS is in speach therapy and she was able to get her mom moved to AS MOvies for their trip

Jodi and Dawn are planning trips to Philly so I can be their tour guides

Mo - May have to go to New Mexico for work so Jen2 is going to stalk her.

We all missed Lessa's birthday becasue Jo is on vacation and didn't remind us!

Lessa - Good luck with the job search. When I lived in DC I temped at a few agnecies and enjoyed it. I have my degree in accounting and by temping at a few places it helped me decided did I really want to do this for the rest of my life?

Not much planned for us today. Linds had cheering camp this morning and they did a little cheer presentation thing. (If I knew how to download video from the camcorder to the computer I would post a few clips but I did get a few pics though...I'll have to post them later). But my girl is the shyest little thing in town! But I'm proud of her for getting up there even though she was nervous.

Basically laundry and cleaning are what I have in store for me today. They are having a Fireman's Festival down the street from us and I think that parade is tonight so we might go to that. If not we'll go tomorrow when they have it.

Well mom "gave" me my present yesterday but everybody else is waiting until Sunday. She got me two more of the Disney Precious Moments figurines.
I do not forsee drywall in my future but who knows Alek is a wildcard when it comes to gift giving, you just never know what kind of crazy thing he will have come up with.

So anybody got some spare Xanax for me? I have been feeling so anxious/stressed lately. I wake up fine and then it just sort of builds up through the day until it is time to sleep and I can't because my mind is racing. It is this whole job/career uncertainty thing, it is killing me. I know I want to try and get into nursing but I won't know if I got into the program until nest Spring! Until then I am sorta just biding my time. I wish I could find a decent job with just my English degree but it is proving very difficult! Nobody wants you unless you have experience but I can't get any experience because nobody will hire me! Sure I have a job now but it doesn't pay much, certainly not something I can depend on forever. I really hope the nursing things pans out or I will have wasted yet another year of my life, I'm not getting any younger!

How did you all break into the workforce after getting your degree? There has to be some sort of trick to it.

So are you feeling any better about it yet Lessa? Don't stress too much, worry about the vacation for now. LOL. AT least it's a distraction. You are way too young to stress this hard!!!

Butthead is still sleeping...um 13 hours already.... thing is I know when he wakes up he will be over it, thats how he is and it bugs me to no end! I was never really mad just hurt that the convo turned ugly. We never really "fight" just "discuss somewhat heatedly"...besides he's hispanic and loud is what they do and it has rubbed off on me. But we will have to talk about it some time.

Today not much going on. A friend is stopping by to have KC look at his lap top and KC is cooking dinner (crazy I know, here's hopin).

Tomorrow is the Breaking Dawn Concert and we are going to head to a midnight release party for the book and see if we can get a copy! If not I may go to my local bookstore or actually wait for my barnes and noble order.

Anyways hope you're Thursday is going great everyone! I'm off for muffins.
