I'm so lost (like always)... All those reasons except the money sound like reasons to not go, but you said it's ON. :confused3

That's me Dawn.. Scott STILL wants to go. And I kind of do.. what's the worse.. I get to sit Poolside while they go run in the Park ??:beach:
That is IF IT DOES NOT RAIN...

V.. what kind of forecast do we have for the next week... BESIDES HOT ??:faint:

I say do it. :confused3 You need a do-over...so the memories are good.

AWWWW:hug: With all that you a going through and dealing with ... you need SOME KIND OF DO-OVER YOURSELF:hug:

OK first I so meant to send you a PM, sorry  And it's back on????? Is your back better then???

Back is some better... IF I can take it easy today.. I just may be O.K.
Sara's ankle is mostly a twist.. not swollen.. so by Sunday when we get to Disney she'll be fine..

Hi CE.. Feeling LOST ??:guilty:
Thanks for the Hug... Things are doing a little better here.
BUSY BUSY DAY.. I have not packed the first thing.. and with a funeral and a Birthday to celebrate.. I MAYBE UP ALL NIGHT.

Wow, that's a lot of information to process. I'm just glad you haven't mentioned it to the kids and can decide whether or not to go as often as you like. ;)

This is true... Can always JUST GO TO GRANDPA'S and then come back home.
BTW we do not plan to tell them till Sunday... We are going to get them up and say "HEY.....ANYBODY HERE WANT TO GO TO DISNEWORLD... TODAY ????":dance3: pixiedust: :jumping1: party: :car: :car: :car: :car:

Embarrassing Moment!!!!
Wednesday before I had to go to work, I decided to stop by my favorite 'low-rent' store, Walmart. I had to use the potty. I proceeded to walk right into the MEN'S restroom. When I came around that corner, I looked up and my brain slowly interpreted what my eyes were seeing. URINALS - UGH! Luckily for me there was only one man in there and he had a good sense of humor and his pants up!:rolleyes1 He looked at me and said, 'Should I scream or are you going to?':lmao: I put both hands on my face like Caulkin in 'Home Alone', only I didn't scream. Here's the kicker! In my defense, when I was walking to the potties, I saw a "man" come out of the ladies room. That's why I went to the other side. Obviously this person was named 'Pat'. I couldn't find them later to ask. Lessons of the story - don't judge a book by it's cover and the Men's room was actually very clean.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh so sorry BUT ... THAT IS FUNNY :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh and I wanted to say the strawberry rhubarb crisp sounds sooooooo good! Brings me back to my childhood when my grandparents lived on a farm and grew rhubarb. Almost every time we'd go out there in the summer my grandmother would have a pie or crisp made. Yummy!
It's delish! I'll send the recipe if you want it...

Hey, guys, read this page only, so someone PM me if I'm missing something big. :thumbsup2

Mel? :rotfl: Sorry, but how you go somewhere with one kid and wind up with 4 makes me laugh. :goodvibes
It's just again that she has a ton of other family in town, and it makes me uncomfortable to be so "preferred" because I think of how the others must feel.
HI CE! Yeah, I have a habit of collecting small boys when I leave the house.....
I totally understand what you're saying about the IL's. I hated going back to MA to visit with the kids. Everyone had "THEIR" idea of where we should be and who we should be with. It got VERY annoying to hear things like, "Well, I told Emma you'd be over. I can't imagine that Bob would leave town without seeing her!" OK, maybe you should ASK him!!!???
Argh. I'm irritated for you. Have fun in WI though, and we're looking forward to FF, right??!!

:lmao: Well, Mel. I don't like her. :rotfl:

It better be. Because I can't keep hangin out here like a losah!

My interview's tomorrow at 11:30. Keep ya' fingahs crawsed!

Ok, now we're getting somewhere!!! :lmao:
What are you saying? We're not Losah's!!!
Of course, all my fingers are crossed. At the same time!

He looked at me and said, 'Should I scream or are you going to?':lmao: I put both hands on my face like Caulkin in 'Home Alone', only I didn't scream. Here's the kicker! OMG Kristel! Too funny! :lmao:

OMG, Mel, you just described our trip north of a few weeks ago! I haven't figured out how to clone myself yet and until I do, the push-pull-be here-be there-stress of it all it too much.

TE was this you, I lost track of the dogs on here. When my Min. Pin. had a fetish for the underside drawer on my walnut coffee table, I mixed some cayenne pepper with some canola oil and rubbed that on it. Let's just say he's not a chihuahua and didn't care for the heat. The only problem is it will stain anything that is light in color. They do have sour apple sprays you can use. I've heard mixed reviews on how well they work.

yep---that was me with the pup. I had sprayed Bitter apple all over it---which he hates, but it evaporates too quickly. Maybe I'll try the hot sauce---I did that for my horse who chewed wood.......and then the other horse came up and licked it all off! :sad2:

______________
hysterical restroom story! My MIL and another woman did that at IHOP........and she ARGUED with the man in the stall that he was in the wrong place! :lmao:

+++++++++++++
CE---hang in there. The end's in sight..........and I know what you mean about stressful. I often feel like I've been thru a mental battle.

gotta get ready and take the pup to the vet then get Ab's x-rays.

Hi all! lazydoxy - loved the embarrasing moment story.

Is everyone getting ready for their great Focker Fest?

I've been trying to keep my kids entertained all summer. We've been going to the pool a lot and to the movies.

We went to Six Flags twice. Funny thing about Six Flags - the characters there are not as popular as they are at Disney. No lines to see them. The first time we went, Tweety Bird looked like he needed a bath. The second time we went, Tweety was clean, but Bugs Bunny looked like he needed a bath.
In the Gotham City area, they have the superheros - no line. So dh took Baby Girl to meet the superheros while Hamboy and I rode a rollercoaster. I think dh wanted to get a pic with Wonder Woman. Anyway - Batman talked to BabyGirl and she hugged him. He introduced her to his friend Robin and she hugged him. She also hugged Flash. Wonder Woman came up to her and Baby Girl threw her a dirty look and turned her head away.:rotfl2: Three years old and she's already telling me, "I only like boys."

Thanks, guys. :goodvibes She's really so generous and loving, for the most part - there's just this little side of nuts. :rotfl2:

She's pretty reasonable until it comes to us actually wanting to see someone else whilst we're here. For a week. In her house. ;) Then the other issue of "I don't want Becky (her step-daughter, aged 53) for dinner, I just want YOU." Becky is in from VA, and she's just as important as us, and we've been here ALL week. :headache:

Kate, sorry you had to deal with that, too!

OK, I need to pack up for WI. I am only coming back through here to drop off D and pick up the dog, so I need to pack everything for moving on to my parents.

See you all from WI!

Errrr of course :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: BTW we won't be going next August, but..................... David said today about going August 2010 :yay:
I feel certain he will surprise you with an August 2009 trip:thumbsup2

The doctor said the rash was infected. She gave us some meds and wants Nana to come back on Monday. She also did not seem to convinced it will be cleared up by the time we go to WDW and Nana has her first set of Senior pictures taken :scared1:.
Poor thing!
What am I missing? GIRLS WEEKEND?????? ME ME ME ME ME! I don't bite, can I come????? It's not in AUGUST is it? Death-gust hot-gust?
Girl's weekend? MAN! I've missed a lot.
Am I invited? Where, who, what?
I feel like calling my mother an apologizing for being a brat when I was 15.
I feel certain if I called my mom to apologize, I would still get a lecture about those days.

whilst I took BA to the hairdresser, the pup chewed hunks out of my new coffee table AND chewed the cord off my iron. Ab was supposed to be watching him but fell asleep. I'm really ticked-------and I'm NOT getting enough of an apology to suit me.
Our dog did this when she was a pup. She's an old gal now, but anyway - she ate our sofa - yes, I'm serious. She took the cushions off and chewed up the inside part where the cushions sat. She also chewed up a lamp cord. The vet told me I needed to crate her or she would burn our place down. So we ended up crating her when we were not home, until she got out of that stage.

Thought I'd show ya'll where I'm living now.

We went down to Old Town Albuquerque and walked around.

Is there more than one Old Town? I went to Old Town when I was younger. My grandparents lived in El Paso and they took us.
How is meeska?

V - congrats on the weight loss.

Parla - love your zoo pics.

Looked nice to me?? Are there a lot of those types of towns out there??:confused3

Ummmm...sort of. Most major towns here have an Old Town. But the best one is up in Santa Fe. Gorgeous!!!

What are you saying? We're not Losah's!!!

OMGosh! That's not what I meant! :headache:

I meant...hanging out here at my motha's...umemployed and homeless...and arguing with her all day long!!! :lmao:

Is there more than one Old Town? I went to Old Town when I was younger. My grandparents lived in El Paso and they took us.
How is meeska?

You probably went to the one in Las Cruces. I'm guessing.

Meeska is okay. She's hangin' in there. With all that she has going on...some days I'm surprised she's standing. But, she's strong!!! Like Ox.

CE - :wave2: Glad to hear you ae having a semi-good time and getting to see old friends again. Have fun in WI!

Jen - Good Luck today!!!!

Kristal - :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: on the bathroom story

Janet - :wave2:

:wave2: Good Morning to all other Focker's and sorry if I left a few out.

Nothing much planned for me today. I need to clean the toy room up and am just going to rest and relax today. :surfweb:

gotta get ready and take the pup to the vet then get Ab's x-rays.

Hope you get answers about Ab.:thumbsup2

:wave2: Missed seeing you around

:rotfl2: We were thinking about taking Jimmy to Six Flags here since he loves all the Superheroes, but looking at the website there is not enough there for him to do yet to justify the $$.

OK, I need to pack up for WI. I am only coming back through here to drop off D and pick up the dog, so I need to pack everything for moving on to my parents.

See you all from WI!

Have a safe trip:goodvibes

Welcome to my world. It's not that I think it's unfair...it's that I feel she is taking advantage...KWIM? Because she knows I don't have a choice until we find a house.
I can't believe your mom gave your friends a chore list. And yes - it is too many chores for Jon. I'm glad you talked to her - even if she is clueless about the situation.................

We've been busy. Went to the zoo Tuesday afternoon and then out for fabulous Indian food.

Yesterday was a relaxed morning and the late afternoon evening with college friends who live in Chicago, the city, but in a northwestern neighborhoody area. They have a one-year-old girl who is a DOLL.

Today we went to the beach on Lake Michigan with D's oldest friend's wife and 3 kids - their DD is just 3 months older than the boys and the boys talk about her all the time, even though we'd not seen her for a year and a half. :lovestruc

Then I went downtown to Millenium Park and had dinner with 3 of my college roomies. :goodvibes I like them. And it was a chance to escape the IL's house.

I KNOW it could be worse, but she makes me tense and unhappy, so... No, she's not completely insane, like some MIL's of people I know. She certainly loves the kids. It is just exhausting. Sigh.

Well - it sounds like you are having a really good time, except for some of the IL stuff.

T - I love the botox photo. I want to see some real ones.

My sister is going to school to be an esthetician. My other sister just learned how to thread on eyelash extensions. She is also going to go to school to learn how to do permanent makeup. She is going to start her own business with a friend. She is a nurse and will do both.

I don't live near them, so I probably won't get any benefits. I would love to get some laser hair removal, though. My sis told me she could do it, but you are supposed to get it done every 4-6 weeks and I don't see them that often.

:wave2: Missed seeing you around
Thanks!

We were actually surprised at how much Baby Girl could do. She had a lot of fun. They also have a waterpark area at this one. It has 6 slides, 3 of them are for smaller kids, and it has a lot of water fountains for the kids to splash and play in.

The first time we went, dh's company paid for everyone to go and bought us all lunch. While we were there, Six Flags was offering 6 more visits for $10, so we bought it. We are talking about going back to only do the smaller kids rides and the water park.

Janet- The Six Flags here in SA has plenty to do for the $. They have lots of kiddie rides and shows. We also spend a lot of time at the swimpark area. Maybe the one there is the same. :confused3

Katt- Can you get an ECV? :confused3 I would try that. :thumbsup2

O.K.... I'm OLD.. BUT NOT THAT OLD
Don't start diggin my grave now !!!
digginsmile1.gif

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm moving pretty good today... Now the Drive to Dad's will be the real test...
wish I could take Scott's car.. "Heated Seats" :cloud9:

Do any of the vans have heated seats... ??:confused3
