Team Focker Watch Chat - Good Grief We Talk A Lot! Part 5

I've got the opposite thing going - Gramma loads up on junk (cookies, cakes, chips, etc.) and if junk is in the house, I eat it. :sad2: I had no problem maintaining my weight until SHE moved in. She's no longer allowed to keep the junk in the kitchen. I'm guessing she has a closet full of Oreos in her room, but so long as they're out of my sight, it's all good! :rotfl:

Yup...the thing is...I cook healthy. Brown rice...whole grains...lots of chicken breast. But, she eats instead of starving herself. :headache:

Okay, it's official - we really ARE twins! Only Gramma doesn't have anyone else do her cleaning - she just lives with it. :scared: It's gotten so I won't use the hall bathroom anymore (that she and Leo share, though Leo showers in my bathroom) because she hasn't cleaned it in MONTHS! And her room? OMG, you literally can't see the floor - papers and piles everywhere. She's been like this as long as I can remember.

Ewwww. My OCD would run rampant. :lmao:

Oh Jen, I wish I did! :hug: I feel rather like I'm walking a tightrope these days - one minute we're talking and friendly, the next Gramma's criticizing something I've done. It's hard, but I've found I can tolerate the situation better if I just do stuff on my own without telling her about it. See my post today on the FockerFest thread for evidence of that. :rolleyes:

Yup, I saw that. That's us. We're friendly and then we're at each other's throats. I don't know how you do this day in and day out. I'm dreading the days...anything longer than that and I'll go crazy. And she wants to come everywhere we come. :eek: How do you say no???

Well I've got loads done, I saved $140 on my car insurance by doing a search and then phoning my insurers, I've bought AA (AAA) cover for my car and only had to pay $30 thanks to a great money saving website, I've booked the cab to the airport and back, been to the grocery store to buy David his meal for 1 for when I'm away :rotfl2: We're emptying the girls pool as I type and then I'm off to pick Jess up from school and go shopping (she needs a new school skirt) as they have vouchers to spend then it's straight to Choir where they're rehersing for their concert, I still haven't packed anything for Dad's yet though :rotfl2:

This sounds like my day. A bunch of things that I needed to do but none really seem all that important.:rolleyes:

OK, my MIL woke me up out of a sound sleep at 8 am. Why does she call so early!? ARGH.
My eye is red, and scratchy but it's healing I think. My restrictions are for 2 weeks though, so the kids will be helping with housework and they're not happy about it! Fortunately, that doesn't matter..... :rotfl:

Hope you feel better soon. :hug:

I hope everyone is having a good morning. It's cold out here, but I love the cool weather! I'm sure all over MI right now people are saying things like, Why is it so cold!? Wish it would warm up! NOT ME....I opened all the windows wide! Love the cool weather...hate the hot. :confused3

I'm going to make some breakfast now!

Bragger! :rolleyes:

I always knew I was a neat freak but recently I've been twitchy if the dish towels aren't straight. Remember that Julia Roberts movie where she pretends to drown because her husband is abusive? That seen of him with the bath towels? I have a problem. :sad2:

Good Morning Dudettes! :wave:

The next interview is on Friday. My house is one the market. And yes, I gave notice.
Good for you, G-luv. :thumbsup2

V---any advice???
My advice, yeah I know I'm not V. ;) Stop cleaning RIGHT NOW! Only pick up your own mess. Sooner or later her mess is going to get to her. That's what I did. We just started separating everything. Cleaning, cooking, shopping, etc. TE soon realized we were doing her and Waldo's share and it was corrected. :thumbsup2

You sure you wanna quit T? Will they let you go back occasionally for our entertainment???
I know! I am thinking of becoming a client of the esthetician though. She gave me a partial silk peel on my lower face and my skin looks incredible. My TE noticed my skin today and asked "Are you sure you want to leave that place? Your skin looks so great!". I do get amazing products - so that's on the PRO's list. :rolleyes1
It looks very mexican, not what I pictured!
Sorry Jo - but that made me :rotfl2:

Yup! We're going with the Ducks to celebrate DNephs HS Graduation. We were going to do a 4 day cruise and then 10 days at WDW, but decided to scrap the cruise and just do 14 days in late August. :teeth: See you there! ;)

Tomorrow at the beach near Dad's they're having a big airshow, they have it every year (one year we were there a Harrier Jet crashed into the sea in front of us the pilot was fine though!) it's normally quiet good and the Red Arrows always perform which is good! Hopefully we'll get there in time!
I have never been to an airshow. I'm skerred! :scared:
hey fockers!!!! i'm at work, just caught up reading and now there is work to do.
HI Rach! :goodvibes
This is what you get to do at work? I've never had a job that fun!
Oh. My. Gawd. Angela! Please don't tell me you think that pic is me? :lmao:
Morning all off to work in a few!!
Morning Rosie! :goodvibes
:Again, botulism in the face? I don't get it. I think I'll take my wrinkles.
Yeah, no kidding. Although I am quite interested in the Restalyn. Similar to collagen, but lasts longer. I'd like to plumpen my lips like Angies NOT Lisa Rinna. :scared:
You are going to be the talk of the church at services on Sunday:lmao:
I was going to say that! :rotfl2:

Guys too!:confused3
Uh huh. But these were "ordinary" guys. They were the metrosexual type. You know with their man-bags, mandals, and man-pris. Oh and don't forget they were all manscaped. :rolleyes1
BTW, have you given your notice yet?
Wellllll... not exactly. :rolleyes:

I still haven't packed anything for Dad's yet though
I'm going to let that slide... only because it's not a Disney vacation. ;)
My eye is red, and scratchy but it's healing I think. My restrictions are for 2 weeks though, so the kids will be helping with housework and they're not happy about it! Fortunately, that doesn't matter.....
Glad to hear you're on the mend. :goodvibes
I love you Jo. Ummm, I do live in NEW Mexico. Just sayin'. We share a border with Mexico. We were originally part of Mexico...you wouldn't know that though. I forgive you since you are from across the pond. :lmao: But, not the whole town looks like that. There are "non-mexican" buildings here too!
:rotfl2:

Oh crap - we've only got a year off and then we're back to August again?!
::yes::

I'm with you - too skeery for me! I'll stick to creams, thanks.
What type do you use, V?

Good for you, G-luv. :thumbsup2

Thanks T!

Cleaning, cooking, shopping, etc. TE soon realized we were doing her and Waldo's share and it was corrected. :thumbsup2

You're so smart T. I just let her get to me...

We actually just had a conversation about how this isn't going to work. apparently, she thinks things are fine. :rolleyes: I, on the other hand, told her she needed to back off. I am no longer a child...and just because I am her child...does not mean she gets to treat me with disrespect.

I know! I am thinking of becoming a client of the esthetician though. She gave me a partial silk peel on my lower face and my skin looks incredible. It's just so dang funny. :lmao: I'm going to miss the stories.

:lmao:

:eek: I'm so glad to be home!!!!! I took B to her ortho. appt and then we went to the haircut place 15 mins away. It wasn't raining in our town, just cloudy, but after 5mins it started raining so hard and was so dark I banned all talking in the car so I could concentrate. I was freaked out. Then the radio breaks in to say there's a tornado warning in our county! :scared1: We weren't in our county, so I think that helped the kids from bring really scared.

It was only sprinkling when we got home, but it just suddenly got dark and let loose here! I want the rain and I'm happy to stay inside the rest of the day. The kids were asking if they could bathe and put jammies on, so that's what we're doing today. :cloud9:

OKAY girls...who is who in the zoo pictures? hmmm? Why don't you all come here to MN...we can got to the MOA (Mall of America), I can show you a good time! Any takers? boo hoo no one likes MinneSota.

Oh, I've always wanted to go to the MOA!

But then I would be in a landlocked state, both of them! although MI has the great lakes,,too cold though...

Hey, Indiana has a big lake to the North too! ;)

And trust this...THIS Jen can't stand to be with the motha forever. This is only while house hunting. We have officially been at each other's throats 3 times today. Ya' ready for this:

1. I cook real food, not egg white omelets and lean cuisines. SO, the motha hasn't lost any weight in the past weeks. Me, on the other hand...I'm down 5 pounds from the sheer nagging of my motha.

I feel so bad for you! :hug: I couldn't do it. DH and I have both agreed that my Dad is the only parent we would allow to move in with us. Both of our mothas would have to rely on our siblings or even the state for that matter. No way would they survive under the same roof as us.

Not even if you were being chased by flesh eating Aliens? :confused3

I doubt I could outrun them. I would have to use whatever I had as a weapon. :rotfl: Seriously, my knees are so bad that if I do any kind of running or jumping I pay for it with pain for several days.

Oops... sorry. I mean big girl. :rolleyes1 ;)

I won't tell her you said baby. :laughing:

So today was Botox Party Day!! :banana: Sadly I forgot my camera but I'll do my best to create a visual.

I can't believe you forgot the camera! Does Andy like your new "natural" look? ;) I'm not sure I would be able to quit if I suddenly had skin that I liked!

I'm a bit worried about me and the motha. We are best friends...as long as we don't occupy the same space. And I feel bad saying that...because I'm so lucky to have her in my life. BUT...we don't gel. We are freakin' oil and water.

Have you looked at renting some place else? I know you don't have a job yet so maybe they wouldn't look too kindly to renting to you but I hate for you (and Jon) to be so miserable with your Motha.

My mom was the same way about being so lazy. When I was a teenager I was working close to 40 hours a week at Burger King while I was in high school just to avoid her so my siblings got stuck with most of the work. When we all moved out my Dad got stuck doing everything. She would cook some really great meals but I can't remember her ever doing the dishes. Now she talks about how clean her house was when we were growing up.:sad2:

Tomorrow at the beach near Dad's they're having a big airshow, they have it every year (one year we were there a Harrier Jet crashed into the sea in front of us :eek: the pilot was fine though!) it's normally quiet good and the Red Arrows always perform which is good! Hopefully we'll get there in time!

I :love: air shows! DS doesn't care for how loud they can get but DD (my dare devil) loved going too. She is so funny. We went to see our favorite jugglers The Dazzling Mills Family at the Fair the other night and DD was recording it (Well, she says she recorded it. It's mostly video of the sky and the Fair Queen that was watching from a balcony.) the Dad kept playing to DD's camcorder and even came at her on his unicycle like he was going to fall on her and she didn't budge. She just kept laughing at him.

I'm sitting up stairs while the kids are watching Disney cartoons..."waiting it out" whilst my DH goes in and out and in and out and in and out... of the house. His normal AM routine. He FORGETS what he is doing or needs and needs to go in and out and in and out and in and out until he is finally satified and leaves for work! Unfortunately after he does finally leave the house... he often comes back for SOMETHING he has left behind...?

DRIVES ME NUTS! :rolleyes1

This is me and my DH only opposite. Whenever we go anywhere I always have to run in the house at least twice and a lot of times forget something anyway. When we're all in the van he always asks in a very snarky way, "Are you sure you didn't forget anything?" and starts listing things I might have forgotten. Sometimes he actually says something that makes me remember and I have to run back in. :rotfl:

Heres pictures of Charley,,,thats his name for today,,we`ve been through, Sammy, Henry, Wally, Billy, :sad2:
IMG_1291.jpg

OMG...he is the cutest thing ever!!!!

We always go the last 2 weeks of August Katt. Barring major catastrophe we will be there again next year!

I'm hoping to take the kids next year at the end of August. We'll see though and how I do come this December when I do the trip by myself with them.

It's just cloudy and a bit windy. It's supposed to hit land about 4. We're supposed to see rain all early evening and all tomorrow.

The state's already declared 14 counties a disaster area. They expect about 15 inches which they expect the levees can't handle that.

Oh my Dawn! Hope y'all were able to stay safe and are still safe today!

Applesauce Muffins
Parents Mag Jan 96' ---only makes about 10 so I double this!!!

Thanks so much for this! They sound yummy!

Well back from the doctor and will be heading out for Bugs swim lessons soon. The doctor said the rash was infected. She gave us some meds and wants Nana to come back on Monday. She also did not seem to convinced it will be cleared up by the time we go to WDW and Nana has her first set of Senior pictures taken.

:eek: Oh no!!! I hope she starts feeling better really really soon!!!

SD's in a foul mood and I don't feel like dealing with his 15 year old attitude right now.
I feel like calling my mother an apologizing for being a brat when I was 15. I must have been one, as I can't think of a single 15 yr old who isn't! Mine are good kids, don't get in trouble and don't fight. BUT, they are way too open with their "preferences." I'm not sure what I said or did that gave them the idea that I care if they "DON'T want TO do SOMETHING."
MEL:banana:

Dude...Jon is hitting prenager. He has turned 12...and suddenly he has an opinion on everything.

The other day...his attitude was foul. FOUL!

He kept on and kept on...and he finally said something (I don't even remember what now) and I said:

"Jon, I don't care. Now hush."

He pops back with:

"You don't care about anything."

He is beginning to answer back...

I give him the mean look and right now...he'll pop back in line. But oh my goodness...he needs to just shut his trap sometimes.

OMG...you guys are scareing me!!! I sooooo don't want my babies to hit preteen/teenage years now!!!! :eek:

I think I've driven over that bridge! When DH and I lived in VA, we made the drive back to Indiana often to visit family. I thought it was awesome to cross so many state lines so quickly. Unfortunately, Ohio took forever....

So, Carla and I had a great time at the zoo today. I don't have my pics uploaded yet, but I will post a few tonight. My DD4 and Carla's DS9 became good friends. They were holding hands half the afternoon. :goodvibes

Yes...OH seems to take FOREVER to drive through. Soon to be ex lived in WI and while we were trying to make things work between us I would make that drive quite a few times. I swear it took longer to drive through OH than it did to drive through IN, IL and then into WI.

And awwwwww...on the holding hand part.

Wow--Southlake was very close and Carroll is a good school district. We liked the Keller area but would have moved out a bit for more land if we had stayed. After that we moved to Charlotte (Ct prior to that). Actually had a job offer in Wheeling sometime in all that but turned it down. I did learn it's about 5 hours from here! :thumbsup2

.....and I hope to not move again either. BA had 4 elementary schools by the 4th grade......but she's very outgoing and adept at making new friends so I guess no longterm damage.

=++++++

whilst I took BA to the hairdresser, the pup chewed hunks out of my new coffee table AND chewed the cord off my iron. :mad: Ab was supposed to be watching him but fell asleep. I'm really ticked-------and I'm NOT getting enough of an apology to suit me.

Yeah, we really liked Southlake. Heck, I really liked TX. And yep...VA is about 5 hours from here no matter if your going down through WV and into the western part of the state or going through MD and heading towards the eastern part. I know we would drive from DC to home all the time and it was about 5 hours. Gotta love those mountains though!

And I sooooooo know what you mean with the schools. Luckily we didn't have any kids while we did all the moving and if we did they were young. But soon to be ex moved around a lot when he was younger (his mother was nuts and just liked picking up and moving about every 6 months) and he did fine. Especially with his social skills.

And sorry to hear about the pup. :headache: We have a black lab and I can remember her being a puppy and chewing up EVERYTHING! Drove my mom and dad crazy because she chewed on an antique coffee table legs and then an antique chair. She's 10 now and still likes to pick things up off the floor and chew on them. The kids left a few game pieces sitting out on the floor and she got to them and had them chewed to shreds.

Thought I'd show ya'll where I'm living now.

We went down to Old Town Albuquerque and walked around.

It looks so pretty and nice!

Our day at the Indianapolis Zoo with ncsjodi...

The whole gang.

Looks like such a great day!!!

OKAY girls...who is who in the zoo pictures? hmmm? Why don't you all come here to MN...we can got to the MOA (Mall of America), I can show you a good time! Any takers? boo hoo no one likes MinneSota.

If I ever have to take the kids up to see soon to be ex I'll be sure to stop by and say hi. I was up there this past spring and stopped by the MOA...:eek: HUGE!!! A shoppers paradise if you ask me. LOL

My mom is giving me for graduation a plane ticket for me to take a long weekend trip. This won't be until at least next summer since she wants to make sure I actually graduate this time :lmao:. Yes I have been know to change majors a few times.

WooHoo!!! That is awesome!!!!

My girls pose with the giraffes after feeding them a treat. Would you look at that tongue???!!!!???

Awww...your girls are adorable!!!

I GOT BOTOXED!!! WANNA SEE????

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

NOT!!!

:scared1: Don't scare me like that!!!!!

Grampa in enroute home as I type. Spoke with my Auntie today and she wants me to come tomorrow to the house. I hope Gramps gets his rest soon.

So today was Botox Party Day!! :banana: Sadly I forgot my camera but I'll do my best to create a visual.

The office doors opened at 9am and they started stampeding in for their fix. All the Orange County wives and some dudes showed up.

So glad to hear you Grampa is on his way home! :hug:

And :scared1: of the party. LOL You had me laughing with the 'au natural' lady. And are we talking just general OC housewives or like the OC Housewives from TV??? And I'm sorry for sounding stupid but where the heck is OC? I thought it was north of LA but I'm guessing I'm wrong and it's south of LA...more between San Diego & LA?

Thanks for the advice, friends! I read each one and took Jen's advice of not to go back! :lmao: Well, actually, we decided to take her to see her pediatrician who we really like. She wants to see the x-ray and have a radioglogist read it, then she will coordinate care with the chiro. I thought that was reasonable and they said I could get her x-ray this afternoon if I wanted.

Aww!! That's my kinda day! :cloud9:

All housewives in OC are just like the TV show. Some worse than others, but for the most part that's exactly how they are. :sad2:
You're exactly right from north to south it's LA County, Orange County (OC), then San Diego County. The chicks from the Real Housewives show all live in Coto de Caza - an EXTREMELY ritzy area. :snooty: It's more than a gated community, it's more like a gated city. Creepy.

Do you mean to tell me that the chiropractor didn't take x-rays before he adjusted her? Wow.... my guy takes x-rays all the time....:confused3

Yeah...that would be odd. I know I've heard them talk before on the shows about how people live 'just outside the gates' and wondered if it was an entire gated town or just neighborhood.

And I just skimmed through the last few pages and Jen, I wanted to give you a few of these :hug: :hug: :hug:

I live with my dad and even though it's nothing like your situation I know how you feel. For as much as I loved my mom we could never live together.

And Dawn...hope you guys stay safe!!!! :hug:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just finished up on a load of laundry and putting the dishes away. I'm about to hop in the shower and get ready to go out with my best friend tonight. we're going to 'The Downs' (it's a local casino and dog track) to watch some kind of Wheeling Idol. LOL Her dad is coming with us so we won't have to pay for a thing all night. :cool1:
With the kiddos being gone my house is soooooo quiet!!! Even the dogs don't make a sound because they are all asleep under my feet.
I've got to talk with the kids each day though and see how they are doing. They are having a good time but not doing much. Basically swimming at the hotel pool and that's about it. 2 weeks with 2 kids in a hotel room the size of a moderate room does not sound like my cup of tea. But hey, the ex made his descision.
And this is so sad and kind of made me mad at the same time. The soon to be ex brought his fiance' along with him on this trip. They were supposed to be sleeping in seperate rooms but when the ex checked into the hotel he got a 1 room suite (basically like a studio). I let him have it his way because he did try correcting the mistake by going to another hotel but couldn't find anything that he could afford or that was available in his price range.
So, last night when I was talking with Lindsey she said something like how daddy was sleeping in the same bed with the finace'. I didn't say much about it and just let it go because I didn't want to upset her. So, after I got off the phone with her the soon to be ex gets on and had to clairfy his statement and was like 'I was not sleeping in the same bed as A. Lindsey saw the extra pillow there and that's why she said it.' And as I told him on the phone thank you for clairifying your statement to me but 1)this is why you and A should have been in seperate rooms to begin with and 2)I hope you are now realizing that our kids are 5 and 3 and don't quite get the concept of, as Lindsey puts it, mommy and daddy being 'unmarried.' With that he hung the phone up on me. :headache:
Oh well...reality will be hitting them hard having to spend two weeks with the kids and then when they get done with their little month long vacation and have to go back to living in the real world. :rolleyes: Can I just LMAO when that happens and throw it back in his face? Or would that be too immature???
Well I'm off to enjoy my night out on the town. Wish me luck...maybe I'll win some money. :)
Oh Dawn, I am glad you got home okay. Is is all clear now?
TE- I am glad they were able to find a plan of attach for your daughter that you feel comfortable with. Poor thing! BTW, is the pain any better today?
Thats it Girls! We have enough of you who want to shop at the MOA. We can have a GIRLS WEEKEND! Janet the Mall of America DOES have a QVC store! :thumbsup2 So did you all know that we also DO NOT HAVE TAX on clothing. Nope! None! The tax our property up the ying-yang instead!
G-LUV JEN JEN-
Motha was thinking it was all Kosher between you and her, or what? :confused3 Did she enforce such child labor onto you when you where a kiddo? BTW- I am proud of you for teaching Jon how to exist on his own. DRIVES ME BATTY to watch parents NOT parent their children and teach them how to care for themselves. Batty!:headache:
Do you mean to tell me that the chiropractor didn't take x-rays before he adjusted her? Wow.... my guy takes x-rays all the time....:confused3
yes he took them---her pedi wants a radiologist to have a second look just to be sure there's no tiny fractures before she continues with chiro. I thought that was ok.
Oh Dawn, I am glad you got home okay. Is is all clear now?
TE- I am glad they were able to find a plan of attach for your daughter that you feel comfortable with. Poor thing! BTW, is the pain any better today?
she says she is at a 5 now......10 last nite. We are doing yoga which she says helps too.
++++++++++
Jen---can u send Jon over.....I need the dishwasher emptied and the horses moved to the other pasture. :lmao: ;)
(I had each girl come up with a chore list for summer last week, and it is working out much better than me leaving notes). I was tired of coming home from work and nothing done......course they're used to me not working and doing most everything.
Lori- Does your soon to be EX live in MN?
Where exactly are they on their vacation?
Do you really believe that he tried to get separate rooms? I wouldn't of wanted him to even have her along on this trip...it should be about him and his children.
You poor thing! :hug:
No Jo for over a week? I don't think we can do that! You will check in, right?
I'll try Mel :rotfl2:
His normal AM routine. He FORGETS what he is doing or needs and needs to go in and out and in and out and in and out until he is finally satified and leaves for work! Unfortunately after he does finally leave the house... he often comes back for SOMETHING he has left behind...?
That would drive me mad too :rotfl2:
If not I will have to look and decide. Maybe NY, Kat you got room on the couch for a Focker?
:rotfl2:
I love you Jo. Ummm, I do live in NEW Mexico. :confused3 Just sayin'. We share a border with Mexico. We were originally part of Mexico...you wouldn't know that though. I forgive you since you are from across the pond. :lmao: But, not the whole town looks like that. There are "non-mexican" buildings here too! ;)
See you can tell Mo you now have proof I'm a Brit :rotfl2:
Oh crap - we've only got a year off and then we're back to August again?! ;)
:yay:
I know! I am thinking of becoming a client of the esthetician though. She gave me a partial silk peel on my lower face and my skin looks incredible. My TE noticed my skin today and asked "Are you sure you want to leave that place? Your skin looks so great!". I do get amazing products - so that's on the PRO's list.
Yup! We're going with the Ducks to celebrate DNephs HS Graduation. We were going to do a 4 day cruise and then 10 days at WDW, but decided to scrap the cruise and just do 14 days in late August. :teeth: See you there!
OK :thumbsup2
I have never been to an airshow. I'm skerred!
This one is done over the sea so completely safe, well for the spectators anyway :rotfl2:
I am no longer a child...and just because I am her child...does not mean she gets to treat me with disrespect.
OMG that is so my Mum :headache:
It wasn't raining in our town, just cloudy, but after 5mins it started raining so hard and was so dark I banned all talking in the car so I could concentrate. I was freaked out. Well, actually, we decided to take her to see her pediatrician who we really like. She wants to see the x-ray and have a radioglogist read it, then she will coordinate care with the chiro. I thought that was reasonable and they said I could get her x-ray this afternoon if I wanted.
:thumbsup2
I hope you are now realizing that our kids are 5 and 3 and don't quite get the concept of, as Lindsey puts it, mommy and daddy being 'unmarried.' With that he hung the phone up on me. :headache:
How horrid :hug: Have fun tonight :goodvibes
Well T you'll be glad to know I'm almost packed for my Dads :rotfl2: I'm being brave and letting the girls pack for themselves this time, goodness knows what they'll take :rotfl2:
You're exactly right from north to south it's LA County, Orange County (OC), then San Diego County. The chicks from the Real Housewives show all live in Coto de Caza - an EXTREMELY ritzy area. :snooty: It's more than a gated community, it's more like a gated city. Creepy.
What do you mean by gated city? Literally? Those ladies where so far removed from reality...I'm not sure they qualified for "Reality TV". Now the NYC Housewives... they were just out of this world. :confused3 :rolleyes:
Lori- Does your soon to be EX live in MN?
Where exactly are they on their vacation?
Do you really believe that he tried to get separate rooms? I wouldn't of wanted him to even have her along on this trip...it should be about him and his children.
You poor thing! :hug:
You know...I have no idea where he's going to live. He's signed up with the MN National Guard and his one brother lives there. He's saying he'll be living in MN, but I don't know. The fiance' is from/lives in WI. He could possibly live there?
Right now they have the kids in a hotel room in Pittsburgh (an hour away from me) for the next 2 weeks (until 8/4). After they leave here they are going to CA to see the fiance's sister and possibly his dad and then going to LA to visit with his grandmother.
The whole room thing has been a battle since I found out he was coming here to visit with the kids and his attorney guaranteed me and my attorney that they would have been in seperate rooms. So either he had it planned like this all along or he didn't read the room descriptions right all along on travelocity (or whatever site he used).
And I too feel that he shouldn't have had the fiance here with him. He's been away from them since last July. He was first in training camp in IN for a few months and then went to Kosovo in September with the National Guard. He saw them for a few days at the end of March (3.5 days to be exact) while he had 10 days leave. The other 6.5 days he went with the fiance on a cruise to where he proposed to her. So, yeah...he should be making them his first priority and not have brought her along but like my attorney told me 'Go with the flow.' :rolleyes:
But to make matters even more complicated...we aren't even divroced yet. No papers have been signed, just served to him, because he refuses to sign them. Yet, he's engaged.
OY! My life is a soap opera! :laughing:
:goodvibes I don't want anyone to worry about us. We're fine. It was just a mess to drive in. I'm a smart mama now and we're staying home all day. ::yes:: It's been dumping buckets of rain on us on and off all day. I'm sure K's loving this for our lawn. :rotfl:
No matter how much it rains we don't have to worry about flooding either. Our house is up on a hill. The back and front yards both go down and there's a drain at the front of my house. So, that's nice to never have to worry about that.
Anyway, I'm just doing some math with the kids, and then planning some lessons for the fall. I'll check in laters, girls. :cutie:
Hi gang,
Too much to even try to get a hold of here.. I'm totally out of the loop.
We interrupt the "Focker Flow" with this Announcement"
A few of you have sent me PM's asking "WTH" is up with my "DO-OVER" WDW Trip.. (since you noticed the siggie ticker disappeared)
The short version.. My Back is out so the drive will be tough.
And even though it was a bare bones "DO OVER" I was still ancy about the whole thing.
And Sara has sprained her ankle.. new today
We got $533.00 in the mail today from some Gov. Tobacco Reimbursement Settlement. So that takes some of the sting of the week out.
So.. As of the moment we are BACK ON for Florida..
And since the kids do not know.. no big disappointments.
Stay tuned to this Station for Further Developments.
We now return you to your "Focker Line of Thought" Already in Progress
