Lil'l Diz has his very first loose tooth! :yay: How long until it falls out? What should I give him from the tooth fairy? :confused3 One of his friends got $100. I was thinking $5. Is that too cheap? I think I may have gotten $5 and that was... well, along time ago!

I always got $1 for a smaller tooth, $2 for the big ones :confused3

$100?? I would want to strangle those parents.

When I was a kid my parents accidentally pulled a $20 out of their wallets for one of my sister's teeth. She found it and was SO excited! And me...well, being 6 years older, I already knew what was up. So, I bribed them into giving me $30 to shut me up.

:rotfl2:

I forgot about the hidden mickey I found the other night at the bar.... I first saw it to the side with just the 2 ears coming out of the main part, KC saw it as a mickey face...whatcha think???

misc048zl5.jpg

I think it could be either.

wow, I'm no help. :lmao:

I'll be in touch if we decide we're really doing it. Thanks!

Have fun! The neighbor decided to leave her son here (she asked, it's cool) whilst she runs errands. So the boys are happy, and my day is kind of rescued. Except that I need to shower and whilst I would do that and let my kids be playing with no issue, I kind of hate to do it when there's someone else's kid here. So I guess I'll stink for a bit more. :lmao:

Just a warning, it could take up to about 3 weeks(maybe a bit more) for the Wii. They come from corporate in WA so it takes a bit sometimes. So plan accordingly! :)

LOL. I should prob get off my butt and shower too... and wake KC's dead butt up!

Love it! :lmao:

OK, thanks. We just need to figure out if we're doing "big gifts only" and then see. I have had the idea for a while that we should get them cheapish "real" digital cameras. My parents bought them the Fisher Price ones 2 years ago, and they've been good, but the kids are starting to notice how carpy the quality is, and always still want my camera. Being that it's a fairly pricey one, I hate to let that go on. I figure a $100/$120 is way more than good enough for them, but then they don't get much else - especially if Santa does a Wii.

Or maybe I'll just ask for it for me. :rotfl:

Good morning Fockers!

I sat here and read all replies but things are not sinking in today. The weather we are having today is making me grumpy.:sad2:

All your horror stories of nursing and the ER are making me laugh. I'm hoping to start nursung school this fall and your all making me re-think my descision. LOL

We're not doing too much today. We are on Potty Training Day 3 today and I swear this kid is NEVER going to get the whole poop in the potty thing. I want to have DR trained by the time his father comes at the end of July. That'll be a fun thing for daddy to deal with. :rolleyes1

O.k. ladies let us discus laundry, or rather my obsessive way of sorting it. I sort into the following piles:
darks
brights
lights
whites
this would seem normal, right? I then however take it a few steps further making me off my rocker...

I have for whites:
whites these do not get bleached because they may have a little bit of color that I do not want to fade.
white whites now these do get bleached.

I have for darks and lights:
greys these items are separate as they can go with either to make a full load.

I have for darks:
jeans that are heavy and I do not want them with shirts or other lighter weight cloths.

We won't even go into what happens when I have to wash rugs or sheets. It is not a pretty sight :scared1:.

you're not off your rocker...I do something similar to that. I also have my gentle wash items...which seem to be half of my clothes! (work clothes mostly) Those get divided into darks and lights, unless all of them make a full load, in which case they get thrown in together with a Shout color catcher---those are lifesavers! (rather, extra LOAD savers :thumbsup2)

Oh don't even get me started on RED clothing! :rotfl:

I LOVE Color Catchers. The kids get stuff so dirty that I still want/need to wash their stuff in warm water. With those babies, I can wash their whole load as one!

I am here to help you feel better about YOUR SORTING...

White's( socks underwear)
Whites that can be Bleached( if it is a Bleach Week)
"Tended" Whites... Clothes( shirts, pants) that you wear out in Public that will need to be "hung up" as soon as they Dry.
"Tended" Dark Blues ( same as the "Tended" whites)
"Tended" Reds
"Tended Pastels" ( These are USUALLY SARABETH'S and still at age 9 I find I am still having to "Pretreat":scared: )
Colors... this is my load of any color that you WOULD NOT be caught dead in.( also called my "Rat Around the House Clothes"Used for Yardwork, Painting, housework that involves bleach. I can leave them in a basket a day or two :yay:
Bath Towels/Kitchen Towels.
Cleaning Rags Towels.. :scared: NASTY Do not want them with my regular towels or even my "Rat around the house clothes". Sometimes they need to be Bleached.
Bed sheets

Only till the last year or two did I was Sarabeth's clothes with anyone elses.
So that could add 1 to 2 more loads.

:laundy: :laundy: :laundy: :laundy: :laundy: :laundy: :laundy:

and Finally....
Scott's Clothes I do not usually do his "Clothes" anymore. This is my way of him helping with the Laundry some.
Oh and BTW.. I went on Strike back in 1992.. I do not fold his socks anymore.
At that time he had 93.. YES 93 pairs of socks... and the patterns and colorshading drove me crazy. Sometimes I matched the wrong socks and he got frustrated because it was not good to cross your legs and have someone see that you have two different socks on.
So I wash them and put them in a basket.. and WAIT for him to sort them.
However.. sometimes he does not..( ACTUALLY .. That's MOST of the Time) .. and he has to "Find Matches" while he is getting dressed. :rotfl2:

Feel Better Now ??
Thought you would.. glad to help.

Oh.. why do I seperate The "Tended" clothes from the others..?? I know that every thing HAS to be hung up this way. If I throw them all in together... then something Might get wrinkled while I am trying to find something I can just THROW IN THE BASKET. ( Trying to eliminate thinking here people)
Either its Throw and Go.. or Hang.

Wow. Mine's not very complicated...

Dark-ish
Light-ish
Sheets & towels
Light-ish delicates
Dark-ish delicates

Fuzzy Laundry Sorting?! :rotfl:

That sounds more like mine, though I usually don't even sort out the delicates unless I have an unusually large load of whites or darks - i.e., they won't fit in one load anyway, so I might as well sort the material. :rotfl:

D is much pickier about his laundry than I am, so he usually does his own. :thumbsup2

We only have gentle cloths on very rare occasion. I do daycare (nanny) and do not wear anything delicate.
I will have to get those color catchers and try them.

I like the idea of tended cloths being seperated but I already have enough seperating the no dryer from dryer cloths when they come out of the wash. I get so mad when something slips by and ends up in the dryer.

I have only two classifications of clothes there... Dry Clean... and Dryer.
If I wash it... It goes in the dryer. Now Scott has some sweaters that he "flat dries".. but that's his stuff :goodvibes

I hate that too...

Well, I hate :laundy: to begin with.

This is pretty much what I do but with the kids clothes I wash theirs seperately. Lindsey's does not mix with DR's and DR's does not mix with Lindsey's. And neither of theirs gets mixed in with mine. :rotfl: The only exceptions are whites becaue I never have a big enough load with just mine so theirs are in with mine. But I have the basic piles of darks, lights and whites.

I told my soon to be ex the same exact thing. I HATE socks and hated matching them up! I would put them all in a basket and he would have to fish every morning. :rolleyes1 And this is one reason why the kids and I are bare foot most of the time.

oh my DH has been known to wear MY WHITE SOCKS if his aren't in his drawer (ie. I leave them on the couch unmatched overnight)

He has HUGE feet, too! I am a size 5 1/2 shoe and he's a size 14!!! (in men's of course) :scared1:

I don't like stretched out socks. :sad2:

I wind up with enough delicates for two small loads every other week between work clothes, undergarments and swimsuits. I'm allergic to drycleaning chems, so I wash everything I possibly can, often even if it says to dry clean!

FYI, acetate is NOT washable. Trust V. :headache:
