Lil'l Diz has his very first loose tooth! :yay: How long until it falls out? What should I give him from the tooth fairy? :confused3 One of his friends got $100.:confused: I was thinking $5. Is that too cheap? I think I may have gotten $5 and that was... well, along time ago!

WOW $5! I think I was luck to get a $1!! Times were hard I guess.

How do you go about getting it under the pillow? I have always wondered that, not being a mom of anything other than my furry baby yet.

Wall-E was really cute!! A great copy we found too! SO glad to have saved the $20 bucks since we are trying to be on a budget until after august!

Anyways I'm off to lay down and listen some more to my audio book.

NIGHT!

I forgot about the hidden mickey I found the other night at the bar.... I first saw it to the side with just the 2 ears coming out of the main part, KC saw it as a mickey face...whatcha think???

WOOHOO JO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Chef Ramsey! :lovestruc You donkey!!!!
Donkey??? :rotfl2:

nice SAVE!! :rotfl2:
I know :lmao:

okay all, have need some insight from ya. i just want to see if i'm being the cynical, witchy er nurse that this place can turn you into or if i'm being reasonable.;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
No you're not, I swell up very badly with stings but I would only go if it was starting to block airways or something and the colds :mad: How stupid are people?

WTG Jo! And love the Hidden Mickeys.
Thanks, I meant to say yesterday about your little girls injections, hope they're OK!

CE's panning again
OMG Janet I so missed that one :rotfl2:

We have a new Barbie starting on Monday. Of course Itty Bitty Barbie is going on vacay next week, so guess who gets to train New Barbie? Yup.. you guessed it ... ME! Hello? Does anyone else find this utterly absurd??
Well you have been there a few weeks so you're probably more skilled than most of the others there :rotfl2:

Jo: Hey that thing on your eye is gone, eh? pirate: :lmao: LY!
It's still a bit red :confused3

I am sitting here laughing my ..butt off.I put DH in charge of putting Rae to bed ( I need a break from her)and she has hidden from him. She had a nap at 5:00pm and there is no way she is going to sleep any time soon.I could make her go to him but this is too funny.He never does anything but play with her so she doesn't take him seriously.
Sounds like a fun evening Amy :rotfl2:

What was I thinking ignoring the Dis for a few days to spend time with my family? 20 pages to catch up on is hard. I really need to take better notes, especially since I don't know everyone's names yet.
You can't leave this place for too long :rotfl:

the first thing that came to mind is WAIT UNTIL I SHOW THE FOCKERS!
We all do that don't we :rotfl2:

So we went to the doctor today and it was confirmed that Tink has Asthma. She hasn't showed any signs of it, just allergies and eczema.
Oh poor Tink but it sounds as though she loved her ballet shoes :goodvibes

One of his friends got $100.:confused: I was thinking $5. Is that too cheap? I think I may have gotten $5 and that was... well, along time ago!
$100 :faint: My girls get £1 which is worth $2 per tooth, I used to get 10p which is 20cents :rotfl2:

Ok Fockers, off to bed. I have a training (about supervisiing sex offenders [they really don't want my opinion on this:rolleyes: ]) that I will be at all day wth no computer access. Pleasw keep the chatting to a minimum so I can catch up when I get home;)
So how was it? Was it bad enough to pull all your teeth out? :rotfl2:

How do you go about getting it under the pillow? I have always wondered that, not being a mom of anything other than my furry baby yet.
You'll be amazed how deep they sleep, honestly I can go into the girls rooms turn the lights on, put things in their wardrobes etc without them stirring. The hardest thing is remembering to put the money under the pillow and in our case write a letter :rotfl2:

I forgot about the hidden mickey I found the other night at the bar.... I first saw it to the side with just the 2 ears coming out of the main part, KC saw it as a mickey face...whatcha think???

misc048zl5.jpg
Cool, kinda half side view, half straight on :thumbsup2

Well it's chucking it down again, luckily they're just doing the doors today, although the glass to go in the front door is wrong so that will have to be fixed in a few weeks.

Morning everybody!

It's chucking down here too Jo. ;)

Another day shift today, not training anybody today though so the day should go by a bit faster than yesterday.

I am so sore from the Wii Fit, I think it is all the yoga that I have been doing with it. Going up and down the stairs this morning was not fun! At least it is a good pain. :goodvibes

Hello Gang... Sooo NOBODY MISSED ME. :snooty:
I have just had stuff going on and not much if any time for "Dis-ing"
Maybe today will be better.
Nice Trophy Jo. I assume you are sending it to me:woohoo:

So we went to the doctor today and it was confirmed that Tink has Asthma. She hasn't showed any signs of it, just allergies and eczema.
:hug: Thats a shame... Asthma does seem to happen a lot with people that have allergies.

If you have not already done the "Tooth Fairy" (But since it was last night you probably have).. Here we have made the First and Last "Tooth" special occasions. NOT $100.00 Special...:scared1: YIKES.
I have gone to rather elaborate steps with Sarabeth and the "Tooth Fairy".. to the point that at age 9( 10 in 30 days :sad1: ) She still Believes ...So I am probably getting really going to feel her rath as she will find out soon.. and the bad news had better come from me.( and yes she still believes in Santa) But I am going for the fond memories later in her life and the fun we had.

Our "Tooth Fairy is "Tinkerbell" and "Tink" has sent letters to Sara. Especially on the first tooth. Basically introducing herself and talking about their adventure to come in the next few years... Sara still has this letter.. done on special "Disney Stationary" that I downloaded for free.

"Glitter" when "Tinkerbell" comes .....she always leaves behind "Pixie Dust". The EXTRA EXTRA FINE Glitter that you can get at craft stores.
And sometimes she just "pops by" to check on Sara... leaves a note and "Pixie Dust"

First Tooth Joshua got a "Train Toy " along with $20.00... because it was the "First Tooth" . Sarabeth Got $20.00 and a "Build a Bear" Stuffed Dog that Barks. After the first tooth they got $5.00. The ONLY TIME we strayed from this.. Sarabeth lost a tooth while in DisneyWorld... so this was a "Special Occasion"... I arranged a photofrom Tinkerbell
from the Concierge (much like what you can get for a Birthday) and I got a "Gift Card" for $30.00 that went under the Pillow.

So Get creative.. our kids are only small once.. and the "Magic" soon fades... just like the Disney Magic and Characters.

Good morning!

Congrats on the golf win Jo!!

My baby is at 4-H camp this week--I'm not as worried about her as I was last year, but I still miss her!
Bear only got up once last nite! :thumbsup2
And I've been busy working too.

Like Mo, I tried to skim, but it's been over 10 pages! :scared:
So what's up chatty Fockers??

..........dang pup got my bedroom shoe......again :mad:

v-- how was the trip??? did we hear about janet's mom yet, did i miss it?
It was pretty good! Nope, I haven't mentioned Janet's mom yet - it'll be in an upcoming TR installment! ;)

say you had a bee sting and it was swollen (not entire body, face swelling, not trouble breathing) but just localized, simple swelling to the sting, would you go to the er for that???????
Nope, that's why I keep Benydryl on hand at all times! But I have always wondered - when should you start heading to the ER? I'm allergic to bee and wasp stings, never hit anaphylactic shock, but each sting was worse than the last, going from my whole limb swollen the first time, to hives all over the second time, to all of the above plus asthma attack (it did respond to albuterol, so I didn't go to the ER) the third time. So I kinda wonder if I ought to head straight for a Dr. next time around, y'know? :confused3

No one in that place even knows who Lisa Lampinelli is! :confused3
I'm afraid to ask, but who the heck is Lisa Lampinelli?!
We have a new Barbie starting on Monday. Of course Itty Bitty Barbie is going on vacay next week, so guess who gets to train New Barbie? Yup.. you guessed it ... ME! Hello? Does anyone else find this utterly absurd?? :sad2:
I think this could be good - you can mold her properly! :rotfl:

What was I thinking ignoring the Dis for a few days to spend time with my family? 20 pages to catch up on is hard. I really need to take better notes, especially since I don't know everyone's names yet.
Trust me, don't bother trying to catch up; just jump on in hwerever you are! :thumbsup2
Thanks to some pimping on this thread I started reading V's TR. I'm loving it.
Yay! Thanks for reading! :goodvibes
I also put Eats, Shoots and Leaves on hold at the library since her TR is making me self-conscious.
:rotfl:

T- I am working on a flat me. I have NO pictures of myself. It is really sad! I am the photographer, so I am never in the pictures. I think I will try and have Lil'l Diz, help me out. :thumbsup2
Hi Jen! Yep, you need to get Lil'l Diz trained as #2 photog! I'm thinking it's best to leave Tink out of this one, no? ;)

How do you go about getting it under the pillow?
Good question - I won't even be trying with Leo. First, he's up in the loft bed - no way I can get up there unnoticed. Plus, he always wakes up if I mess with him while he's sleeping. So we'll be putting his teeth in a little silver container my mom bought when he was born - it has a tiny tooth fairy on the top!

KC saw it as a mickey face...whatcha think???
misc048zl5.jpg
Definitely! :thumbsup2

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nothing exciting to report here. With Leo gone, I'm resolved to wrok out each and every day, in the hope that I might knock off a few pounds before his return. Maybe it's age, but I don't much care about how the extra weight looks; I do, however, care about the fact that hardly anything fits anymore and I don't wnat to spend money on clothes!
I'm also in full-on budget mode. I've got the next 4 months worked out, now I need to develop a long-range WDW budget. I've decided I need to start budgeting annually for all things WDW trip-related and STICK to the budget. All of this in preparation for Gramma's departure once I'm done with school. Wish me luck! :rotfl:
I was luck to get a $1!! Times were hard I guess.
That is what I give. I never understood the tooth fairy in the first place let alone her loose financial morals. I mean really, what is the possible resale value on all these teeth :rotfl2:.
Ok Fockers, off to bed. I have a training (about supervisiing sex offenders [they really don't want my opinion on this:rolleyes: ]) that I will be at all day wth no computer access. Pleasw keep the chatting to a minimum so I can catch up when I get home;)
My mom works in a prison and works with several sex offenders. I could not do it.
okay , i trump ya with this one. we had someone come in by ambulance for a toothache (it had been going on for a month!!)
seriously, people just think it's a ride. when we discharge them , they actually ask us, well how am i getting home, the ambulance brought me here!! dude, i dont' know not my problem. don't call an ambulance for a toothace, esp if you have no way home!!! aaaaaahhhhhhhh
i hear ya, read my toothache/ ambulance story!! and , in my county, the ambulance can't refuse them d/t nonemergent issues!!
:eek: this is my face in triage!!!!
i know, can you believe people??? that's the kinda crap you get in triage!! people come back to the window to complain that everyone is going in front of them. i'd like to say well, this guys heartattack beat out your cold sx in the urgent game!!!! but i can't bc of privacy issues. so i just say the programmed line " we see patients in order of severity of illness not in order of arrival"
All of this makes me just go :eek: My ex's mom once took him to the hospital because he had a big pimple on his butt. I am not joking. It was while we were separated and he called to tell me how he had to go to the ER. I think he thought I would be all worried. I just laughed and told him to stop being a wimp and his mom was a loon if she thought that was an emergency. That is part of why we got divorced. I was not sensitive to his needs --- needs to be a big baby for the rest of his life :lmao:.
So we went to the doctor today and it was confirmed that Tink has Asthma. She hasn't showed any signs of it, just allergies and eczema. Now she joins Lil'l Diz and I.
I also took Tink to the Dance store and bought her her first pair of ballet slippers. She was walking on cloud nine!:cloud9: Danced all around the store and carried the box all over the place, telling everyone she got new BALLET SLIPPERS! :cool1: She insisted on wearing them to bed tonight!
Aw poor Tink about the asthma.
Need to see a pick of that cutie in her new slippers.
I would give $1 for the tooth and post a pic of him when it falls out.
okay all, have need some insight from ya. i just want to see if i'm being the cynical, witchy er nurse that this place can turn you into or if i'm being reasonable.;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
say you had a bee sting and it was swollen (not entire body, face swelling, not trouble breathing) but just localized, simple swelling to the sting, would you go to the er for that??????? i've had 3 of those in the last hour!!
so tell me an i being a beotch or not????? :rotfl2:
be honest, i have thick skin. i can take it!!!
I admire your control.
Maybe some one will come in with a jellyfish sting and you can treat it. You can't get fired for whizzing on some one with a jellyfish sting :lmao:.
DUDES!! It's been a crazy day!! :faint:
My partner in crime, gave her notice today. She's the peanut butter to my jelly! I was sooo bummed out! She's the only one who "gets" me. No one in that place even knows who Lisa Lampinelli is! :confused3 Well, Dr. Botox and Itty Bitty Barbie convinced her to stay, only she's going into another capacity... as they're GOPHER! She's screwed now! :lmao:
We have a new Barbie starting on Monday. Of course Itty Bitty Barbie is going on vacay next week, so guess who gets to train New Barbie? Yup.. you guessed it ... ME! Hello? Does anyone else find this utterly absurd?? :sad2:
Glad she is staying.
Since you are the only sane person there I feel it is the perfect choice.
I am sitting here laughing my ..butt off.I put DH in charge of putting Rae to bed ( I need a break from her)and she has hidden from him.:rotfl: She had a nap at 5:00pm and there is no way she is going to sleep any time soon.I could make her go to him but this is too funny.He never does anything but play with her so she doesn't take him seriously.
Okay, I found her for him.She was in my closet sucking on a pacifier that she has found somewhere.:scared1: :scared: She hasn't had one since she was 2 but I swear those things will pop up until she is a teenager.
I am still :rotfl2: :rotfl: .DH is wrestling with Rachel and Peyton.He told them not to slap him on his bare belly.I heard a slap and and yell.DH said something I couldn't hear and then Rae said " but I didn't ,daddy.I slapped your bare tit*ies!":rotfl2:
This is all to funny.I give Rae :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 for her response. He did say belly after all.
********************************
Not much going on here today. I have to go and help dsil with her kids during swim lessons. We all play at the park while her kids take turns with swim lessons. Bug starts his next week.
We are having dinner at my moms for dsil birthday. Nana needs to get her butt out of bed and get the cake made. It is almost 9:00 and she is still tucked away. I think teens could sleep for days if given the chance.
I still have laundry to do as I was at my moms all day yesterday with the kids. Nana mows her and her neighbors lawn and we were having issues with the mower. I stayed to help her and the mower is still not working right. I think it has too much oil in it now. I need to take it to the mower guy and have him drain and refill it. We do not have the tool needed to get the oil out. The neighbor is leaving for vacation and was nice enough to pay Nana for the lawn even though it is only half mowed and looks like his yard has a mohawk :scared:.
Talk to you all later. Have a fockerriffic day.
so tell me an i being a beotch or not????? :rotfl2:
No, but it doesn't surprise me. We had to take my dad to the ER here whilst he was visiting from IL over New Year's. He was having horrible pain from gall stones (had his gall bladder removed last week, in fact.) and his insurance company told him he had to go to an ER and not an office, being away from home. :rolleyes: Anyway, we were in there for something like 7 hours, and I couldn't believe people were sitting there for coughs. Oh well.
That oughta shut down the "stink eye!!" HA!!!! Have fun CE!
smiley_lekkerding.gif
:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:
so guess who gets to train New Barbie? Yup.. you guessed it ... ME! Hello? Does anyone else find this utterly absurd??
Well, I'm sure you're their best worker, frankly. :goodvibes
Sometimes it really pisses me off that he's so nice.
This made me giggle. :rotfl:
I heard a slap and and yell.DH said something I couldn't hear and then Rae said " but I didn't ,daddy.I slapped your bare tit*ies!"
I adore Rae... :lovestruc :rotfl2:
Santa is supposed to bring us a Wii for Christmas but he's afraid to buy it too soon and then have a problem with the warranty if it doesn't work.
Oooh, good point. I want a Wii as badly as the kids, maybe more, but I was thinking Santa might bring it. I didn't consider a warranty timeframe, though.
It cracks me up that the Mii is gonna be a little chunky. Can I tell it that I'm just big boned? Nobody ever believes me when I tell them how much I weigh.
I have the same issue. It's obvious that I need to lose about 10 pounds, but no one believes what the 10 pounds would take me to. Not that it's a horrible thing, but...
My DH is all upset, saying that I gave it to them. Well when they get a pimple, I will be the first to point out that HE gave it to them!
Yeah, that's hardly a fair accusation. :hug:
My boys' teeth are loose for a very long time before they fall out. They get $1. I used to get $.25. Mine sleep through the pillow thing - providing I remember to do it... :rolleyes1
Have a good one everybody :wave2:
Hope your seminar is not too boring. :)
I forgot about the hidden mickey I found the other night at the bar....
Awesome, I see it as a 3/4 face. :thumbsup2
Well it's chucking it down again, luckily they're just doing the doors today, although the glass to go in the front door is wrong so that will have to be fixed in a few weeks.
So, no golf?
Morning Fockers !!
Hi, Rosie!
Morning everybody!
Hi, Lessa!
I am so sore from the Wii Fit, I think it is all the yoga that I have been doing with it. Going up and down the stairs this morning was not fun! At least it is a good pain.
Good for you! I managed to work out during the boys' tennis yesterday, and I did some arm weights I hadn't done in a while. I love the good workout pain! :cool1:
Hello Gang... Sooo NOBODY MISSED ME. :snooty:
Aww, of course we did. :hug:
Bear only got up once last nite!
..........dang pup got my bedroom shoe......again
Woohoo on the getting up, but what's a bedroom shoe? Something we "normal" people call a slipper? :rotfl: LY/MI. :hug:
I'm afraid to ask, but who the heck is Lisa Lampinelli?!
Oh, thank god. I was wondering, too, and I can't be TOO uncool if you don't know either. :lmao:
::yes:: That's the huge kicker for me. I absolutely refuse to have to go out and buy the next size, so if I can at least maintain - and I wouldn't mind losing so that they fit a little better, or so I could wear a few things hiding in the closet again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, we had a nice night. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

D says he's going to go do some work via his laptop at Panera or something (he tries here, but the boys won't leave him alone.)

We have a tennis lesson for us at 4:30, but until them I don't know what I'm doing. :confused: This is the first weekday of vacation (remember, they've not been out long) that we've not had some sort of playdate or something arranged. The boys are doing a morning camp next week, so that will be good, but I think it could get to be a long day if I don't come up with something.

Oh, Parla? I'm always bugging the midwest Fockers - but where are you in IN, if you don't mind my asking? I was born in Terre Haute. My parents lived in IL at the time, but Terre Haute was the nearest hospital. I grew up in East Central IL and my folks are still there. :thumbsup2

OK, I'm cheap.. er... I mean frugal. When DS lost his first tooth I didn't want to set up big expectations so I went with what I was going to give him with each tooth. $2 and a new tooth brush. You guys are really making me feel cheap! I always thought $5 was too much when my nephew got it. I have strayed from that a bit though. I forgot about it one night and he was so upset the next morning. So I made sure to remember the next night and then I hear how his friend at school said the tooth fairy always left extra the next night if they forget one night. D'oh! So I just forgot again this last week. I'm a horrible mother! But I did leave $5 the next night so he was happy. We started out using a little tooth fairy box but then we found a tooth fairy pillow with a string to hang it at Build a Bear so now we hang it on the door knob and I don't even have to enter the room. I was always so afraid of waking him up.

okay , i trump ya with this one. we had someone come in by ambulance for a toothache (it had been going on for a month!!)

seriously, people just think it's a ride. when we discharge them , they actually ask us, well how am i getting home, the ambulance brought me here!! dude, i dont' know not my problem. don't call an ambulance for a toothace, esp if you have no way home!!! aaaaaahhhhhhhh:eek:

:eek: I just can't believe people! Of course these type of stories explain why hospital stays are soooo expensive. DD got stung by a bee on her fingertip when she was about eight months old. I freaked a little but I never would have gone to the ER. I actually had a prescription to take in to the pharmacy across the hall from her ped so I just asked the pharmacist about the swelling and she said we would just watch her while they filled the prescription and if she showed any signs of allergic reaction I could take her across the hall. The swelling went down on it's own in about ten minutes and she was using the same finger to try and pick up flowers from the pattern on the floor. The pharm was so funny pointing out to other customers how that finger had just been stung by a bee and would ya look at that. :rotfl:

Yep, if you are gone for an extended period of time it's best to just jump back in and not try to catch up ::yes::

BTW, I started reading your TR today:goodvibes

I know I shouldn't try to catch up so much but I'm so afraid I will miss something! :rotfl:

Thanks for reading my TR. It's actually a little unfinished. Someone asked me to post about the trip home. I took a few days to get my thoughts together about what I wanted to say but when I went back it was closed. I just posted what I had to say on the real longest thread and called it a day. I didn't feel like trying to figure out who to contact to re-open it. I actually need to read it again myself. The trip back has caused some selective memory loss. :rolleyes:

I forgot about the hidden mickey I found the other night at the bar.... I first saw it to the side with just the 2 ears coming out of the main part, KC saw it as a mickey face...whatcha think???

misc048zl5.jpg

I had to call the houses resident hidden Mickey spotter into the room for this one.

I said, "What do you think that looks like?"

She said, "Oh cool! A Mickey face with his tongue sticking out!":laughing:

I'm also in full-on budget mode. I've got the next 4 months worked out, now I need to develop a long-range WDW budget. I've decided I need to start budgeting annually for all things WDW trip-related and STICK to the budget. All of this in preparation for Gramma's departure once I'm done with school. Wish me luck! :rotfl:

I've kind of started budgeting for our trip to WDW in a few years but it's hard when you guys keep talking about Disney Store clearances.;) If I can truly have my dream Christmas trip of two weeks at AKL it's gonna be at least $11,000 not including price hikes. I'm thinking that's pretty close to DVC but when do points expire? It would take a heck of a lot of points to stay for two weeks at Christmas though (not to mention the availability issue). Basically I want to drive down the second Christmas break starts and not come back until the last possible moment. That would also give DD a birthday (January 1) at WDW. Of course DS would probably be a little jealous but his birthday doesn't fall around any vacation time! I really need to increase my automatic deposits to ING though if we are gonna even come close to swinging this. Of course my plan is to have close to enough saved and then put the whole thing on my Disney Visa (take advantage of that 0% interest for six months) for the points so I can redeem the rewards dollars for a debit card before the trip (that's what I did last time and it was awesome).

===========================

Sorry for the long post. It would appear that I don't know how to make short but sweet replies. :rolleyes1

Oh, Parla? I'm always bugging the midwest Fockers - but where are you in IN, if you don't mind my asking? I was born in Terre Haute. My parents lived in IL at the time, but Terre Haute was the nearest hospital. I grew up in East Central IL and my folks are still there. :thumbsup2

I'm on the South side of Indianapolis. I grew up in Bloomington. I used to work for Columbia House and the company store was in Terre Haute so I drove there a lot to get cheap CDs. :) Before Indiana had a lottery my mom would sometimes drive through Terre Haute to get to Illinois to buy lottery tickets. :sad2: She did win enough on scratch offs while we were there once that we stopped at a Red Lobster in Terre Haute on the way back and I got my first lobster. :woohoo:

Lil'l Diz has his very first loose tooth! :yay: How long until it falls out? What should I give him from the tooth fairy? :confused3 One of his friends got $100.:confused: I was thinking $5. Is that too cheap? I think I may have gotten $5 and that was... well, along time ago!

Sorry! Cheap mom here. We do $1 per tooth. NO extras, no toothbrush, no letter, no glitter...etc.

AND that's if I remember....which I usually don't. They don't wake up though. Not that I recall, anyway. DH usually does the delivery though.

I'm home today. Gotta finish that darn laundry! It's mocking me....I swear. Then pick up ds from friends, drop off library books, drop off Jumper at video store and then home again. My sons are making the "I'm bored" faces already and I have warned them that there are LOADS of chores they can help with if they're "bored."

When did I turn into my mother? When? Did you guys see when it happened? :confused3

Re the ER room visits ! We ahve an ER room nurse next door so other than really obvious emergency things we ask her , many times she has done the ER stuff for us with out the trip!!We trust her judgement so we don't do those ridiculous ER room visits!

T- I am working on a flat me. I have NO pictures of myself. It is really sad! I am the photographer, so I am never in the pictures. I think I will try and have Lil'l Diz, help me out. :thumbsup2
Cool! You can always just email me your pic and I can make FLAT JEN, if it's a time issue. :goodvibes

So we went to the doctor today and it was confirmed that Tink has Asthma. She hasn't showed any signs of it, just allergies and eczema. Now she joins Lil'l Diz and I. :headache: My DH is all upset, saying that I gave it to them. :sad2: Well when they get a pimple, I will be the first to point out that HE gave it to them!
Well that sucks. Evan & I both have asthma - his much worse than mine, sadly. :guilty:
omg, sorry. you see you hit a nerve with that one!!! thanks for the vent!
Uhhh... no, I'm sorry for hitting that nerver. :eek:
:rotfl2:
It's still a bit red :confused3
Really? I was just teasing you... I didn't notice any redness. :hug:
I'm afraid to ask, but who the heck is Lisa Lampinelli?!
Oh, thank god. I was wondering, too, and I can't be TOO uncool if you don't know either. :lmao: QUOTE]

Apparently I'm the only vulgar Focker in this room. :rolleyes1 Lisa Lampinelli is the most VULGAR comedian on Comedy Central. She makes Kathy Griffin look like Mother Theresa. :angel: What can I say.... I like dirty comedy. :confused3

I'm off to Botoxville! Have a great day, friends! :grouphug:

I'm on the South side of Indianapolis. I grew up in Bloomington. I used to work for Columbia House and the company store was in Terre Haute so I drove there a lot to get cheap CDs. :) Before Indiana had a lottery my mom would sometimes drive through Terre Haute to get to Illinois to buy lottery tickets. :sad2: She did win enough on scratch offs while we were there once that we stopped at a Red Lobster in Terre Haute on the way back and I got my first lobster. :woohoo:

Ooh, fun. :thumbsup2

When did I turn into my mother? When? Did you guys see when it happened? :confused3

:hug: Sorry, Mel. I didn't see it. :rotfl:

Thanks for the info. Have a good day! :hug:

I am so sore from the Wii Fit, I think it is all the yoga that I have been doing with it. Going up and down the stairs this morning was not fun! At least it is a good pain. :goodvibes

All the Wii talk was cracking me up! Remember KC worked for the retail store in NYC. They always say they are sold out but they actually allot a certain amount of each thing (Wii or Wii Fit) per day to sell so they dont run out. They never tell you that tho!

If anyone really needs a Wii I can def get one (for a bit cheaper than retail) and mail it to you, just let me know! I have connects! ;)

I think thats really cute! More poweer to ya, seems like a lot of creativity!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nothing exciting to report here. With Leo gone, I'm resolved to wrok out each and every day, in the hope that I might knock off a few pounds before his return. Maybe it's age, but I don't much care about how the extra weight looks; I do, however, care about the fact that hardly anything fits anymore and I don't wnat to spend money on clothes!
I'm also in full-on budget mode. I've got the next 4 months worked out, now I need to develop a long-range WDW budget. I've decided I need to start budgeting annually for all things WDW trip-related and STICK to the budget. All of this in preparation for Gramma's departure once I'm done with school. Wish me luck! :rotfl:
The little box is an adorable idea!
We are def in budget mode as well! We are trying very hard to keep things to a minimum so we can save for the trip, and hopefully future trips too!
That is what I give. I never understood the tooth fairy in the first place let alone her loose financial morals. I mean really, what is the possible resale value on all these teeth :rotfl2:.
:lmao: :lmao:
I had to call the houses resident hidden Mickey spotter into the room for this one.
I said, "What do you think that looks like?"
She said, "Oh cool! A Mickey face with his tongue sticking out!":laughing:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Nope! I know who she is. I like me some vulgar comedy as well!
I'm bored already...can ya tell it's been a long week? KC is still out cold. SOme guy was yelling at some other apartment this morning and it woke me up! I was about to call the realty company when he finally left. Jeez.
Might be having lunch with Pants today, he said he will come save my boredom for a while. Otherwise it's the last day of this 3-midnight carp wioth KC, so thank god!
Have a good one, I'll be poppin in and out.
I don't know if they do that here, I have a friend who works at Best Buy and they actually would sell all their copies when they came in. The store here where I live would only get maybe 5-10 systems in a shipment so they went fast. It is a bit easier to get them now but you still have to hunt a bit.
I'll be in touch if we decide we're really doing it. Thanks!
Have fun! The neighbor decided to leave her son here (she asked, it's cool) whilst she runs errands. So the boys are happy, and my day is kind of rescued. Except that I need to shower and whilst I would do that and let my kids be playing with no issue, I kind of hate to do it when there's someone else's kid here. So I guess I'll stink for a bit more. :lmao:
