I wonder if you were still in her email address book or something. My dd got the same type of invite from someone she went to school with last year and this girl does not talk to dd any more. They were best friends and she has always been moody. She just one day stopped talking to dd. Dd thought the same as you. Why the heck did this get sent. Dd didn't add either. If your ex friend really wanted to mend fences she would call you directly or email you directly and I do not blame you one bit for how you feel.

It is all really bizarre. I don't think it was the e-mail thing because the "please add me as a friend" request stated that she found me by searching my name. So it seems she actively sought me out. I guess the thing that angers me the most about it all is that I ended up stewing about it all night at work as it made me remember how mad I was back then and it all just came back.

It is all really bizarre. I don't think it was the e-mail thing because the "please add me as a friend" request stated that she found me by searching my name. So it seems she actively sought me out. I guess the thing that angers me the most about it all is that I ended up stewing about it all night at work as it made me remember how mad I was back then and it all just came back.

So, don't add her, cackle an evil laugh and think of all of us who love you and how much smarter you are now about choosing friends. Don't waste anymore time thinking about someone so annoying.

Last night was a downer. we got to the park (MK) at 8:00 and we only got in 3 rides.. can you guess the FIRST ONE... ?? IT BROKE DOWN...but we still rode it.

moved on to Haunted Mansion.. ... broke down 2 times.. left us in the graveyard for over 10 minutes... Joshua was not happy...

Last was Splash Mt ( by this point it is 9:30)... BROKE DOWN 3 times
Joshua was ready to get out of the ride.

I thought we would grab a quick POTC ride... CLOSED till THURSDAY. got back to the room at 11:40 last night.
NOT the best start to our vacation.

Can you hit an ignore or a reject button, so she knows that you want no contact with her?

I wish I had an ignore button for the kids. Also- a mute would have come in handy yesterday. The kids kept coming in yelling about one another when I was on the phone with people. They're angels, I tell you...

I think that is exactly what I am going to do, place her on ignore. I am resisting the temptation to send her a nasty note with the friend decline.

Since we're talking about friendship issues, I have been really crabby for the last few weeks. The end.


No, just kidding. I have a friend who I've just gotten close to and I love to hang out with her. our girls are besties (like, OMG!) and our other kids play great together. It's so nice when we all get together. We even go to brunch or a movie every once in a while to "get away" and get time to talk without 6 kids in our faces. It's a the best friendship I've had here since we've moved two years ago.

The problem is, I'm a planner and she's spacey. She doesn't know where her cell phone is half the time and she has no machine on her home phone. It drives me nuts when the kids want to go swimming (we both have season passes) and even though I leave a message, I still haven't heard from her for several days.

I feel stupid calling her over and over, but she's near impossible to get. She's always so sweet and glad we get to hang out, but I think my hormones (I'm wacked out on pain meds and BCPs over here!) are messing with me and I should just stop being silly.
What do you guys think? I'm being silly, right? Or am I bordering on stalking?

The way to do this is duct or duck tape. First you mute with the tape. Then you ignore by going to the next room.

Girl, I feel ya! I am like you and it seems that I attract the spacey friends. All of my friends are complete space cadets! Drives me straight outta my head.

A very wise friend once told me, if it bugs you that much don't be friends with me. So, I wasn't. But, if that's too drastic, I say chill. She'll get your message eventually. Find some peeps who are good with planning, like you!
Or tell her that if she doesn't start carrying her cell around on a chain at her neck, you're going to have to resort to hiring someone to follow her 24/7.

I should punish them by sending them out inthe 98 degree heat and 100% humidity to jump on the trampoline when they fight. That would end it soon. Or at least wear them out...

Really, their behavior has me wanting to send them away for a while wheil I recover. If they can't be quieter and behave, then how will I be able to sleep? Of course, I may be so drugged up I won't notice.

I have joked with her that I am going to get her DD more minutes and start calling the daughter (who I have a good relationship with) and asking to talk to her mom. I told her I know she always has her phone with her. She just giggled.

I know I'm hormonal and I don't want to go all, "why?! Why don't you ever call me?!!!" Sob. Sob. on her, YKWIM?

B said I should e-mail her and ask her if she still likes me. So cute, but no.

Whats up Dawn, V, Janet and everyone else?

I tried to DIS last night, but got stuck on a call with a friend. We were chatty, chat, chat. She is planning a WDW trip and is getting all into it. Even started DIS'n.

My DH comes home today from Missouri. Whew. The screaming Tink is ready to be put on street corner with a FREE SIGN! The child runs around screaming for everything. She has developed some sort of bounce. Not cute like Tigger either. If she doesn't get her way, she screams and bounces up and down until A. I put her in a time out or B. Her daddy gives her way to her. He has created a monster, so he should deal with her!

She is sitting her telling me to stop talking to her, cause I am bothering her. I scare her. grunt.

Yes. She is 3 1/2 ...going on 15. Please lord help me.
