Jo you are still the BESTEST!! She also lives in Kent and posted on another thread asking if you could buy LGMHs in the UK as they didn't have HD s!! So I offered to send her some like a true Disser and Brit!! I amstill waiting for the girls to find everything to print my pix ! Now they have all the parts and can't find the paper !!:rotfl2: I will push the issue again today !!
Well as long as I'm still your bestest :rotfl2:

Jo- Did you get sugarless gum? We've never had gum stick to B's braces. :confused3
This was about 22 years ago, I don't think they had sugarless then :rotfl2:

Hello From WDW !!!
Hi Katt :wave2: sounds like you're having a hectic time, hope it gets better :goodvibes

What do you guys think? I'm being silly, right? :confused3 Or am I bordering on stalking? :lmao:
I've had several one way friendships and eventually I just got fed up!

Jo- Has won yet another round of golf. Go figure. ;) :thumbsup2
I came second this week :rotfl2:

Uh oh, good luck with that!

Golf, perhaps? :rotfl: LY Jo!
No not today :rotfl2:

Get better soon V :hug:

Wow, ladies. It took me awhile to find you again! It's been a crazy spring around here, but I'm hoping to get reconnected to all of my Focker friends this summer.
Hi Jodi, we were wondering where you were a few weeks ago :goodvibes

I've been friends with a lady since we met in 6th grade. There were a couple years in our young 20s when our lives went very different directions and we didn't keep in touch, but we found each other again and were as close as ever.
I got back in touch with an old friend a few years ago, we were BFF from 3 to 11, she lived near my family so I used to see her several times a year, well about 1.5years ago I got this weird letter saying how much she loved our friendship and how much she missed me when we weren't in touch, well a few days later her partner phoned to say she had commited suicide :eek: I didn't know whether to be sad or angry and went from one to the other :headache: See what being friends with me does to you :rotfl:

I thought so too, but he assured me he's English. :rotfl2: One guy is from Wales. #2 came home Monday and said he was thinking about asking him if he speaks "whale" and then proceeded to go into full Dory mode...."hhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllooooooooooo, ddddddoooooooooooo yoooooooooooooouuuuuuuuu liiiiiiiiiiiiikkkkkkkkkkeeeeeeeeeeee ssssooooooooooccccccccccceeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr?"
So funny :rotfl:

I just finished mowing the lawn and weed whacking. Is it wrong to love a weed whacker? This thing is awesome. But it did go rogue on me and I hit a tree and sheered off some of the bark :( I hope it survives.
It should be fine :goodvibes

Geez you ladies talk a lot...:rotfl2:

Hey gals, chatty chatty today I see.

So I am so annoyed right now. I received an add friend request on Facebook from this girl that I was friends with for 5 years. She then turned around and stabbed me in the back and nearly got me fired from my job. I haven't spoken to her since and it has now been 2 years. When I saw the add friend request it just really pissed me off! Why on earth would she think I would approve her as a friend after what she did to me and why after two years would she be trying to get back in touch?! :headache: My mom told me I should forgive and forget but there is no way I can do that! :furious: One of my biggest personality flaws, I do not forgive easily and I hold grudges forever.

I say hit ignore and move on. I don't forgive easily. Unless I "Feel" that i really should. If you're not feeling it...then you shouldnt do it!

Errrr sorry it's pronounced Flan to rhyme with Ann :snooty: And remember I'm always right with my pronounciations, I'm British remember :rotfl2:

Excepting in the case of Mexican desserts. do I have to wave my mexican flag?? :confused3 :rotfl2:

Hello From WDW !!!

:wave: HELLOOOOOOOO!

Was your first ride BTMRR? How about space? :confused3

What do you guys think? I'm being silly, right? :confused3 Or am I bordering on stalking? :lmao:

Here's my two cents...and I get to give it because you guys moved on to another subject without me even being here...

Feelings don't lie. You can lie to yourself about your feeling...but feelings don't lie.

The screaming Tink is ready to be put on street corner with a FREE SIGN! The child runs around screaming for everything. :headache: She has developed some sort of bounce. Not cute like Tigger either. If she doesn't get her way, she screams and bounces up and down until A. I put her in a time out or B. Her daddy gives her way to her. :mad: He has created a monster, so he should deal with her!

She is sitting her telling me to stop talking to her, cause I am bothering her. I scare her. grunt.

Yes. She is 3 1/2 ...going on 15. Please lord help me. :faint:

Jon threw one fit in his entire life...in Sears. So, all I can say is...:hug: ...just for some support!

Nothing really new here. I did not reorganize my fridge last night. In fact, I didn't do anything last night. I seem to be fighting something because I'm beyond exhausted and my temperature keeps alternating about every 45 minutes between 100 and 97. :confused3

Oh. And it's HOT. And. HUMID. Again. :headache:

Feel better V!!!

Now I have a friend stalker, stalking me. ::yes:: :faint:

You weren't supposed to tell anyone about my "problem"...:rolleyes1

You guys got me thinking more about this...

I've been friends with a lady since we met in 6th grade. There were a couple years in our young 20s when our lives went very different directions and we didn't keep in touch, but we found each other again and were as close as ever. I consider her and her DH/kids family - I never miss (though I have been late) a Bday/Hannukah/etc., I've tried really hard to keep informed about what's happening in their lives, and I've spent countless hours and dollars visiting them in other states. For the past few years, she's been "too busy" to stay on top of holidays and they've only ever come to visit me once in 15 years. My income is about 1/3 of theirs, and while it's not necessarily about money, it's begun to frustrate me that it's always been up to me to maintain the connection. I felt absolutely horribe when I had to cancel this summer's trip to see them due to lack of vacation time and money. But I finally realized how one-sided this friendship has become and I'm over feeling guilty. I'm not at the top of her priority list and she shouldn't be at the top of mine; I've got family who haven't even met Leo yet. It's a shame if we won't see eacs other much in the future, but it is what it is. She'll always be my friend, and I love her and her family to pieces. But even in friendships, you have to draw a line sometimes, I guess.

Not the same situation, so I'm not advising anything here, just started thinking about it and thought I'd share. :)

:hug: It's not right to put in all the effort and get nothing in return.

Nothing would make me happier than for today to magically transform into Friday. :headache:

On second thought...

A 75% off code for the Poly in Oct. would trump Friday. ::yes::

Ohhhhhhhhhh! I priced 2 nights at the Poly for our Christmas trip...because hopefully I'll be staying "elsewhere" for the rest of our trip, and it was going to be $1100! :faint:

So.........
DH and I leave tomorrow to go "home" to the Boardwalk for 6 days!:banana:

If I wear this:

Yeah, so did it occur to anyone here to MENTION the BWV/Focker Curse to me when I put in my PTR that we're going to the BWV on Sunday?????

Who's gonna tell me!? OMG. Is it something really horrible? Oh, it's not bedbugs is it??

OMG.

We've just finished our 14th year teaching (how can it be that long:confused3 ). DH teaches HS Theatre. I am a first grade teacher and LOVE it!
Our girls are Maggie, Rosie, and Poppy---and we NEVER take them to Disney.....

group pic small.jpg

...because they won't let them in. No tax deductions, either...:(
We think this is trip luck 13 to Disney, but we kind of lost track after we bought DVC....sad, but true. It's our happy place and we usually plan a trip right after school gets out. It's our own personal "finish line" to the school year. :)

After you here about the BWV and the Focker curse, you may not want to logon here until AFTER your trip:rotfl2:
I think I need the scoop on this one.....:confused:

Historically, all Fockers who stay at BWV are placed in rooms way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, far away.

Fockers normally get put in the furthest room down loads of hallways, remember Kat and S'Lates TR's :eek:

Thanks, Janet.

Hi, Jo! Thanks---I may have just found my new best friend!:cool1:

Fockers normally get put in the furthest room down loads of hallways, remember Kat and S'Lates TR's :eek:
Yep...that's happened to us plenty of times at the BW, usually when we requested a BW view. This time we're either pool or garden (preferred view) so maybe we won't have to hike quite so far.

I'm sure your husband has golfed in Disney. My DH loves to when he can, but it is not cheap! He did Eagle Pines a few years back and still talks about it...

I'm packing the blister treatment and moleskin even as we speak! I always figure the extra steps mean extra :drinking1!

WELCOME ABOARD! :yay: I'm V, single mom to my DS6 Leo and Floridian. I love me some Fuzzy Disney Math. Which is how I rationalized my DVC purchase. :rolleyes:

Hi, Mel! I hope you enjoy the BWV as much as we do! There's no beating the atmosphere at night! It's the best!:thumbsup2
The walk really isn't all THAT bad, unless you're really tired...which you never are in Disney World, right? :lmao:
What type of "view" did you reserve? The BW views are spectacular and honestly worth the extra steps IMO. We've never had to walk too far to have a view of the parking lot.:rotfl2:
We'll be there until Tuesday, so I'll have to be on the lookout for you and your crew!
Jill

I made the mistake of looking at rack rate for Oct.... I had some kind of instantaneous gag reflex. :crazy2:

Right??? I so want to stay at the poly. Just once. so, then I thought...well, what about one night? But, I don't wanna just have a one night experience with the hotel! (that sounds dirty) I want to have time to look around.

I don't know what to do.

Just for kicks...how much is the DVC versus AP discount on rack rates?

Our room was at the END of that last hallway! :faint:

Ahhhh...but you had what Jon covets...doors on the inside!! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

V- I am shuddering just looking at the darn hallway walks....yeessh.

Kat Makes awesome ribs. :) What doesn't Kat Make? She is the Martha of her hood!

Ok I Love that, it cracked me up! Speaking of cooking I decided last night I need to learn to make rice pudding. I'm nuts I know.

Oh. And it's HOT. And. HUMID. Again. :headache:

Something to look fwd to....i swear I keep trying to make myself go out around noon to prepare for FL I just figure I'll tolerate it more because it's WDW. :confused3

I know we changed the subject, but I missed the boat this morning....
I def feel, more often than not, that I am the one putting all the effort into friendships. I have actually ended friendships because of it. I have very few close friends, people whom I can call if I need someone, and most of them don't live anywhere near me! Sad but true. I just think at this point in my life I can make efforts to maintain friendships and if others cant, it's not worth the efforts. Ok I'm done.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gonna be a long day today...KC is going after work to see our friend/accountant to fix some 2006 tax issues. I';m annoyed tho because he made some kind of mistake and we were sent a letter and he had to rework the taxes, now he wants to charge him again?! Not happy.
So Monday is my b-day and apparently KC hadn't thought till now to get the day off, so he is working until 2pm instead of a day off. I was kinda upset but what can I do right? I'm just going to have to meet him in the city at work then head out for our day of fun (I hope).
Whats everyone else up to today???
WELCOME ABOARD! :yay: I'm V, single mom to my DS6 Leo and Floridian. I love me some Fuzzy Disney Math. Which is how I rationalized my DVC purchase. :rolleyes:
Hey V! Thanks for the welcome!:goodvibes
Fuzzy Disney Math is one of my favoritest things. We're trying to decide if it make sense to buy APs so we can sneak in another trip earlier in the summer next year. We've typically been doing every other year Disney/Vegas or beach for the past several year. If we rent out our points it pays for a different vacation. Now THAT'S some good FDM!:rotfl:
You DID have a hike...that's not happened to us YET for a standard view, so I'm crossing my fingers!:)
Oops! Gotta finish packing and take Rosie to the groomer so she won't have "presents" in her tail for the dog sitter.
Hi, Jo! Thanks---I may have just found my new best friend!:cool1:
I'm sure your husband has golfed in Disney. My DH loves to when he can, but it is not cheap! He did Eagle Pines a few years back and still talks about it...
He played last year at Magnolia with 2 DH's and one Dad of Fockers, it was a long and very hot round :rotfl2: BTW I also play and constantly talk about golf, I've just been cut to 14 :yay:
Uh, HELLO?! :rotfl2: I present our walk to Dec. 2007's Standard View 1 bdrm:
