TEAM FIVE: Herc's Heroes--April Miles/Hours thread! Post here!

Monday I ran 3 mi in 31:38, plus 1 hour of Fit Ball. My legs are pretty tired from the biking yesterday, but hopefully the two workouts today helped to shake some lactic acid out of the muscles. Have a great night team!
 
Need to report my totals from last week. Sorry not many - I was in WDW and my left leg is still injured from my half. :headache:
I ran a 2 miler and a 3 miler. I wanted to run more, but it wasn't happening.

I ran 2 miles yesterday. I wanted to run 3, but my left leg couldn't go any further. DH thinks I need to take off a couple weeks and let it heal. I'm really bummed about that. We'll see... :confused3
 
Shan - Oh no, I was wondering how you were doing! Can you describe what is bothering you with your leg? You may need some rest, a good massage and perhaps a visit to a chiro for some active release therapy..?
 

Yesterday it started in my upper left front leg around mile one. Then about a half mile later my left knee starting hurting. I was determined to go two miles, but toward the end had to limp jog the street back to my house. Once I start walking I can't start up running again. Then when all is said and done my left heel and arch hurts.

I'm able to walk around OK when I'm not running, it usually starts about a mile into my runs???
 
Shan, I hope you can figure out what is causing you trouble. :hug:

Just did a 2.5 mile walk today in the nice weather. Not sure how long it took but would guess maybe 32 minutes...

Wow, look at all the heroes piling up the hours!

I did some ab work last night (about 15 minutes). I mostly slept after I put on my workout clothes... I was so tired!

Today, I did 1.05 miles on the elliptical in 15 minutes before my 1 hour pilates class, then I did 1.08 miles in 18 minutes on the treadmill (I was doing speed workouts--I walked at 4.7 for an entire 30 seconds towards the end--I didn't think my feet could move that fast!). I'm nervous about the Minnie in two weeks ! Oh, and then I did some stretching so my muscles wouldn't hate me. :)

I guess I might as well post my sad totals for this week. I have decided to not try to run again until next Tuesday (a full week off) and then if my leg hurts again I'm off to a doc.

Had to bail on the Indy Mini and am now doing the 5K instead while all my pals do the half to celebrate turning 40 this year. :( Sad, but too many illnesses this winter. Ah well.

Yesterday, Saturday the 19th, I did D3W4 of the C25K.

30 minutes but I had no pedometer on and I was on a different route, I ran around my dd's school while she had softball practice but I wasn't on the track. I am going to just guess a little over 2 miles, call it 2.1.

Good morning everyone!! Sorry I have been MIA again.... unfortunatley I got a bit down there for a few weeks, and didn't have the motivation to do much of anything. I promise to go through and update with my times and miles, and get everyone else's updated too. Things are now back on track with me, I am feeling much better, and can't wait to see how everyone is doing!!
