We usually get the VEA shuttle from CDG to DLP, however this year my husband can't come along so my mother is coming with me instead. As I've got a back problem and she's got arthritis we figured we would rather pay for a door to door taxi and a taxi driver to lift the cases! I've found a few companies on line that you can pre-book and prices range from 65 Euro to 85 euro (TRV Prestige, Airport Taxi Paris & IS Prestige). Has anyone used a company they find particularly reliable? :confused3 Any advice would be great, thanks. Paula

We've booked RS Transports both times for our return journey (hotel to airport) and they've always been reliable... there in plenty time, always have car seats for kids and drop off at the right terminal of airport etc. We've always got a taxi from the airport to the hotel as well (VEA always seems to have massive queues), but we've never booked, just got one from outside the airport, so can't comment on what RS Transports would be like that leg of the journey. I'm sure they'd be reliable though :)

how much were RS transports? we arrive 2pmish this time so were hoping for a speedier option than the VEA to enable some park time before dinner

ezyshuttle are good, used them last trip, but also, they contracted out to a company called iris shuttle and they were as good too - both charge €70 from airport to disney for 4 ppl....

journey took about 35 mins

thats alot swifter than the 60-90 mins the VEA takes.... hrmmm very tempted

Think it depends on the number of people. RS Transports were €85 each way but there were 5 of us, a lot of the taxi's seem to charge depending on number of people. I agree it seems to be quite a bit quicker than the VEA, but on the way back I'd allow more than 35 minutes for the taxi... we got caught in traffic once and it took us just over an hour to get to the airport - thankfully we'd left really early as we'd had a bad experience with CDG on the way and wanted to arrive super early in case we couldn't find where we were going lol

do they have websites to book via? would be good to organise ahead of time

wow that is cheaper thank you! I wonder how long you'd have to wait for "shared taxi" rather than private taxi.

sometimes there is no wait at all - we once paid the shared shuttle price (3 in our party) with rstransports and we didn't share with anyone - got a lovely big sedan car and chauffeur all to ourselves :goodvibes.

If you have 4 or more in your party, pricewise and convenience wise a shuttle is probably the best option. There are usually only 2 or occasionally 3 in our party, so we take the TGV high speed train if at all possible, usually cheaper than a shuttle or the VEA, and at 10 minutes journey time, almost always the quickest way of getting to the gates of DLP.

Just used RS transports for the third time, shared shuttle, although we've never yet shared :confused3 59 euros each way. :goodvibes

They stay in touch with you, for instance they telephoned me on my mobile on arrival to say driver was on his way, but running a few minutes late.

They also go as paris blue shuttle, but i've always prebooked via the rstransports website. :goodvibes

you're welcome :) We've always paid for a private shuttle, but after reading the last few posts I think I might just book for a shared one next time. It'll save a few pennies if nothing else.

Once our youngest is a bit bigger and more able to go without buggy/get herself on and off the train I think we'll go for the TGV too, wanted to do that the first time we went so we would have longer in the parks, but wasn't practical for us hence why we ended up with the taxi. The thought of being in DLP in 10 minutes is fab :yay:

We have booked with ezy shuttle for our trip next month, there are 4 adults and 1 child in our party and it will cost e70 each way which is loads cheaper than the vea not to mention faster and more comfortable.Just checked with rs transport and they say e71.25 each way for us.

We used Ezyshuttle on our last trip (myself, my Mum & DD 3) and they were fab! :goodvibes They helped Mum into the car & provided appropriate car seats. We've booked them again for our next trip too, it's so nice to come through departures and get taken straight to your hotel! :thumbsup2

whats EZY shuttles website? will have to price them up.

I was going to use the TGV this time but we land at 2pm and the first trains at 3:40pm. Even allowing for luggage that means sitting around for a bit. Plus the website said 3 tickets would be £49!!! which seemed steep for one stop.

and thanks guys for all the help
