Target Skippy Peanut Butter Deal

FYI I did this yesterday and my coupons wouldn't scan. Then when the cashier tried to put them in by hand it said only one per customer (even thought the computer had already taken 3, the cashier was new and I think he messed it up somehow).

The assistant manager came over and tried to get it to go through. When she couldn't then she tried to tell me only one per item, I said "Yes, one per ITEM, NOT transaction". So finally she jury rigged it to take it off. Not sure what was going on. I wasn't rude and would have gracefully just requested they take the extras off my bill. No use getting snarky and ruining everyones day but I also won't pay full price for something just to make life easier for the cashier. Good luck.

Is this an in-store sale or only at Super Targets? I don't see Peanut Butter in our weekly sale ad.

It wasn't in the ad and I bought ours at a regular Target. I picked up 5 jars and used 5 coupons without a problem. I think that the scanning problems may have to do with the quality of your printer. I printed mine at work on a laser printer and they went right through.

HTH!

If you click on the coupon you will notice that it will be highlighted purple rather than blue. Then right click to "print picture".

thanks for the heads up. :thumbsup2
Skippy is our fav brand. At least I can head over to Target tomorrow and stock up. I'm also going to check out the price of the smuckers spread since there was a $1 coupon for that one too.

I was at my local Target (NY) and they had a letter indicating that they no longer accept copies of coupons from online due to fraudulent (sp) use. They showed copies of coupons as an example. Interesting how some stores still accept them and others, not. Wondering how Target will handle this as a whole. :confused3

Here I was buying them and thought $1.66 was a great price. Think I bought 5. Well I'll be there this morning with coupons in hand. THANKS

Ooooo.....I will be heading there today.

I still have $10 in Target gift cards from the cereal sale.

After DH went to our local store last night and spend $70 for very little food I just need to do more to save.

Dawn

How can target not take target's own coupons? That's ridiculous. I'd be writing corporate.

I wonder if this is the last day for the 1.66 price if it wasn't in the ad. I don't really want to make a trip just for this.

Thanks for posting!

My Target has that same sign at every register, but it is only the two coupons on the sign they won't accept. It's the $5 of of $25 and the $5 off of toys coupons. The other ones are still good, they had the peanut butter coupon on their own website.

Go on Target's website and find the number for corporate. I had this problem with an Easy Up's coupon on the day the fraudulent $5 off $25 toy coupon was invalidated. The clerk gave me a really hard time and said they were fraudulent. I have never been so embarassed in my life. I came home to see they still had the coupon on the website so I called. The customer service rep said the store was mistaken. They are accepting everything except the toy coupon and she would contact my store to let me know. She even sent me some coupons to make up for it.

My Target has the same thing posted. I even asked for clarification, and the customer service person told me that it was just those two as well. Apparently, someone tampered with the original $5 off $25 toy purchase coupon to make it $5 off any $25 purchase. One bad apple...

I can never get these to print, is there a secret??
What do you see when you try to print the coupons out?

You should see a box that asks you how many coupons you want to "duplicate" when you click on the coupon. Put the number you want in that box (my printer will print out 4 to a page). Then, another box will appear that says "To choose another coupon to print select OK. If you are ready to print your coupons select CANCEL"

IF AT THAT POINT, the coupons don't print but you see them on your computer screen, go up to the File on your tool bar (upper left corner), click on File, go down to Print on the list, and hit that Print. :goodvibes
