Target Skippy Peanut Butter Deal

WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ours were $2.09 here and I even scanned them and they came up that price. I chose not to buy any. They had the Smuckers peanut butter and Jelly mixed jars (KWIM??) where the peanut butter and the jelly are in the same jar. They had them for $2.39 and I asked the girl if I could use the $1 smuckers coupon on them and she said yes. Sure enough, the coupon scanned no problem. Just thought I would give a heads up to anyone interested.

Going to get more today. Our church's soup kitchen says they are in urgent need of PB and Jelly!

:thumbsup2

Our food pantry is super low too...they got some peanut butter today :)

Has anyone used the $1 smuckers coupon? I'm not sure if it's just the pure fruit spread or the jams/jellies too.

I used the Smuckers coupon on the jars of peanut butter and jelly that are mixed together. I asked the cashier beforehand and she said it was fine. They scanned fine!! ;)

I used it on the fruit spread, no problems.

I went to the store in Waterford CT today and it was $2.09. The cashier tried to tell me you could only use one coupon per purchase, but then called the manager over who said it was per item, and let me use all five. Only after grumbling about the web coupons and saying they should stop accepting them.

What ever happened to people at least being smart enough to wait until the customer was GONE to complain about company policy?

The small Skippy jars in our Target (southern NH) were 2.59. I scanned one and it still came in at 2.59:confused3 No PB this week. They did have the IP coupon posted at all the checkouts, saying they will not accept this coupon. The cashier said all the IP coupons will not be taken not just the one on the sample. Which was a spend xx/get 5.00 back.

That kind of attitude is UNACCEPTABLE!!

My Target had the skippy PB for $2.29!!!!:scared1:

I also went to the computer in Target to print out the $1 coupona and there wasnt one. So I will wait to buy PB!!

Well, we had a major run in today. My friend and I each had 7 jars and 7 coupons.

The cashier said we could only use one and then went to the manager who also said we could only use one! I had to get the other 6 taken off the bill.

Anyway, my friend just wouldn't let it go and got really upset and had each of her children use one so that she at least got 5 jars. Everyone in line was really upset with her and I was embarrassed at that point, but really, it shouldn't have happened at all....it clearly says "one per item!"

I picked up 7 jars of the Natural Skippy Chunky for $1.52 apiece, 52 cents after the coupon. I also got Classico Pasta sauce for $1, with the coupon, and I used the $1 coupon on the jelly (I got the low sugar kind - with no artifical sweetner, but less than half the calories of the regular kind). The cashier was confused, but the manager smiled and said 'not a problem'.

This was at the Target in Dublin, OH.

Gotta love a bargain!

I'm sorry you had to go through all that!

But at least they let her kids get them. I was told at Walgreens that it is a limit of 3 per HOUSEHOLD!!!!:headache:

That's our closest Target, too. After hearing that, I think I'll pass on this deal.

$1.52 peanut butter & $1.62 fruit spread minus the coupons = $.52 & $.62. :cool1: Jacksonville, FL

I went to our Target this evening after church and checked out the peanut butter. Ours was $1.66 for original creamy. Next to that was the Skippy Natural peanut butter for $1.82. I ended up going with the natural since we're trying to avoid hydrogenated oils when possible, and the extra .16 won't break the bank. I still think peanut butter at .82 is a good deal.

Oh I wonder if my Target has the natural, thats the only PB I buy. I love Skippy Natural, hate those not sugar added naturals. I'll be running to target to check this out!
