Target 20% off Target gift cards again this year?

Has anyone seen anything about Target offering the 20% off Target gift cards again this year? I believe it was offered in early December last year. Thank you!

I’ve never seen 20% off. The last few years, the did a 10% off special. There’s been no announcement this year.

The discount on Target GC's was 10%. The only time it could have been 20% on 3rd party gift cards was if the 20% off BF coupon worked. They have announced that again this year, spend $50 on BF and get a 20% off coupon for a future order. It's down from the $75 spend they used to do, so that's nice. But they haven't posted the exclusions and I imagine specialty gift cards has probably been added. (but I'm all for being pleasantly surprised )

Still hoping they do the 10% some time in Dec as a late season motivator to boost the revenue.

We’ve seen the offer available online before, but there always seem to be lots of complaints. In store, they hand you the coupon. Online, it’s supposed to be emailed to you the next day. Seems like it’s always late or never comes. In store, you can purchase a gift card and get the coupon, but online, they seem to program in extra restrictions.

Also, this coupon has never been valid on any gift cards.

Thanks for the correction; I must have confused the 10% gift card discount with the 20% off coupon. I still hope they offer the 10% gift card discount!

On one day around Christmas for the past two (maybe three) years, Target lets you buy their gift cards (Target gift cards) for 10% off, up to $300 worth. So, you pay $270 for a $300 Target gift card.

Interesting, Hope they do this again this year. That could amount to substantial savings for our May trip.

They also had 1 year where if you bought2 Disney gift cards you got a $5 or $10target gift card. I would buy as many $25 gift cards as I could and just roll the target gift cards plus 10 percent. I think that was 2 years ago

Yup, that was two years ago. It was a $5 Target card and the $25 Disney cards were new and had to find. I remember typing in about 150 gift card numbers to combine them online.
