Target $10 gc with $50 purchase coupon

Are you able to use the 8/80 coupon as well as the $10 gc / $50 purchase on the same transaction?

I don't think my Target is even awarding the 8/80 offer! I've spent $200 yesterday on GCs and another $256 today and no coupon. I'm still very thankful for the $90 in Target gift cards that I now possess, though and I DID save 5% with my Red Card......plus I got a few Christmas gifts out of the way ;)

Thks for link to print 4 coupons via pdf. Was able to get 4th generation 16gb ipod touch for $199 plus $30 worth of gift cards.

My Target would only let me use one coupon. The manager said only one coupon per customer.:guilty:

Sorry to hear they wouldn't let you use two coupons, I went to Target twice yesterday (once in am and again in pm) because I was afraid they wouldn't let me use more than one coupon. But today I went back to get another two $50 Disney gift cards and decided I didn't have the time to come back again so I took them both to the register and told the cashier I needed to do two transactions because I had two of the coupons - no problem at all!

So far I have $280 in free target gift cards! We are hoping to spend a total of $2000 on Disney gift cards, which will mean $400 in free target cards:)

Thanks for this thread!

It actually does say only 1 coupon per customer on the coupon itself. :sad2:

The way it is worded on the coupon itself is open to interpretation.

Thankfully at our Target they allow multiple transactions, one after the other.

We did this last year to pay our DVC MFs and our annual passes. And we did it again this year!

Gotta love 20%off Disney!

Does anyone know if I can combine multiple Disney gift cards into one when I get to the park? Don't want to carry around and keep up with the balance on 10 different cards!

TIA!

Unfortunately not. There have been talks about combining it into one via Disneystore.com, but that takes a lot of work. As far as keeping up with the balance, it isn't that difficult. Bring a sharpie, but use one first, use it all up, then move onto the next one.

OK; thanks. A follow-up question if you don't mind:

Can I combine gift cards for a purchase in the parks? For instance, I have $10 left on one card, but my balance due is $15. Can I use another gift card for the difference?

Yes you can! :thumbsup2

Yep, you can pay with as many gift cards as you need to when you're checking out. If you have 5 - $10 gift cards and your purchase is $50 you can use all 5 gift cards. Also, if you're staying on site you can just charge to your room and then pay off that balance at the hotel with all of your gift cards.

I wish this was just limited to red card holders and that they enforced the limit of 2 redemptions per customer. It is sad how people abuse promotions and then brag about it on the internet.

How is this abuse?? It's not like anyone is getting cash..Target loses nothing on this,..but gains. I stopped going to Target because a Walmart opened up near us. These coupons have brought me back there and while there..I spent money on other things :)

I guess that the limit of 2 being redeemed multiple times isn't abuse of the promotion intent? As with all good intentions, it only takes a few to ruin it for others. It is easy to justify redeeming more, that is why you see people abuse the promotion. Won't be too long before Target doesn't allow any coupons or discounts on gift cards, no matter if they are entertainment or not.

How in the world is Target (or any other company) going to keep track of how many you use? Many people have multiple computers (or other devices that print) and can use all to print. For example, we have 2 computers and 2 iPhones hooked up to our printer. Feasibly we could print off 8 coupons. So I am allowed to use because that is how many sources I have to print from, while Joe Smith only has 1 computer and so he only gets 2???? There is no way to regulate this and that is why they only stipulate 1 coupon per transaction!

ETA: I also wanted to add, that I understand what you are saying about "abusing the system"! I would hate for Target to fall into the realms of "extreme couponing", but I don't see how this necessarily falls into that category! Target isn't losing money in the long run if people take their business there instead of elsewhere!!

If you get allowance of two per computer and your family has a couple computers, you are allowed to print. There is nothing wrong with printing the number allowed. Now if they stated only 2 per household, then that's different. People that want to take the time to go to each source and print, then so be it, to each their own! Not to mention your receiving a $10 gift card, which is then giving Target corporation more business. Most people that do this are red cold holders, as anymore with the debit card, most shoppers are holders.
I'm a very frequent target shopper and give them plenty of my money! So I don't feel like I broke any rules printing 2 from my computer and 2 from my daughters!
