Taping of Christmas Day Parade

Does anyone know if we have to get tickets to the Christmas Day Parade taping or can we just show up. We'll be there on Dec. 3 and would love to be there!

From what I've read, you just have to show up. I've that you need to get the park early to get near the parade line-up.
You can do a search and a few links should come up about this.

We are at WDW from the 1st through the 10th, but are going to avoid MK the first few days because of the filming. I hate large crowds.

I wont be there until the 22nd of Dec. for the MVMCP.. But I am not sure when they tape the christmas parade. I would love to be there too.. How exciting

I hope it works out for you. The DH and I arrive, early, on 12/03 and have kicked around the idea of going to the filming and have about decided against it, based on two things, when you view it on TV, it appears that there is a CRUSH of folks there and we don't want to spend a whole day nailing down a spot to hopefully view the parade. We have tickets to the MVMCP on the 5th so that will probably do it for us.
