In was looking at a menu for the Tangierine Cafe. Can anyone that has been there recently tell me if all is included under the DDP? I am sure it is, but the specials and the platters cost almost double the normal burger cost at other CS restaurants.

Thanks,

Maz

We were there in Feb. I'm a meat and potatoes girl so I ordered a cheeseburger off the children's menu. DBF loved it. We found it to be BY FAR the cleanest and most accomodating of the CS on our last trip. The manager was out checking on everyone and wiping down tables immediatley.

This is one of our favorites for a counter service. We just returned Friday and while we were there I enjoyed the chicken shwarma platter. It included the chicken shwarma, 3 sides, a roll, a drink and baklava for dessert. Yummy! All for one little old cs credit :cool1: A great deal and a great meal. :sunny:

This was our most expensive CS meal on our last trip. I think it rang up around $35 for DH and I. Keep in mind that I don't eat meat, so my vegetarian platter was a few bucks cheaper than DH's mega meat platter.

The lamb shwarma is really good...its a great counter service meal that doesn't feel so much like counter service food.

I can answer this one!! DH and I just split a Chicken and Lamb Schwarma platter last week. It was 13.95. Desert is a small baklava (you can pick the flavor) and we got a large bottle of water. I think it came to about $20. There was a lot of sliced meat, a pita bread, some tabouleh, hummus, onions and a parsely salad, and a yogurt sauce (I got extra sauce). It was very good. We sat in a quiet table in the back.

I was also there last week and I will add, it is great. This and Flame Tree were my favorite meals of the week (including table service).

Is a Schwarma similiar to a Gyro???? I love Gyro's and the description makes it sound very similar--right down to the Taziki sauce (yum!)

Last September the lines for the place were really long (and slow moving). The food was great though.

I always get the rotisserre chicken and have never been disappointed. Moist and tender...plus, I think they let me get a side of fries with it the last time (which the kids ate along with some of my chicken).

Yes it is. The lamb and chicken plate also included hummus, a roll, and the couscous with parsley. Everything is set out on the plate - you can use the roll to make a gyro.

YUMMY.

Thanks so much! Gyros are so hard to find-- I always take advantage of a chance to get one. I guess I need to figure this into the trip!!!
