Night all!
Just catching up before hitting the sack. Got in just a bit ago. DH and I saw Harry Potter at the late show after dinner with a friend.
ohana, I didn't want you to be right, but you are. Something just not as good about that movie. The humor stuck out at me....don't know if it was because it was a sore thumb or because it was pointed out, but it just didn't seem to belong. Even I missed a few details....and I have an awful memory and last read the book over a year ago! They never explained who Padfoot, Wormtail, Prongs, and Moony were....never told the significance of Harry's petronus being a stag.... Since I'm not big on details, I can't really lay my finger on it, but it was just different. Liked CC's ones better. Oh well. Still glad we saw it!
DH leaves again tomorrow for another 10 days or so

Yuck. Gets to go to Scotland, which I LOVE!! He'll bring me back a present, but I'd rather get to go with him

Kids would, too! He'll bring me some Cadbury's chocolate, though...YUM!!!
Why I don't got to the movies:
sitter--$5/hour for 3 extra hours = $15
tickets--1 military at $6.50 and one adult at $8.25 = $14.75
snacks--1 drink at $4 and 2 ice creams ($3 & $2.75) (out of M&M vending machine at theatre) = $9.75
TOTAL COST = $39.50
Cost of DVD when it comes out $18 (average).....and I can watch that as often as I want to!!!
No wonder I don't go to the movies...I can't afford it!!! $4 for a drink...step off! I go so seldom that I completely forgot to get snacks at the 7-11 and hide them in my purse! But you really shouldn't have to do that....
Well, morning comes early in this house! Off to bed...
Breakfast for you early risers (leftovers for you late risers!):
chocolate pancakes with caramel and chocolate syrup drizzle
chocolate covered strawberries
chocolate croissants from the Patisserie in Epcot's France

chocolate truffles for the truly indulgent
chocolate milk or hot chocolate
Yep...gonna be that kinda day!
