QOTD from a few days ago... I am over 40, have a cold and am quite grumpy. DW is PG (that is an 80's abrviation for Pregnant) and we have no fur kids, but a couple of Dragons... Since we have no life we spend way too much time here. I attended THE UNIVERSTITY (UTexas, Austin) and work for a small jewelry company. I own 500 DVC points, and love talking about them. I think after I post this, I will set up a DVC stand in the Traveler's thread... I was asked in this thread, but a true DVC Witness must go to the public. I'll bring a Dole Whip back with me, and a few Mickey Bars.

I have to admit, we've had the same dog name recognition problem as you did. Bill's name is actually Bilbo. We got him years before the Lord of the Rings ever came out and when I saw him, I said he looked like a hobbit due to his tiny legs and squat body. So Bilbo it was.

But no one seemed to know the name or ever heard of it. When I'd introduce him on the street and tell someone his name was Bilbo, they always, without fail, thought I was saying something dirty. Just replace the letter B with the letter D and you'll catch my drift.

So we slowly changed his name to Billy, than Bill. Of course, when he gets in trouble, his name then changes to Go To Your Room! (which he does. he slinks off to the kitchen and sits on his towel with a dejected look on his face and stays there until we say its ok).

(snorfle ) No wonder the girls like him so much.

Up until we got Beanie, it was my tradition to give my pets German names, like Otto and Fritz. Our first Bichon was named after my great Uncle Heinie. Yes, his name was Heinie. You gotta problem with that?

Eric graduated from elementary school today. sniff sniff. Even the principal, when talking about what a great class this is, got all verklempft.

They did a power point slide show (I think that's what it's called) with pictures of each of the kids and graphics that they chose. Each kid's slide indicated what they want to be when they grow up. Believe me, if you live in this area in about 10 years, you will never be without a veterinarian or a pro sports player. They will be a dime a dozen. When Eric's slide came up, there were a lot of oooo's and aaahhh's. His said that he wanted to be an anesthesiologist--and no, I'm not looking up the spelling.

Oh muy God, I love that kid. I love him like I love buttah. Speak amongst youahselves...

Afternoon everyone!! I hope everyone is having a good day!! I've taken this day as my resting day. I've been on the go all week....and Matt and I can't get together, so I'm staying home and lounging. The windows are open, I'm listening to music, I have a nice glass of water, and I'm going to read this story [color=339900]ibouncetoo[/color] wrote a while ago. Looks very interesting, it does. If anyone should want to talk to me(which you won't I'm sure) I'll be around in a little while

I've noticed that whenever someone posts and talks about someone else, they have their name is a specific color (I'm assuming the color is the color they chose, like I did yesterday). I'm just wondering how do you do that??

I'll sound smart and explain it to you!! Okay, if you go to this website, http://www.tagliarchy.com/color.htm , there is a list of everyone's name and their color. To the right of their color is a code that looks like [ b ][ color=whatever ]namehere[ /color ][ /b ] (just without the spaces) so if you want to comment on something someone said, find their name on the list, and copy the code, and then paste it into your post. It'll look like the code while you're writing, but after you post it'll be in the right color!! There's another way to do it, but I find the way I just explained to you eassier!! Hope you understand!! If not, RRBB can explain it some other time!!
