Anyway, thanks for all the advice everyone!!

I figured as much...

Now I feel bad, like a guilty thing. This really stinks...oh well. Who knows what will happen in the next 2-3 years!

I don't think he would do that because he would want the best for you.;)

I know, he really wouldn't. But after being raised an Aggie, and learning all the stuff that goes along with that, it's like it's imprinted on your soul. I just couldn't go there. No offense against anyone for UT or anything.

NC Belle, there is a saying, "I am rooting For either Texas or anyone playing against A&M" that pretty much sums up the rivalry for football. Since A&M is an agricultural school, they get a lot of more farm-types, hence the reputation for slowness. UT just has a rep for partying. I will say that from my experience most Canadians know how to party more than any of my old college buddies...

:bounce:

A&M isn't really that big of an agricultural school anymore. I don't really know what they are, if anything. They have so many different fields you can go into, from engineering, to medicine, to life sciences, to agricultural, to teaching, etc. etc.

Plus, we do have pretty good parties. Have you heard all the different traditions about Midnight Yell Practice? And at the football games? Yeah... that's what makes that school so awesome. They have so many traditions. The Aggie Spirit. I think I'll go write a brochure instead of lecturing ya'll. :p ;)

OK, and A&M has a lot more ROTC, and what is it called on the football team... The 8-man line for the first kickoff? I think they get 8 of the largest students they can fing for the first kickoff. their objective is to destroy as much of the other team as possible.... or some such nonesense.

No More Bonfire though, that is sad...

I heard that over many years :teeth: and a lot of Aggie jokes.

*Sorry if any Aggies were hurt or offended by any of my Pro University of TX comments.*

Yeah, they're building the Bonfire Memorial. It's looking pretty nice. They have these huge rectangle outlined, and they're supposedly one for each of the people that died, and they're facing that person's hometown. I thought that was a nice touch.

I'll have to ask my dad about the kick-off thing.

For the Corp of Cadets, I swear one of the rules has to be that if you're a guy, you have to be cute. I didn't see many of them because it was the summer term, but I did see a couple. Man.....that's all I'm gonna say...... no more.....

I was trying to avoid that path... I am actually trying to leave my personal feelings about A&M out of it... Again it really is a good school.

:bounce:

Okay, we can just totally drop this whole subject. I don't know what else I could say about it....

:wave2: back!!! Hilarious movie!!!!! :teeth: :teeth: But ah, I think I'm going to be sick. I hate movie theatre popcorn...why do I eat it when this happens every time?! :crazy2:

Yes, I am boy crazy. :teeth: :teeth: Welcome to the club!! ;) :teeth:

I confess I skimmed these last pages because they seem to talk of college what-not. I hear this 24/7 from my family so I've decided on saving myself. :D :smooth:

Yay. dinner. I need something to get this taste out of my mouth
