Ok, I'm caught up.

48% snob here. Sometimes I feel snobbier than that, sometimes way less. I think I am more of a personality snob than anything. I make my accessment by how a person acts more than how they look, etc.

For instance, the biggest snobs I know, NP and Don, rank about the lowest on my scale.

I need to get my oil changed today and I feel the need to buy more plants and mulch for the yard.

I need some creative juice, if anybody has some extra laying around that they aren't using. Holly is doing a class project. She is building a habitat for her chosen animal, the <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_5_14.gif' border=0></a>. It needed a box for it's home, I got a Styrofoam cooler. Now it needs snow and ice and all I've come up with are tissues and cottonballs, maybe sugar cubes. Also something we can make look like water. Nothing too big. It also had to have it's food source. I got these really cute little fish that are actually bait. Very cute.

I want to get a picture of Daniel, he's gotten to the age where he doesn't pose as much. When I do, you can replace this one with it. Is that OK?

I have a question. I am going to WalMart today. They can take old negatives and put them on CD. What I don't know is can they take old photos and put them on CD? Anybody out there know? If so, I will take a baby picture of me to be put on for the contest.

I'm going to need an answer to this one pretty quick. Guess I could pick up the phone and call them...

Sure, just let me know which one you want to put in its place. It's no problem.

I think they can scan photos to put onto CD. I don't see why not. If you don't feel like calling first - cuz I know I'm always on hold with them forever - you can always take the pic with you and ask when you get there.

finally all caught up... I am working from home today.. so no one to watch onver my shoulder today..

So i am making breakfast ..how about chocolate scrambled eggs, hash browns with chocolate chips, onions and peppers, fresh squeezed oj, starbucks latte, and omelettes made to order..

Eric is finishing his science project that is due today.. not really last minute as he doesn't start school until 9 am so he has another hour to write the report.. ( is there a sacrastic, tongue in cheek smiley??, I need it..hmm..)

New QOTD - since we heard the RRBB and ohanafamily, how he proposed story.. what about everyone else's story??


Ours was not very romantic... DH was being considered for a promotion to the UK, he asked me if I would go with him and I agreed. So we decided that we would get married so I could get benefits while we were there. ( yes I think there would be lots of benefits.. tee hee) anyway.. he ended up not taking the transfer.. so we pushed the marriage talk to another day..
Then I got a job offer to move to Philadelphia and at the same time both my Dad and his mother went into the hospital. Both we diagnosed with cancer. So Dh decided that we had better get married soon while they were still alive and to keep me in Chi...

so his proposal was.. he looked at me anad said "You know we better get married soon before our parents are died, wantta do it now??"

Morning gang!

I think my cold is mostly gone and so I'm going for a walk this morning. First time I've felt like expending any extra energy. Going to head in to the station a little earlier today also, have catching up to do there since I missed a couple of days last week and yesterday was the NBC fall presentation that ate up three hours of my day. Couple of interesting new shows coming up in September AND we got to see the ENTIRE premiere episode of "Joey", Matt LaBlanc's new series. I laughed....I have hopes for it! (As does NBC!)

Checking in on my marathon training thread, then must hit the shower....OH after breakfast in the tea house!

Thanks for breakfast Danauk. It sure is peaceful out here in the Japanese garden. I'm so enjoying sitting in the tea hut, sipping my juice and listening to the gurgle of the stream water running over the rocks. Just wonderful!!!

real quick then off to the doc. will check back later. but for water, use some blue saran wrap, It will look see thru and you can put the fish under it. just a thought. gotta run. thanks for the well wishes for the crudmaster!!

Thanks for the chocolate eggs and hash browns geffric. I remember those days of school reports procrastination. When I was in 7th grade I had a report due that I didn't start on until the night before. I was up nearly all night - finally finished and went to bed around 5:00, expecting to be woken up 2 hours later. Turns out the rain turned to snow after I fell into bed so school was cancelled that day. (We ended up with about a foot of snow, something that is totally out of the ordinary here.)

Glad your feeling better [COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR]. It's always so much work to catch up when you've been out for even a day or two. Enjoy your walk.

Great minds (and beauties ) think alike. I looked yesterday for blue saran wrap, they had green, violet and rose. Thinking about using the green if I can't get blue unless someone else has an idea...
