BTW, DHB, I'm afraid to ask, but why did you think of me when you saw Shrek 2?

Can't tell you. If anyone else sees it & there is something that reminds you of Barb. Don't tell her. I want her to be as surprised as I was. I laughed out loud!!!

Could I be any more cryptic???

Does Shrek turn into a beautiful orange diva, while member of the Tagliarchy worship and serve her? :scratchin

OK, I'm back from the theatre again. Tonights show was OK, a few mistakes but nothing an audience would notice!!

OK, back to QOTD: I've never dressed up for Halloween. We don't really do anything for it over here. A few kids do dress up and trick or treat but not many. We are not allowed to do anything to do with Halloween in school (not even alowed to mention it). Schools in England follow a Christian basis (we do teach other religions as culture in our religious education lessons as well) and we are supposed to have a collective act of worship every day. Children can be withdrawn from this if their parents ask but not many are. The education system in our country is very different to that in America. Saying that we did have a Halloween disco this year at school - we were not allowed to advertise it as such, it was advertised as a fancy dress disco, but we decorated the hall with cobwebs, skeletons etc!! One of my kids came dressed as a mummy, he was wrapped in toilet roll from head to foot!!

So what is everyone else doing this evening? I'll be up for a while longer.

OK, so I finally get logged on to my computer for a while and no one is around!! I am not offended, really :snooty: :charac2: :charac2:

So I guess I might was well go to bed!!
Good night all,

If we ever have kids the will NOT be watching any Teletubbies. Did you hear me? NO TELETUBBIES IN THIS HOUSE! And that's my final answer!!!
uh huh, right. Just like my DH said no Barney. We have all kinds of the big purple dinosaur movies. I wouldn't change it for the world. My baby likes Teletubbies too and while I think it's STUPID, it makes him happy and that, my friends, is what it's all about!

We have lots of Disney movies too, but they get tired of it and want something different that they can relate to and at age 1...they really don't relate to story lines. Tubbies are 30min of nothingness that peeks their interest and it allows me to do other things. You'll see.

At least right now I do ::yes:: Walt is all I can handle most days, but I have a DH and DD to handle, too, so I'm stretched PRETTY thin....maybe in a few years we'll give it another shot. (See...I get *VERY* ill during pregnancy...vomit 7.5-8.5 months of it.....DH rarely gets near me for fear of making it worse....maybe that's why my kids are so cute....to keep me from killing them after all the yuck they put me through while I was pregnant with them.....hmmm....good theory, anyway ::yes:: )
kadaten not to worry....llebrekniT is always trying to get someone here to have a baby. Geesh!

I too got morning sickness both pregnancies, the whole pregnancy! The looks, the smells, the thoughts, they all made me

qotd Halloween costume
A smurf, face painted blue, white gloves and pants.

QOTDs:

Worst Halloween Costume:

Dressed as an angel freshman year of college and glued glitter all over...yes, alcohol was involved :(

Best Halloween Costume:

Dressed as a black cat junior year of college with black ears, black tail and drew black nose and whiskers on my face. Went to a fraternity party and made out (kissing only) with the cutest guy there on the back steps. Afterwards, when we came back to join the party, all my black makeup was smudged all over his face.....everyone knew what we'd been doing:rolleyes: ....funny now but soooo embarassing then.....yes, even more alcohol involved!

Same here, can't stand a ripe, red tomato to this day......loved them before I was preggers with Jordan ::yes::

Qotd: I only dressed up a couple of times: Batgirl (birthday gift) , teenager, and maybe raggedy ann. I had pumpkin shaped birthday cakes and ghost cakes for my early childhood birthdays.

Best Halloween Costume, won 500.00:
Creative Imagination must be used here. A News Flasher .
I cut up strips of newspaper and taped them all over a straw hat and an overcoat. Under the overcoat, had a bathing suit on and would flash people. It was well received.

Great costume idea!

BUT.......YOU could do that with your cute little figure, but if I did that, and people saw me in a swimsuit, trust me, it would NOT be well received ;)

They'd probably PAY me $500 just to keep covered up! ::yes::

so since I know you are all waiting with bated breath...

Lilly dressed up in a long slip and wore a big gray beard and she was ...

a Freudian Slip!!
