Sorry I wasn't around to play tonight....went to the movies.

So, I have a bone to pick with all the goils who saw "Troy". Everybody's been yabbering....Ohhhhh Orland.....Ohhhhh Brad....Ohhhhhhh Eric.....HELLO! No one told me Sean Bean is in this movie! This MAN, puts the others to shame. When the movie starts there is a voice-over narration....and I'm sitting in the theater thinking, "Nice pipes, this guy sounds like Sean". Then a little ways into the movie...there he is. Oh, yummmy yummmy. Now I have to go watch LOR:Fellowship of the Ring so I can enjoy some more of him.

Morning all, Full English cooked breakfasts are available in the English tea garden, this morning it does contain black pudding as my parents are still here and my dad and Pete like it!! However you guys don't have to eat it if you don't want to!

The whole series box set is available for £58.97 (41% off origional price) or you can get individual DVD's for £14.24. There are 2 shows per DVD. Is your DVD player multi region? Over here DVD's are region 2 where as USA is region 1. When we bought our DVD players (plus the one I bought for my school) I made sure they were multi region so that we could watch American DVD's too. And yes Sharpe was supposed to be a Yorkshire man where I am from. I think some of the scenes were shot near where my parents holiday home is. Have you seen the Harry Potter films? Hogwarts station is the actual station near my parents holiday home which I have used quite a few times. The Hogwarts express runs along that line as well (quite a few of my American friends think it is quite cool that I have ridden the Hogwarts express!!) When I was at university they used to use our grounds to film some TV series. Quite a few times we were asked to walk across a court yard or just sit on a bench for a few minutes whilst they filmed something!

So what do people have planned for today? Hopefully Pete will get the final section of wall built for the water fall. Then tomorrow when the wall has set we will be able to put the soil back in and finally put the water falls in. The pond is looking a little green at the moment because the water has not been flowing around!!

Oh, well I'll be back later. Breakfast has just been served.

Morning all! Missed you yesterday due to my garage sale and being so bone-tired afterwards!! Went well, though....the 3 families made over $900....of course only $335 was mine but I bought $115 of stuff from one of the other families (yard equipement we REALLY needed...mantis tiller, edger, hedgetrimmers, oh....and a Sony Vaio laptop for $50!! Wireless internet...here I come!!) so I only netted $220 which DH dutifully took away and put in our "Disney trip casserole dish/piggy bank" for our 10th anniversary trip next year What a good boy!

Well, off to start the day. DH is installing our new over-the-range microwave. The handle was broken on the old one and I know the buyer next year will insist on it being replaced, so we're replacing it now so we can enjoy a working appliance, too, rather than pay for it a week before we move out! And, will sell the old one that works perfectly fine at a garage sale next weekend. We're putting our leftovers out again since they're having a neighborhood-wide sale next weekend...I don't have to pay for another ad!

After he gets it installed, we're going to a war memorial here in town. Being a military family, we always mark Veteran's Day and Memorial Day by visiting some relevant memorial. Veteran's Day last year we went to see the Cole Memorial that's on base where DH works. The one we're visiting today the area Veteran's Memorial...
