Lewski - If I read you right, you're not doing Christmas after all. I don't blame you ... I'd really love to see WDW dressed up for the holidays, but I won't do it until Katie is in college and I can go for my birthday in mid-December BEFORE it gets really crowded. Or is it crowded straight through from Thanksgiving to New Years?
DH and DD15 are building a trebuchet tonight. QOTD: who knows what that is and how to build one?
A trebuchet is a catapult! To build it, do a nice Google search and follow the directions

What do I win? What do I win?
As for December crowds....it's actually pretty dead from the Monday after Turkey Day until the Friday most schools get out for the Christmas break. That Saturday there are a few more, Sunday is getting busy, and Monday of Christmas week is pretty unpleasant! It keeps building until Christmas Day when I hear it's the worst Christmas Day to New Year's Day.
We like going early December....all the decorations are up,
MVMCP is running, the holiday shows are on, etc. If you go in that time period but pretty close to school being out, they even start running the Christmas parade during regular hours and not just at MVMCP
We spent New Year's Eve 1999/New Year's Day 2000 in the World...that night specifically at Epcot. It was an experience like no other

FABULOUS! But not eager to encounter those kind of crowds any time soon.... The real question is whether you're happy just being there or whether you actually want to do the rides! If you're happy just being there, go whenever. If you want to do rides, avoid that week like the plague!!
