WOW!!! That's pretty straight on...AMAZING. At first I was going to say except for the "simple psychologically speaking" part, but since it's psychologically speaking, it's right on. Everything black or white for him...there is no gray area...gray is the color of the paint on the boat and nothing else. He still harbors a grudge against some kid who "wronged" him in 7th grade....that's pretty "simple" in my book... Still a great guy, though, and we do balance nicelyOriginally posted by Bichon Barb
PISCES AND ARIES
SUN in PISCES with ARIES Aries is more decisive and direct, but also somewhat more naive and simple psychologically speaking) than Pisces is. You two can balance one another nicely. Aries depends on Pisces 's sensitivity and gentleness to soothe, heal, and provide a sanctuary from the world of competing and achieving.Pisces , on the other hand, admires and probably needs Aries' forthrightness, honesty, and willingness to act boldly. Pisces is more of a giver, and can be very self-denying, while Aries is self-absorbed, and can unintentionally take advantage of Pisces' generosity. Aries also lacks tact and subtlety sometimes, and inadvertently wounds Pisces' tender feelings.

For our 8th anniversary last year (traditionally the "bronze" anniversary) DH and I went to a daylily farm on the Eastern shore of VA and bought lots of them to make ourselves a "bronze garden"
Can't wait to see them all in bloom this year! I don't really love orange flowers (sorry...know you like the orange chair and all) but it's the theme....had to go with it
Well, when I was 5 or 6 a teenager was kidnapped from the end of her driveway 5 miles down the road from me (we lived WAY out in the country....we had to pass her house to get to civilization) as she was getting the mail. They thought a local did it, so there was a roadblock on the way to/from our house for several weeks. Since they were looking for the kidnapper/murderer, we felt better having them there[BQOTD: even been in a roadblock [/B]

Very excited about that. Other than those two trees, we have NO trees. Thanks! I'll give him the notes and send him to the church...then he'll think us Catholics are even weirder!! (That whole transsubstantiation thing gives him the creeps.) Ober...whatever is the place with the Passion Play, but not this yearOriginally posted by cheeringmom
hmmm I think Oberamergau (sp?) is famous for the Passion Play held every 10 years. And if I recall they do a lot of wood carvings there. Maybe he can pick you up something made from wood??? there is always crystal!!! There is this neat church there where your dh can see an "incorruptable" A body in a glass coffin that is supposed to be "in tact" not decomposed etc. But it didn't work. She is pretty decomposed. She has a beautiful dress on though!! I believe she is a saint but can't remember her name
He had to walk into town to find a payphone to call me (couldn't get the hotel phone to dial international!?!) and said the whole town close up at 6pm. He was talking to me at 7pm his time and the town was deserted, it was snowing and dark, and he had to walk back up the hill to get back to the school
But he wanted to make sure he called as he didn't want me to worry...what a great DH
AKA Rain Lily, although I did not know that before looking it up.Originally posted by iluvtink
Wow, I think you did great, even though I have no clue what Habranthus is and I am about to look it up!
Just tell 'em I'm Catholic (I am!!) and all will be alrightOriginally posted by Lewski709
More wierd Catholics.....well, that's me too. Imagine telling my church friends about meeting youin's and going to Disney with any of you. Bwaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, they'd all pray for me and my soul.
Now I don't know about Barb, though....She goes to a Catholic church, as her DH is Catholic. I think we are all good. What are the chances?Originally posted by kadaten

Sorry to ramble. Betcha wish you hadn't asked how I was, huh?
Glad your mom is feeling a little better....walking and real food are BIG improvements in my book!
Sorry if I worried you!
