Do you have a favourite flavour?

I'm a lightweight user. I tend to gravitate towards easy to use distros with nice interfaces. It's no surpsise that I prefer Ubuntu, Zorin, Elementary and as a runner up, Mint.

I’m not a heavy user but my dad was hooked on Linux.
From what I've learned in (limited) dabbling, Linux, especially those I named, is brilliant for two types of people. Obviously, code-heads, people who like to dabble in code. Not me. It is ALSO for people who are "casual" users. If you stick to the software they give you and the easy to install stuff on their App Stores, Linux can be far simpler - and arguably prettier - than Windows or even the Mac. Oh, and it's good for old hardware setups that, say, still run on Windows '95 etc - the power boost Linux can give allows old systems to become useful again.

I manage about 30 Redhat Linux 8 servers at work. It is a Gov agency, so just about all the Linux is Redhat, though there are a few Ubuntu's out there.
