PISCES AND ARIES

SUN in PISCES with ARIES Aries is more decisive and direct, but also somewhat more naive and simple psychologically speaking) than Pisces is. You two can balance one another nicely. Aries depends on Pisces 's sensitivity and gentleness to soothe, heal, and provide a sanctuary from the world of competing and achieving.Pisces , on the other hand, admires and probably needs Aries' forthrightness, honesty, and willingness to act boldly. Pisces is more of a giver, and can be very self-denying, while Aries is self-absorbed, and can unintentionally take advantage of Pisces' generosity. Aries also lacks tact and subtlety sometimes, and inadvertently wounds Pisces' tender feelings.
WOW!!! That's pretty straight on...AMAZING. At first I was going to say except for the "simple psychologically speaking" part, but since it's psychologically speaking, it's right on. Everything black or white for him...there is no gray area...gray is the color of the paint on the boat and nothing else. He still harbors a grudge against some kid who "wronged" him in 7th grade....that's pretty "simple" in my book... Still a great guy, though, and we do balance nicely :)

Barb Thanks for the chart and the PM.

Lewski I don't know much about gardening, but I do know this: you can't go wrong with daylilies!! Gotta love 'em :) For our 8th anniversary last year (traditionally the "bronze" anniversary) DH and I went to a daylily farm on the Eastern shore of VA and bought lots of them to make ourselves a "bronze garden" :) Can't wait to see them all in bloom this year! I don't really love orange flowers (sorry...know you like the orange chair and all) but it's the theme....had to go with it ;)

[BQOTD: even been in a roadblock
Well, when I was 5 or 6 a teenager was kidnapped from the end of her driveway 5 miles down the road from me (we lived WAY out in the country....we had to pass her house to get to civilization) as she was getting the mail. They thought a local did it, so there was a roadblock on the way to/from our house for several weeks. Since they were looking for the kidnapper/murderer, we felt better having them there :(

Still working on the kitchen ceiling. 80% done. Whew.

iluvtink I have a weeping cherry. I planted it, well one, two years ago. Last summer, some dear heart walking down the sidewalk pulled it out. So I got another and planted it. Well, a snowplow going by broke part of the top of it off. It survived, but is merely a twig. No green whatsoever. If God's willing, maybe this year it will grow.

On the other hand, 3yrs ago at the end of the season.....I got an Apple tree from Franks for 5.00. It is thriving. For the last 3yrs, it bloomed in the fall. Why? I think it was confused, like a new baby has night and day mixed up. HOWEVER, right now it has the most beautiful white fowers. It has matured and knows the seasons correctly now. :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc Very excited about that. Other than those two trees, we have NO trees.

I planted 4 spirea 3yrs ago as well. They are coming in nicely. 3 grass plants, 2 are doing well. Last year, I planted 3 mums on the side of the house and 4 in front. The 3 on the side were larger and I think they will come back. The other 4..........gone I think.

That's all the landscaping I have.

I hope the weekend agrees and I can put the edging and plant the bulbs.

Back to painting.

Thanks for scraping, Depply! You did GREAT!

Barb aren't you working on me and DH's signs? Scorpio and Libra, I think. His is 10/1.

hmmm I think Oberamergau (sp?) is famous for the Passion Play held every 10 years. And if I recall they do a lot of wood carvings there. Maybe he can pick you up something made from wood??? there is always crystal!!! There is this neat church there where your dh can see an "incorruptable" A body in a glass coffin that is supposed to be "in tact" not decomposed etc. But it didn't work. She is pretty decomposed. She has a beautiful dress on though!! I believe she is a saint but can't remember her name
Thanks! I'll give him the notes and send him to the church...then he'll think us Catholics are even weirder!! (That whole transsubstantiation thing gives him the creeps.) Ober...whatever is the place with the Passion Play, but not this year :) He had to walk into town to find a payphone to call me (couldn't get the hotel phone to dial international!?!) and said the whole town close up at 6pm. He was talking to me at 7pm his time and the town was deserted, it was snowing and dark, and he had to walk back up the hill to get back to the school :) But he wanted to make sure he called as he didn't want me to worry...what a great DH :)

More wierd Catholics.....well, that's me too. Imagine telling my church friends about meeting youin's and going to Disney with any of you. Bwaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, they'd all pray for me and my soul.

AKA Rain Lily, although I did not know that before looking it up.

Rainlilies get their name because they bloom in response to rain not just irrigation. Many people try to force them to bloom by letting them dry out and then watering them. This produces a few blooms, but nothing like a good rain. There are many theories on the effect of rain on the blooming of rainlilies including changes in barometric pressure and ozone in the rainwater. Or maybe it’s just a mystery of nature.

She goes to a Catholic church, as her DH is Catholic. I think we are all good. What are the chances?

It's sleepy time now. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_8_3.gif' border=0></a>

The ceiling is done. Whew. Like momma says, when you get an idea in your head......you do it. So this am, I wanted to meet DH at MENARDS to get some stuff and thought.........hmmm that ceiling really needs texturizing and painting. I'll do it tonight. 3hrs later, whhhhhhhaaaaaaaa laaaaaaaaa. I am such a doer. Now, if the weather will cooperate, that flower garden may be done before the weekend.

Don't chat too much tomorrow.

Ok I think I am alone here tonight ...... I guess I will drag myself over to some other threads

Hey everyone!

iluvtink, I thought American Idol was good. I thought Latoya was the best followed by Jasmine. I thought the first girl, Diana, was really good too. Big Red is the pits. They gotta give that guy the boot. He is just in way over his head. I feel bad for him cuz he stinks so bad. I also think it was kind of unfair how they showed Fantasia's daughter while she was performing, then let her up on the stage.

Lewski709 & Depplyinluv, when will you be here to scrape the ceiling in my bathroom?

Mad4Mickey, your son sounds like one heck of a wrestler! I'd hate to see you if he was 2nd in the state. You'd be pounding those martinis by the pitcher. ;)

I wonder what ibouncetoo is doing right now....

ohanafamily, do you have Song of the South on DVD? My DH wants it so bad, but it's not available in the U.S, right? Any ideas where I could get it?

Well, it's almost time for Jimmy Kimmel Live & I think I'ma gonna watch it. I love him, he is so funny.

Good night everyone

DHB how are you ? Yes I am proud just a little( he is very good.)

I'm okey dokey.

My mom is still in the hospital. They took out her catheter (sp?) today, so she is up & around a lot more. DS-Josh & DD-Lainie & I went to see her twice today. We took a walk down the hallway with her. Her spirits are definitely up which is great. I talked to her a little while ago & she was mad because she had a different nurse tonight & he moved the IV pole thingy to the other side of the bed & plugged it in, so now she has to get up, unplug it & take it all the way around the bed whenever she has to use the bathroom.....which is alot since they are still giving her lots of fluids through the IV. I told her to tell him that she has to pee every 2 hours (which is true) & the way he has it set up is a pain. I hope she called him in & asked him to switch it back. Guess I'll have to wait until morning to find out.

llebrekniT & Ella are going to come up tomorrow & we are going to take my mom some lunch as she is eating solid food now & the hospital food stinks.

Sorry to ramble. Betcha wish you hadn't asked how I was, huh?

Deadheadbelle Well, I didn't ask, but I'm always happy to listen anyway, as is everyone else here :) Glad your mom is feeling a little better....walking and real food are BIG improvements in my book!

ohanafamily There you go again, hoarding all your PM's!! Repeat after me: "I will clean out my box. I will clean out my box. I will clean out my box." Ok, now that that's done...just wanted to tell you I don't hate you and see you in the hot tub at Rick's party :) Sorry if I worried you! :p

I've never been!!! Barb and Lewski, are you planning on going? Oh how I wish I knew if I could go with you guys yet!!!

Hi Everyone! Stranger here checking in! Cheeringmom reminded me to stop by and say hi! I just can't ever keep up with all the gabbing here anymore! I am also glad that there was no need for another move! The Island is quite nice!

I am still messing around with my back. I had abnormal EMG's and then the neurologist wanted me to get a pelvic cat scan to rule out a tumor pushing on the nerves. This was very traumatic and scarey for me. Fortunately, all was fine and now I am having injections in my back again (the third on Thursday). So, anyhoo, I am so glad to see the TAGLIARCHY is still keeping busy on page one!

I will check in later on. Love ya, dear pals! <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/11/11_1_203.gif' border=0></a>
