NC Beast just e-mail bad news---his approved May request was denied--so we might reschedule for June, July, or maybe October.

Sorry, ohana and RRBB, we have to cancel our CP breakfast. We were looking foward to it too.

I just got caught up in the posts.

NC Beast is a System Admin. for EDS on two accounts. We thought he had his leave approved last week. Oh well, we go try May 30 or go maybe for anniversary in July (7/6). I wouldn't mind going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on my birthday (Oct. 28). But, we have to be in Boston on Nov. 5 & 6 for my sister's wedding. On the bright side, we may be able to get more money saved for extras. We decided to pick May because I received a post card discount from Disney.

NC Beast needs lots of PD and prayers--he forgot he was suppose to go work on his usual night off.

I hope to put up a new counter soon.

Hey! How did you get a copy of Song of the South??? I tried to find one here and they just aren't available....apparently they're not politically correct.

DHB--I hope your mom gets on her feet real soon--its sounds like everything is healing better.

Mad4Mickey--your nephew's picture keeps me smiling every time I see it----as well as other TAGs' kids and of course Dragons .


I feel so bad for NC Beast. He really needs to have extra fun---it sometimes feels like his new bosses raises false hopes. He was real hurt by seeing his close friends get laid off and knowing he barely kept his job. Maybe a company like Disney will hire him and let him get to be a super computer nerd/geek. He loves a challenge.

I hope we get a better offer from Disney on a moderate hotel. I can always dream about a deluxe. I not giving up hope on a wdw trip this year. We are so overdue on the magic. Maybe, I get to try for CRT for breakfast. I could have extra time to become Super Commando Belle and write stories like Delswife. I know better things are going to happen. Things like this ca only make us stronger.

Oddball---Since you posted on the picks for Talladega thread...I think your father knows some of my extend family (my dad's cousins and their families work at the track during the race week...either he knows some or is a relative). My dad's side has lived in the Talladega area for generations. I haven't been there in seven years. I don't know a lot of them well though.

Oddball, let me know if anyone knew Sleepy (my granddaddy's nickname).

Well, I better get dress and take Jessie out before getting NC Beast--he's done around 9 AM eastern.

Well, they found her body a few weeks later....the guy was eventually caught, but only after he nabbed another little girl and killed her, too. I'm pretty sure he's still in jail. It was WAY scary at the time because it was the first week of summer break and my brother and I were at home alone....I was about 6 and he was about 10, and they broke into all the local news stations to talk about it....the reporter was standing in front of her house and we were like "OMG!! That's right down the road!!". This was WAY out in the country....we never even had a lock on our door until I was in high school...it was never needed! So it was out of the blue and very frightening.... Needless to say, we weren't left home alone very much after that '

Tigger Fans! When I asked about Song of the South someone sent me to www.songofthesouthdvd.com I haven't ordered from there yet, but will probably do so.... Anyone know if this is technically legal? DH won't even let me pay a cleaning lady cash under the table, so not sure if he'll like me ordering if it's not legal....

Actually Depplyinluv, he does that too. The ONE thing that Bill does that's so incredibly embarrassing is... well, wait a minute. Let me preced that story with one that might explain it:

Joe just left the apartment to take Bill for a walk. They JUST left and were gone for about 15 seconds when I heard Joe scream, then Bill howl then whine then bark, then the front door flew open with the two of them running like Satan was after them.

I asked what happened. There's a light post just outside the brownstone we live in that Bill has dubbed his own. It's his first pee-mail stop. While he was doing his business, a big white cat flew out from under a car, jumped on his head and flew into the night, hissing and spitting. Scared the bejesus out of him.

That point forward, we've seen the white cat over the years and have dubbed it Bill's Evil Archnemesis.

Now moving forward to the orginal story: At the end of the block, slightly hidden by a little bush, is a big white rock. You can see where this is going. Bill now lunges and barks and growls at the rock, thinking it's the Evil Archnemesis. So we try to avoid going to that part of the block simply because it's embarrassing when our neighbor's see Bill in attack mode. At a rock.

Big bag of dumb, I'm telling ya.

Deadheadbelle and Tigger Fans!, ohanafamily has a copy of Song of the South on Laser Disc. The songs have Japanese - or is it Chinese - subtitles, but who cares. (He also bought the DVD from one of those companies on the internet but the quality isn't that great.)

[COLOR=009966]NC Belle[/COLOR], I'm so sorry to hear that your trip got cancelled. That really bites. I always hated being at the mercy of someone else's whim when it came to scheduling vacations and whatnot. We'll just have to try to schedule overlapping trips some other time.
