kadaten SOG looks like a great option, if you go. Yeah, can we walk to get the monorail?

Bichon Barb, girls are somehow involved. Boys think farting is a game...they don't care about stinkin.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_15_6.gif' border=0></a>

Great pics Danauk!

Danauk, those photos are a real treat. Thank you. I'm going to have to remember what page they are on so that I can show them to DH when he gets home tomorrow.

Lewski, love that smilie. :p I reminds me of my boys (DH included). Check this out. As we were driving there, my 13 year old neighbor said he should have put some deodorant on. Eric says, "Oh, I put some on". I asked him what the heck he need deodorant for. He says he gets BO. Okay, whatever. It's hard to believe that he is going into middle school in the fall. :(

Oh and Danauk, he's gotten into his father's aftershave before. He overdid it, and I think he was embarrassed. He hasn't done it since. :teeth:

I hope everything is okay with DHB and TB. I wish I lived nearby. I'd take the kids. Like I said, things are slow in the ER. I couldn't imagine hanging around there with toddlers. :(

Has anyone seen Simon "Towel boy" Baker ?? Last I saw he was trying to get all the girls upstairs to thier rooms last night .;)
Me being married and all never asked fo ra escort up the stairs :p

Thanks for the great party last night for Cadburysmom and I . It was great but I almost didnt make it to work on time this morning.

Our clothes dryer went out this morning so off to Sears we go .See you guys tonight

OK, I gotta say this...

Mad4Mickey, you can come over and use ours, RRBB assures me that it works, and my underpants always smell April Fresh when they return to my drawer from the Hungry Hungry Hamper, But I have never been able to make that machine or the Washing machine work right.....

I admit it, I am a man and am Laundry Challenged! ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

:bounce:

LOLOLOL You know Ohanna my son asked me when I was going to get the new dryer because he needs his lucky underwear for Wrestling practice on Monday . I will tell him you will let us use your dryer and let him wear some of your "April Fresh" underpants ....

OH hey guys I forgot to ask but has anyone ever heard of something called H Palory ? I had to take a test for that on Thursday at the DR. They think maybe I have this and it is not all about my ulcers and acid reflux . Good grief I have become one of the people they were talking about having a condition and then asking on the DIS about them LOL
Oh well it was the same thread that pointed out we are a "Cliquw"

Sorry Kadaten. I must have missed your posts earlier--I was too enthralled in airfaire. ;)

SOG is something to think about if you are going--which I hope you can! Can you walk to the monorail at the Poly?

Last Feb when we were at WDW, my in laws came and stayed with us a couple of nights. One of those nights Rob and I went out alone. We did a monorail happy hour run. It was fun. We parked at the Contemp, rode over to Poly, had one drink there, then rode over to GF, had one there, and then had dinner at the California Grill! :Pinkbounc That night was great! Expensive, but great!
Yes, you can! Do it all the time :) It's easier to deal with the strollers...walk to monorail, roll on, ride, roll off....rather than wait for bus, unpack stroller, fold stroller, ride bus, get off, unfold stroller, repack stroller, put the kids back in....

Your "drinking around the lagoon" sounds like fun :)

In some respects he thinks he's still a bachelor

Hey...gotta say....I'd LOVE to be taken out as much as you!! But that would mean having to get a sitter, and then dinner is double what it would have been (have to pay the sitter). And actually, we JUST got a sitter....been here 19 months....our first time using her will be May 21:( She comes that highly recommended....she's busy....we have a trip before then, then DH has more travel...then she's already booked....if I love her, I'll try to schedule her for every Friday she's free from now 'til Christmas!!

Well, talking to myself here....

La di da...

There's the door. Neighbors are here for Trading Spaces. And they brought dinner :)

Back later :)

Just thought I'd check in. I'm in the middle of "Under the Tuscan Sun". What a great movie so far. :Pinkbounc

Mad4Mickey, never heard of it. :scratchin I didn't know you suffer from tummy problems. :( Well, if you do get a diagnosis, hopefully this is something that can be treated and you will be symptom free. :Pinkbounc ::yes::

Kadaten, regarding the sitter thing, it gets easier as the kids get older. When mine were little, my only babysitters were my parents and Rob's, and Rob's parents are gone to Florida half the year. I hated having to ask my parents to watch the boys every time we wanted to go to dinner or something.

Back to the movie...

I'm popping in to give you guys an update, only I really can't tell you much unfortunately. This ended up being really long, feel free to skip to the end if you like, as I said, I don't have much news, unless you're really bored, you can just skip this.

To recap, she went to the ER about 4 am today with intense pain. She had already taken two Percoset's (horribly mis-spelled) and it wasn't having any effect. They started giving her doses of Demoral, she continued with the pain. They contacted her surgeon who wanted her transported to the hospital he was at so he could examine her. She had already been given 4 shots of Demoral, but they weren't lasting long.

They transported her to the ER at the hospital in Lex. DHB met her there. Her doctor was to arrive within 45 minutes, this was at about 10:00 am.

DHB has the greatest MIL (her DH's mom) in the world, I'll let her fill in more of the story later, but she showed up at some point. For a long time they denied my MIL any more pain med., but DHB wore them down finally and they gave her a little. My MIL was pleading with everybody to please, please give her something, she was somewhat loopy, but was saying "how could anybody let someone just suffer like this, this is so cruel...", and on and on. Poor DHB, it really ripped her apart to watch this.

At 3:30 DHB's MIL decided they had waited long enough and went up to a nurse (who really had no idea what was going on because she just got there) and said "OK, I think if the doc. isn't here in 1/2 hour we are going to need to look into some legal action" or something like that. I LOVE this woman! Anyway, DHB said the doc. got there at 3:58.

He said she could have one of two things going on and she would need to be sent across town to another hospital:eek: to do anything about it. Mind you they sent her to this hospital because that was where he was and then he didn't even show for 6 hours!

We were on our way to the hospital at that point, but since they would be getting her ready to transport we decided to go to a restaurant near the hospital and get dinner before we went over, we would probably arrive at the same time. DHB grabbed up her family and met us at the restaurant.

We went to the hospital, NO DMIL! She hadn't arrived yet. So I called the other hospital and they said she was still there, waiting to be transported. It had been 2 hours since they said they would be transporting her. I asked what the status of that was? They said they would check, hold on. They came back on the line and said they would need to call the transport people and see when they could get her! I don't think they had even called them until that minute.

Anyway, talked to FIL and told him we would be at DHB's (which is practically next door to the hospital) because by the time we drove back across town we would probably cross paths and the babies weren't really ER waiting room material.

So, over to DHB's house and then back to the hospital again.

This time we actually saw MIL in the radiology room as we walked down the hall. They needed to stick a scope down her throat to see if they could repair the clip they believed had come loose. If not they would have to open her up, pretty much all the way open her up, to look around and see what the deal is.

We (the kids and I) stayed until I knew it was getting close to the time that Ella would loose it and make a scene and we were in an area where there aren't supposed to be any kids. DH stayed and FIL will bring him home when MIL is settled as they have said that she will be passed out for quite a while afterwards.

I still know nothing at this point.

Greetings from the Gaylord Palms! This resort is incredible...the nicest thing being a computer with unlimited internet access!!!!!
Well, my little Taglikins, the first surprise of the trip was at check in when we discovered we got a Jr. Executive Suite! We are in the Everglades section and our balcony overlooks lush gardens full of tropical plants and real live alligators! You know how they post the room rates on the doors? (and how they are the very highest rate you'd pay) Well this suite is listed at 500 smackaroonies. Priceline....$85 plus tax and $10 resort fee. After walking all around the place, checking out the two pools, restaurants and bars guess where we had dinner?

...Cape May! I couldn't stand not hitting Disney property right away.

The Gaylord Palms is just down the street from Pop Century, so it is very convenient for WDW.

We are brewing some coffee for our swiss mocha bedtime treat, will sit on the balcony and enjoy that before heading off to dreamland. May take a few moments to see what you all have been up to today. Check in with you next Saturday.

Tink Backwards:hug: sorry about your MIL . Wish I was there to help you guys with the kids.

IBounnce I am :crazy2: with envy right now HAVE A GREAT TRIP !

Don't know if anyone answered you yet. Go to USER CP, it should list all the threads you are subscribed to. There is a place to UNSUBSCRIBE.

Also, check and see if you have asked to be emailed everytime someone responds to a thread you have been to. It's in the edit options: Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

Check the box that says NO.

Hope this helps.

OMG, llebrekniT. What an awful day. And what an idiot of a doctor. Too bad Deadheadbelle's MIL didn't step in sooner with the threats of lawsuit. I hope that now she's moved again they can figure out what the problem is and get your MIL all fixed up good. Here's another

Not sure that you actually want to UNSUBSCRIBE from the thread(s). Then you wouldn't get any notification, either thru email or in your User CP.

I like to check my User CP to see which threads I've subscribed to that have new posts. And I'm not sure the Email Notification option really works right - at least it doesn't for me. What I do instead is create a separate email account, like hotmail or yahoo, and set that as my email address for DIS notifications. I know it will fill up with all kinds of email, this way it doesn't interfere with my regular email and I only have to check it every once in a while - once a day, a couple times a week, etc. It's not a real solution but a work-around that does the job.

ibouncetoo, so glad to hear you made it safe and sound to Florida. That hotel/room sounds wonderful. That's too funny that you headed over to a Disney property for dinner. I'm sure I wouldn't have wanted to stay away either. Enjoy the rest of your trip, and say hi to Mickey ::MickeyMo for me.
