I'm popping in to give you guys an update, only I really can't tell you much unfortunately. This ended up being really long, feel free to skip to the end if you like, as I said, I don't have much news, unless you're really bored, you can just skip this.
To recap, she went to the ER about 4 am today with intense pain. She had already taken two Percoset's (horribly mis-spelled) and it wasn't having any effect. They started giving her doses of Demoral, she continued with the pain. They contacted her surgeon who wanted her transported to the hospital he was at so he could examine her. She had already been given 4 shots of Demoral, but they weren't lasting long.
They transported her to the ER at the hospital in Lex. DHB met her there. Her doctor was to arrive within 45 minutes, this was at about 10:00 am.
DHB has the greatest MIL (her DH's mom) in the world, I'll let her fill in more of the story later, but she showed up at some point. For a long time they denied my MIL any more pain med., but DHB wore them down finally and they gave her a little. My MIL was pleading with everybody to please, please give her something, she was somewhat loopy, but was saying "how could anybody let someone just suffer like this, this is so cruel...", and on and on. Poor DHB, it really ripped her apart to watch this.
At 3:30 DHB's MIL decided they had waited long enough and went up to a nurse (who really had no idea what was going on because she just got there) and said "OK, I think if the doc. isn't here in 1/2 hour we are going to need to look into some legal action" or something like that. I LOVE this woman! Anyway, DHB said the doc. got there at 3:58.
He said she could have one of two things going on and she would need to be sent across town to another hospital

to do anything about it. Mind you they sent her to this hospital because that was where he was and then he didn't even show for 6 hours!
We were on our way to the hospital at that point, but since they would be getting her ready to transport we decided to go to a restaurant near the hospital and get dinner before we went over, we would probably arrive at the same time. DHB grabbed up her family and met us at the restaurant.
We went to the hospital, NO DMIL! She hadn't arrived yet. So I called the other hospital and they said she was still there, waiting to be transported. It had been 2 hours since they said they would be transporting her. I asked what the status of that was? They said they would check, hold on. They came back on the line and said they would need to call the transport people and see when they could get her!

I don't think they had even called them until that minute.
Anyway, talked to FIL and told him we would be at DHB's (which is practically next door to the hospital) because by the time we drove back across town we would probably cross paths and the babies weren't really ER waiting room material.
So, over to DHB's house and then back to the hospital again.
This time we actually saw MIL in the radiology room as we walked down the hall. They needed to stick a scope down her throat to see if they could repair the clip they believed had come loose. If not they would have to open her up, pretty much all the way open her up, to look around and see what the deal is.
We (the kids and I) stayed until I knew it was getting close to the time that Ella would loose it and make a scene and we were in an area where there aren't supposed to be any kids. DH stayed and FIL will bring him home when MIL is settled as they have said that she will be passed out for quite a while afterwards.
I still know nothing at this point.
