Deadheadbelle, feed your hubby and your dad. be strong for the kids, and take care of yourself...Your mom is on the mend!!!!! that is all that matters...There are subtle ways of dealing with a NP, but generally they are not worth the trouble.... I have stopped the retribution of Robin more than once against my family...
Oh, and Ping-Pong-Ball...(hah a new one) we had 6 hours of no color to show our sympathy and concern for DHB and TB's Mum. I am using the Brit version of the word because it is more encompassing...it means mother and mother-in-law (at least that is the way I have heard it...

Just popping in to see how DHB and TINKBACKWARDS mom was doing. So glad the surgery went well. I hope the docs let the poor woman have some pain medication. What a horrible day for you all. No comment on NP and her dh Ron. What a bunch of losers. Sorry. But this was a FAMILY emergancy and everyone needed to pitch in and do what they could. Too bad.

So what is everyone doing this evening? We have just had a lovely dinner, our last not diet controlled one for a while!! I intend to start my diet again tomorrow (I will be thin!!) Right now we are just watching TV and having a drink. Then I need to make sure I am ready for school again tonorrow.I don't want to go back to work
It is exam week in 2 weeks time and it is the first time my class will have sat written exams so the presure is on for us (and them, but I will play it down for them as I don't want to scare them.)
Well back to work I guess....

I'm all caught up with you guys again and I feel sooo guilty about coming in here and venting and worrying everybody last night. Shoulda known better, shoulda known you guys wouldn't just read my rant and go on with your lives.
I didn't mean to cause you to loose sleep Ohana. Hope you are gettting some rest today.
DHB is amazing. I keep telling her to go home and she keeps saying she's OK, she's just hanging out.
This morning I talked to DMIL's friend who has been with her through all this. She went in the middle of the night with her to the ER. DMIL called her because she is a heart specialist and therefore knows a little bit about every kind of condition.
Anyway, when I talked to her this morning she asked about Don, why didn't he come yesterday? Told her everything you guys already know about how he handled the situation. She knows the boy, knows how he operates. I told her that I thought he would come down today, stay for a little bit and that he would have at least 2 of the kids with him because there was no way NP was going to let him out of the house on the weekend without taking some of the baggage with him.
Guess who showed up at the hospital? Don, with the Griff and Maddie. Where was NP? He said that Brock, the littlest one, woke up vomiting today so he brought the kids to keep them away from him.
So he brought 2 kids to her hospital room that have been exposed to whatever virus Brock has. Good job Don!
The important thing is that she is definetly in far better condition than she was yesterday, she is in bed - where she belongs and where she will stay for at least another day or two.

DH15 is working on 3 different school projects with two different kids today and I had to use brute force to get them off the 'puter for a minute... no colors now because I'm on the clock! Wow, feel like you at work, Lewski!

Oh, who said Mom's favor their sons...??? Well, I hate to admit it, but there's something true there. My DS is almost 25, has golden hair, and he can do no wrong... except if he forgets to check in on my mom down in Nashville or is a rude pig to ANYONE, he hears from me pronto!
I'll try to stop by and see who is tubbing tonight. If I miss y'all have a good evening and I'll check in after I get rid of all of my family tomorrow!!! heheheheheee

hello all! bear with me, i havent read since the 13 so i have a ton of catching up to do!
just finished recovering from passover last night(eventho it was really 2 weeks ago) but i must say i make a pretty good flourless chocolate cake !
