OK [COLOR=CC0033]kadaten[/COLOR], now I am doubly jealous of you! You are going to WDW and you got your SWAP box!!!! It's a good thing I like you, or I'd have to hate you.

I've been busy all day today!! Took Josh to swimming class. Then we went to CVS & got DMIL a cheer up card (shopping for cards with the Lainie monkey is NOT fun). Next stop, the candy store! Picked up a box of chocolate truffles for DMIL. We then took DMIL her goodies & headed back home. Once home, I rearranged stuff in all the kitchen cabinets. Anyway, I'll explain DMIL's situation some other time.

BTW, I live in Kentucky but I do not say "ya'll". I am a "you guys" kinda girl. We are going to Keeneland (the horse racetrack) this Saturday for a Derby thing. It's really fun, they simulcast all the races from Churchill Downs & they have betting windows. Everyone decorates their tables & you can bring all your own food. Did I mention the BAR!!! WOO HOO!! Can't wait. Anyway, if any of you would like me to place a wager for you, I can. Wow! Would that make me a bookie?

Hi all,

for all, I think everyone can use some...

To whoever asked the scanner question... (sorry, I forgot who asked...) I usually recommend on the same brand as your printer. The bundled software matches the palette... I like some of the features on the Epson Scanners (they have a "Fix-Old-Photo" mode that they advertise. Since you want to do negatives, buy the one that comes with the negative attachment; ordering them after the fact is not fun or easy. For reading in negatives, the higher the resolution the better... I hope this helps.

We sent [COLOR=CC0033]kadaten[/COLOR]'s box on Monday to make sure she got it before she left... Did you find the hidden Nephosaurus Sticker on the inside flap? Now what is he holding????? BTW, he is as red as his sister after that kiss.....

Didn't know you guys shipped [COLOR=CC0033]kadaten[/COLOR] early. I was telling Deadheadbelle on the phone "how did she get hers before us, the mail truck has to drive through KY to get to VA". She already set me straight. I think I scan too much. Need to read the posts more thoroughly.

Still waiting to find out if my treat was tasty, yucky or stale [COLOR=CC0033]kadaten[/COLOR].

I have to sign out now, time to start layering the lasagna so it can bake nice and slow. The sauce has been simmering for hours, should be super-duper yummy!

All packages were sent out Priority Mail. (Remember ohanafamily's PANIC ATTACK yesterday?) But we wanted to make sure [COLOR=CC0033]kadaten[/COLOR] got hers before they leave on Friday so hers went out on Monday. Don't worry, you should be getting yours tomorrow - Friday at the latest.

OK...quick question...no time to ask on the restaurant board....a lot of you have eaten dinner at Ohana, and I haven't. I told them it's my DFIL's birthday and we're also celebrating his retirement....what might they do for him? Any embarassment coming his way? I know I can order a cake or ask for one that night, but just wondering if they do anything for/to the birthday boy?? He's in good spirits these days, so it would be fun to see him embarassed

It's good to be back Deadheadbelle. I was one of many, I'm sure, that had sick children but mine sure were sicker than usual this year. The youngest just got over the dreaded rotavirus last week.

that they can stay healthy for the last 28 days of school. I'm amazed the oldest has learned anything at all this year. I've been buying the boy a video game a month just because he's been on the ball with grades and

practice and all the stuff the 6th graders have been doing. Boy oh boy I don't remember being given such a send off into jr. high like these kids are getting. Recognition, awards ceremony, fun days, school carnival, yearbook, etc etc etc. It's crazy .

RRBB What I want to know is how do I put the pics on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper? I know that they'll be reduced so do I just crunch them together taking into account the reduction, cropping, etc. and then number them? Or do I have to tape them together? I was thinking that the printer will take them apart to scan them in so I'm gonna have to number them anyway so that I know where each one is supposed to go. The last meeting is next Tuesday and I want to make it as easy on the printer as I can. They are already having some problems with the cover sheet bleeding and I've already dropped off the photos that were easy to place on the pages so this is the hardest part. They are gonna be some 14 pages of collage photos and I have a limited idea of what I'm doing. I wish I had paid more attention in journalism class instead of goofing off.

Well, that's enough for now. I have to keep checking my inbox for a pdf of what 5 students pics per page look like. I hope it looks good because we'll get 4 more pages this way.
