So my story about the zoo. This is actually a friends story but so funny.
He works as a youth group leader for teenagers with behaviour issues and had been running a club for them. As the club seemed to be helping them they asked if they could go for a day out somewhere. It was decided to go to the local wild animal park (where you can walk around and the animals are in fields not cages so you can get up close to the animals.) When they got there the kids were allowed to go around in groups. There were no complaints about them and every time the adults saw them they were being well behaved. At the end of the trip they met back on the coach and my friend just commented on how successful the trip had been when they heard a commotion at the back of the coach. He went to investigate and to his horror found that the kids had stolen a king penguin!! (I mean these things are not small, so how they got it out of the zoo when you go past zoo keppers at the gates on the way out I do not know!) So my friend had to take the penguin back. He just walked up to the gate, held out the penguin and said "I think this must be yours"!!! Luckily the penguin was OK and my friend learned never to take teenagers to an animal park again!

I didn't know penguins were "pick up-able" "toucha-ble" type animals at all. I thought they might bite, or beak ya.

I thought that too, but I have been to the wild animal park and these penguins are used to people coming up to them. They have a nice rock pool and swimming area but it has a waist hight fence around it. They are used to people coming up to the fence and petting them or feeding them. I guess one of the kids just leant over and picked one up. I'm amazed though that they got it out without either themselves or the penguin being harmed!

Do you have an AP yet? Made some friends? Is DP going to Valencia CC? OMG, I am reliving the whole area.

Make sure to eat at Peeps by Publix off Kirkman. I love Goodings, but it's more Pricey than Publix. Publix makes great cupcakes.

Ok if you can get a radio station from my area, U93 has an all 80's lunch hour. I forget what that radio thing is called....is it radio satellite?
