Ohhhh ok. Ya, that's too bad because they can be be a real issue if your at the same resort. These boards saved a trip for us a good while back by fore warning me about certain groups and my dates in early December at my resort. I changed my dates and was so grateful.

I don't what political about mentions the reason why international travel is down and what's happening to the cast member's who are immigrants and on visa's.

It’s clearly a political topic, even if it’s relevant to WDW, and the moderators don’t have time to keep track of what’s going on to make sure it doesn’t get out of hand so they just delete posts that are over the line.

we just got back from out 3rd annual December trip. It's getting really sad down there. we've been going the 2nd week because we figured it's a better week to drive down there. Less traffic, hotels quieter. it was too quiet this time. we only heard the international versions of the monorail speech in different languages 1 time. our resort buses were only buses at the end of the day. When there were people on the bus with us we'd only 2-3 people who won't pass for Floridians. The only foreigners we so were working. Also I noticed on the 3rd day when I went to get fruit cups for breakfast, their aren't any. just grapes, and cut watermelon. I forgot that the migrants that used to harvest the fields in Florida have left

My trip is now a few weeks away, and I’m not feeling as excited as I normally would be at this point. I don’t know if I’m just burnt out on Disney or if it’s been the stress of some family health issues. Maybe I feel guilty for planning a vacation when my brother is facing stage 4 cancer.

With our very first trip in October 2005, I felt guilt about how much time, priority, planning, focus and such I had spent, with Katrina hitting. Those people were losing thier lives and I was going on a trip that I had spent a solid year studying on. Of course we had no idea in 2004 what Fall 2005 would bring, but I will never forget that shame with my very first trip.
