does anyone know of good 80's music? I'm making a cd of it for DBF and only have 2 cd's worth to work with

What about songs by R.E.M., B52s, Guns N Roses, Cyndi Lauper, Pink Floyd, Bangles, Def Leapord, George Michael, Wham, Go-Gos, The Clash, Men at Work, Culture Club, Rick Springield, U2...

Hey tink_sparkles, welcome to the TAGLIARCHY. :wave2:

Hi tink_sparkles, Are you a Pre-K Teacher? We have been getting good stories from the UK about "Bad Kid School Stories..."

As far as the TAG FAIRY, well, I think they are on a hiatus. We have been asked not to beg, but we can clap.

So... If any TAG FAIRY is reading, we have a few people that wouldn't be upset with a new tag...

Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!

:bounce:

Hi Tink_sparkles! I have a tip. Say something really embarassing. :teeth: That is usually when the tag fairy appears.

Ha ha! Thanks Ohana! Yes, I am a pre-school teacher. I don't think I have in really funny stories. Except that my kids were "discussing" marriage yesterday! As for bad kids ... I have one little girl who refuses to nap and gets me to my last nerve and I'm ready to pull my hair out. She talks 24/7. But I have "one of those" every year!

Welcome to the TAGLIARCHY tink_sparkles!!!! I'd have to agree with Barb! Say something embarassing & you are likely to receive a new tag. Case in point, my latest tag. I didn't realize while posting something odd about myself that I would be marked for life with "has tree-hanging toes". Oh well.

I don't know Barb and Deadheadbelle ...:scratchin: I've said and done some pretty embarrassing stuff... I've even hidden naked in the bushes behind the hot tub...big butt and all ... and begged ohana to bring me food from the AYCE Garden Grill ... AND tolerated Lewski's Tag Brag, I'm still tag-challenged and monochromatic as ever.. :sad2:

BTW, welcome to the Island, Tink_sparkles!!! This is a really nice and fun bunch of folks, if you can manage to stay around and get to know them. (They can be a little strange, but I don't think any of them are axe murderers.) What age pre-school do you teach?

tink_sparkles, I am sorry but the TAG FAIRY has gotten a bit testy with people asking (ang begging) for tags...

Hmm.... does discussing your monochromacity count as asking or begging??? I sure didn't mean for it to.:(

I just had a long conversation with Xerox, and am on my way to check the mailbox and go home...
Just in case my DW wanted to know...

After Dinner, I will look for the IE CD...

Who was asking about 80's music ... was that you, CourtasanSatine? I just saw this in the news... wasn't this guy from the 80's? Seems like I remember him from early MTV, that I used to watch so I could be a :cool1: church youth counselor.

George Michael (news) was named king of the airwaves Wednesday, topping a survey of the most-played artists on British radio over the last 20 years. Michael, who began his career as half of Wham! two decades ago, beat Elton John (news) to top spot in the list, compiled by industry monitor Phonographic Performance Ltd. Hits including "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," "Careless Whisper" and "Faith" helped give Michael the top spot. Surely most of us, except locoball remember those songs.

I must admit I am mystified, if not intrigued by the whole tagging adventure. If you get tagged, does your current tag get erased? If you accidentally erase your tag, do you just have to wait around for another one?

Hi hyzdufan! Welcome to the TAGLIARCHY

Well, the TAG FAIRY added color to the tag I gave myself (mom to space ranger Josh & princess Lainie), then added a couple more. If you accidentally erase your tag, you have to wait for another. I've seen it happen, so if you get tagged, don't mess with it!!

This is excellent. I am glad you found "your" talent after all these years. Your people seem to have one special area for shining. Now, would you say this is yours? We've already discussed it isn't style. If it's not those two, it's cooking or gardening. Fess up!

So, can you come get Bawb and I from the airports and taxi us? I think we decided to stay on WDW property. We don't want to truly impose too much. I mean, how would we get around?

Do you have an AP yet? Made some friends? Is DP going to Valencia CC? OMG, I am reliving the whole area.

Make sure to eat at Peeps by Publix off Kirkman. I love Goodings, but it's more Pricey than Publix. Publix makes great cupcakes.

Ok..........I just have so much to talk about, but I will refrain from going any  ier than I already have.

We MISS ya!
LOL! :rotfl:
I don't think I could make a career out of any of those specialties, but I'm getting better at the decorating thing. I don't really cook that much. DP likes to and I'm pretty good at making suggestions whenever he starts talking about ideas for dishes. Yeah, that's it...I'm the "Idea Guy"! ;)

WE DID BUY APs!!!! :jumping1:

We've only been once so far, but we'll probably go this weekend and meet my brother and his girlfriend. It's so strange to not feel like you have to get your money's worth. We went to Epcot and then hopped over to MK just to do Philharmagic (very cool) and Buzz Lightyear (one of our faves).

I'm not sure I want to taxi you and BAWB around because that would mean I couldn't imbibe with youse guys!! Hmmmm... :scratchin: ...but I bet I could convince DP to be our chauffer. ::yes::

We've found a few cool places to eat but we seem to rely too much on the regular chain restaurants. We keep saying we're gonna experiment a little more. I'm sure we will as we start to feel more settled. They've just sort of been something we knew while everything else going on was new to us. You know what I mean?
