Good morning T/FT's!

Good to see everyone around!! Not too much planned here today. Church this morning then more work on the basement. We picked up a sweet leather couch yesterday, for free. Found it on craigslist! We're going to have a really, really neat playroom down there in time for Thanksgiving.

After enjoying a very unusually mild day yesterday (65!!) we are now on the downward spiral to a high of 39 on Wednesday.....

I'm also psyched it's Sunday because The Amazing Race is on tonight!!! I was SOOOO happy last week when those two divorcees were finally booted!

Okay, ya'll, help me out. We looked at AKV renting points for Thanksgiving. Let's just say, it's a bit out of our price range. So I am planning on getting 2 rooms at a Moderate and having the girls and me stay in one room and dh and ds stay in the other. So, my request. Click on my link and vote for me. TIA!

As soon as I saw you had posted, then I knew where the 2nd vote for POR came from. Funny thing is, I voted for POR, too. I really want to go back, but at the same time, I want to be in AB and I doubt they'd they'd do that if I got two rooms. I just know my girls need more room. And more privacy from their brother.

Great find of craigslist! I should have a leather couch for my allergies, but my animals would destroy it.

It's been raining and windy here but warmer than normal. Yesterday was our HS Divisional Football Championship game. It was WET. Next week is the state finals and I hope it's not raining. I'm sick of watching football games in the rain.

I am also looking forward to The Amazing Race tonight and glad not to have to see the divorced women anymore.

I have been pretty busy the last few days b/c I have my mother new puppy here while she is in FL for a week. Trying not to kill it as it only weighs 2.8lbs.

Those 2 were AWFUL! Usually I have a team I very strongly like, but I'm not feeling that as much this year. I like the mother son team and frat guys. I think there is another team I feel ok about too.

If I am correct, both you and I have had 2 family trips to Disney. Maybe you don't feel the same way, but I would want to choose a resort I have not been to. My 1st trip, we stayed at POFQ. I really liked FQ, but when we go again, I'm all for trying something new.

I know, I know. I am really leaning towards CBR now as the price is the same and the rooms are larger. I do think we will need 2 rooms, but a villa is really out of my price range. I priced renting DVC and it was a great deal more than 2 rooms at a mod. Our first trip was to POP Century. We liked it, but we had 2 adjoining rooms with another family. Then the beds at POR made me a moderate snob. So the next trip will have to be to at least a mod.

They were pillow topped beds at POR, and when we went to visit our family at POP, I sat on their bed and it just was not as comfortable to me.

That's not a dog, it's a small rat.

Amanda - I voted for Ft. Wilderness, but it was close to POFQ. I love FQ best with the beignets, iron railings, and dragon slide.

I did not catch the size of SadieDog's mom's puppy--that's an itty bitty puppy. What kind is it?

After dh saw the numbers, he thinks we should go during the school year in 2010 (like late February). Of course, that is during next school year--we'll have to look at the school calendars. I usually have a 3-day weekend the 2nd week in March.

The puppy is a mini poodle chihuahue. NOT my kind of dog.

I'm a little slow this morning b/c my mother's puppy starting it's yelping bark at 2:30am this morning. It went on for what seemed like forever. It's going to be a LONG week. She comes back Sunday.
