Sounds like we are dealing with the same thing you are? I was reading a thread somewhere...that gas prices are starting to drop. The Op said she about fainted when she realized that gas was less than $3.00. I don't know where she lived though. It's still around $3.57 here. But, that is less than it was. We had gotten up to $4.03.

Boy, you all have been busy this morning. Let me get all of this in before I have to. . .work.

Um. So do I. My youngest's name is Paige. Though Phoebe and Piper were options. Not Prue. I'm also a big fan of Buffy, Angel, and other supernatural tv series like that.

I love the name Piper, but dh would never go for it. I like Paige, too, but there are a lot of people around here with the last name Page.

FRIDAY!!!!! I did not realize it was Friday. You know what, go, have fun, and come back with a tr, since you escaped our pestering (ah, asking) for a ptr.

I love Mondays, to be honest. A fresh start on the whole week!

Meh. Like so many others, we are hitting a real financial low and unsure of exactly how to deal with it.

FOr the first time in a long time, we are financially stable. I got a raise last year and dh got one this year. We traded a $600/month car payment for a $350/month payment and paid off Dan's truck. All we have monthly now is a personal loan payment from when we cut up our credit cards, house payment, and that car payment. But ask me financially how I am the week after our trip when we will I know spend more than we planned.

Gas is still $3.70 here. But remember it got up to $4.60 right before Ike.

We are down to $3.35. We broke $4. very briefly around early July, but fortunately it didn't stay there too long! It's pretty bad when you are relived that gas is "only" $3.35!

Yes, thank you. We had some cake last night after dinner and DS9 opened his presents! I want to let him be able to have a few friends over this coming weekend, but to be honest, I really don't have any money to really "do a party." Maybe if he had 2 friends sleep over one night, that would be more manageable.

The TR:.....I know, I know! I had wanted to do another installment too. But I forgot The Amazing Race was on and then I just felt like heading to bed after that. I feel kind of stuck in writing it, too. I know what I want to write, but I'm just not feelin' it! I need to get it done and over with, though. Hopefully today!!!

And the digging in the sand....I almost peed myself laughing!!!!!

The separated couple irks me sometimes (well she does) but I can appreciate what they're trying to do so I don't fault them too much.

The divorced girls and the "southern belles" are something else.... Not sure what, but something.

The "newly dating" couple have got to go!!!!!! Oh my word he is SUCH a pansy!!! All he does is whine and want his girlfriend to dote on him like momma.... (did you see the incident where the trunk hit his head??.... )

Everyone else seems pretty normal. We'll see how it plays out!

I keep waiting for him to have a meltdown temper tantrum. His hair just cracks me up. I used to do that to my kids when they were babies. (I mean little babies)

I would love to share some details. Thanks for asking. I realized I did not give any details in my post on page 143. I talked about why I have not been talking about it and why the trip made me sick thinking about it. I will be back.....
