Although now that we're almost "there," I'm realizing my countdown isn't quite accurate.... It says 2 days today when in reality, there are three. I mean, I'm all about knocking off a day!...but two days from now is Sunday. I guess when you get to Sunday, you say there are "zero" days left... Is that how it works??!

What's new with you? Are you feeling any effects from Hanna??

Things with Hanna won't be bad. Creativeamanda will probably feel more than we will. It is making landfall more than likely underneath her. We are under tropical storm warnings. Ike is the scary one. You and Mean Queen are really going to have to watch this.

LegoMom - how exciting! Last day of work and just a few more days to WDW.

I have nothing planned today. I'm too poor to do anything. The tooth fairy took all my money. My DD9 lost a tooth yesterday. DH asked if I had money and I said yes. Well, apparently I only had a $20. We realized this at midnight. So we had a very generous Tooth Fairy stop last night. DD knows the truth, so I may ask her for change. We just told her we'd keep up the game if she promises to keep it up for her little sister.

So we had a very generous Tooth Fairy stop last night. DD knows the truth, so I may ask her for change. We just told her we'd keep up the game if she promises to keep it up for her little sister.

Holy crap, $20! My kids got a small handful of change. If they find this out, they will once again have another example how others kids get more than them. Of course, they would be right. Eh, I just tell them there will always be people with more than you just as there will always be people with less. You just need to learn how to be happy and satisfied with what you have and not focus on what you don't.

We now always stay at the Poly!! we tried other ones after our first stay at the Poly in 1993, and we just seem to like that one. Probably because we got married there, before they had the wedding pavillion thing!

Hey guys. Still here, but waiting for Hanna to get here. It's getting darker and darker as the day goes on. Had to take dd9 to the doctor this am--sinus problems. It was sunny when we walked in--cloudy when we came out. Then we went tothe store to get bread (still don't know why, but did it anyways) and when we came out, it was raining.

Dsil called and told me to run to the post office--I have banana nut bread waiting for me all the way from Miami. But the post office is closed for lunch til I think 1.
