Sit in the house and wait for the storm to pass. Hope the kids don't get too bored. I probably should do some laundry. But the weather has me feeling lazier than usual.

WorkWorkWork all week.
Followed by PackingPackingPacking all this weekend.

This'll likely be my theme until I leave for Disney.

WorkWorkWork :sad2:
PackingPackingPacking :woohoo:

Bet it isn't just the storm. ;)

Two grumpy kids have me wanting to tear my hair out. Though I did get my oldest to start the laundry. If it would only rain, I'd feel a bit better about this being a "hurricane day."

If it makes you feel any better, mine is not in a very good mood either. She is so sore from practice, she can barely walk.

Once the little one went down for a nap, both of their moods improved greatly. The oldest had full control of all electronic equipment (TV, computer) and the little one got much needed rest. And I got a break! Now, time to make dinner.

Glad their moods improved. My daughter was not thrilled about having to go to a 2nd practice for the day. Tues and Thurs are double sessions. 8-11am and 4-6pm. Maybe when she is done for the day, she will be in better spirits. Off to finish making supper.

Hi everyone!

Umm....

Well, I guess that's it - just "Hi everyone!"

;)

Hey, has anyone ever played one of the mini-golf courses at Disney? We were thinking of that as an option either some evening, or on our day off. Plus we got a voucher in our package for one adult to play free. I'm thinking the Winter Summerland one looks fun, and particularly the course there themed like Christmas.

.

Hi LegoMom!! How has your day been? Sorry...I can't answer your question about the mini golf.

Well then what good are ya?! :lmao:

Sorry, I'm just really feelin' my oats today!! Must be the fast-approaching trip.

My day has been pretty good, except for slicing my thumb on a pair of scissors at work this morning.... :scared1: I was trying to scrape off some glue with my thumb-nail, only the nail slipped..... :scared:

Ouch.

How 'bout you?!

I was just fine and dandy until you went into detail about your thumb. :scared: Ouch is right!! :flower3:

I have played one course at each, though I can't remember if we did Winter or Summer. I know we did the Fantasia one, which we loved. If you have a day off from the parks, it is a fun way to spend the day. The theming at the Winter/Summer is very cute. It's right next door to Blizzard Beach, so you could take the bus to BB and walk to the golf course (if you have no car.) The other is near the Swan, but a bit longer walk.

I wonder if my affinity for elves comes from being small of stature??

5' 1".

And no I don't wear heels or have pouffy hair!

But I do really like elves.

Well you know in an elfs world you are sooooo tall. :rotfl: :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Never quite thought of it like that!!!

When I was looking at the mini-golf options at Disney, I saw the one that was Christmas themed and it mentioned elves and I was all about playing that course. And that got me thinking about our trip to a place here in NH called Santa's Village last summer, and there are these elves all over the park and you get a card punched out from every elf to get a prize at the workshop. That was fun, finding all the elves! And the movie "Elf" (with Will Ferrell) is one of my all-time favorites.

I so should have written a PTR installment today. It probably would have been quite amusing!

I'm the opposite. Little people freak me out. They make me feel like a giant. I'm 5' 11".
