Good morning. We saw the sun ALL day yesterday. It had been over a month.

Legomom, I have been there and know how exhausted you will be. Sorry about the rotten night.

My daughter starts preseason field hockey practice today at 8am. She is getting over a cold. Hopefully she is over it enough that all the exercise/activity won't trigger her asthma. That means I am carless till after 11am.

Well, today would have been a great day to wake up to a scrollie....thanks a lot Tag Fairy....

DS11 had a friend sleep over last night. They woke me up with their noise level at 1am, 2am, and 3am.....(when I finally blew my top on them and all h*ll broke loose). Now, at 7am, the friend is awake and yelling at DS to "get up!" So DS comes out of his room just now:

Me: What are you doing??
DS: What, I'm up!
Me: So you slept for FOUR hours. And everyone else is STILL asleep, so you need to sit and do something VERY quiet in your room.
DS: (shuffles back to his room and closes door)

Do you have any idea of the price I'm gonna pay for this later today, when I am as exhausted as he is???!!!

And now, I have to pull myself together and get ready for work.

Worst. Night. Ever.

Why can't kids get the "sleep" part in "sleepover"? I hope you don't drag too much today. My DD is still trying to catch up from her week long sleepover with a friend.

I'm back after a brief DIS hiatus and have to say "HOW I'VE MISSED ALL OF THEE!!!"

So, other than me now being happy for (and instantaneously envious of) Mean Queen's new scrolly tag, how's everyone been? Have I missed anything?
Catch-up has been SO daunting. Doesn't everyone on the DIS know they should stop typing when I'm away?!?!

UGH. So busy! Not sure if you're on any of the other threads that I've posted this on, but we were on vacation last week and decided to try our hands at renting a house so I've been packing for Disney AND packing the apartment up.

We move, ahem, well BF will move us, the week I'm at Disney.

But we made an "arrangement". I have to pack and label everything. He will move everything. I will return to the old place after vacation to clean it.
