TK....Take your time. Today seems to be a good day for it. Trying to get past the crucial nap time. That's a tough one....I still haven't gotten through it.

Don;t worry ya'll....I'm not pulling the Christmas decorations out yet. I can't get to them by myself. And no one will help me. I always start decorating the weekend after Halloween. So......I guess I'll just have too wait.

Ugh. I am knee deep in stuff. The way I've been decluttering is by taking everything off of an item or out of a piece of furniture, putting it on the floor and deciding what to keep, toss, or move somewhere else. So right now, the bookcase in my living room has nothing on it, and it looks lovely.

The floor does not. One step at a time. On my ptr thread, someone told me breathe in the pretty colors and breath out the bad ones. I'm trying to do that.

In aquamarine, out gray.

DS is napping so that's a plus! I'll definitely take him to the library and treat him to McDonald's for gracing me with some uninterrupted time.

Alright, I'm glad to hear you're going to hold off on the Christmas decor. Halloween is my favorite time of year, so I actually have some decorations that stay up all year long. I can't help it. I'm such a pumpkin, being an October baby and all.

creativeamanda, LOVE the hammock/tree picture and the sunset with the trees. What beautiful trees.

We had a good time at our camp. I came home Sunday morning to nap and shower. I barely got any sleep Sat night. My daughter was home for the weekend and I knew she was going to have a few friends over however (can you guess what I am going to say) I discovered there were MANY more than a few. I drove in my driveway to find 3 cars and another parked in back of my house. I go inside to find out there are 3 people sleeping in MY BED. 3 more were in her bed, 1 on the couch and whoever was in my son's bed was gone by the time I got home. I logged on as my friend on her facebook (she told me to) to see a bunch of pictures someone took of the party. Very interesting stuff. 3 garbage bags of alcohol returnables were in my garage. UGH

DISGUSTED! Tons of cig butts outside. If they were all outside it would have been better. It infuriates me that people were smoking IN MY HOUSE! She has never allowed that before. She has asthma and had always told people to go outside. Sunday morning my house smelled of stale beer and cigs. I hate both. Last night my husband discovered puke in back of our house. I guess I should consider myself lucky it was outside. This morning I look in my antique basket that holds napkins on our table and found a cig butt and ashes in it. GROSS!!! UGH UGH UGH Grrrrrrrrrr

That is one line mine have never crossed. Home is our safe place and they protect it as much as we do. I think the teen years into early adulthood is harder on us than it is on them.

Wow, you had 4 teens and none of them threw a party at your house

I spoke with a neighbor last night and she was telling me about the parties her sons had when they were not home. Made me feel a little better.

I was not happy with how she left some of the house which had nothing to do with the party. She had the nerve to leave dishes with caked on food in the sink, macaroni all thru the sink and pan with stuck on food on the stove. No need for me to come home to that. PICK UP AFTER YOURSELF!!! She already left to return to college by the time we got home Monday. She also left without cleaning the rat cage. I thought with her coming home for the weekend, it was the perfect opportunity for her to clean the cage. I already am stuck with caring for her rat now that she is away, she should have cleaned the cage while she had the chance.

On a better note. The sun is out today and I will enjoy it when I walk the dogs.
