Oh Wow! I'll go check!!!!!
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool Me twice, shame on me!
Received this e-mail from DCL this morning concerning the Panama crossing.
Thank you for booking a vacation with Disney cruise line, we have some important information concerning the Panama crossing 15 night cruise on August 17th, 2008.
Since your last vacation and our last transit of Panama, we have added a number of new features to the Disney Magic, including the Dumbarton an on deck LED videoscreen wall at the Goofy pool to show late night movies and an enhanced Vista Spa and salon area.
When adding these features to the cruise ship for everyones extra enjoyment, it also added weight to the overall ship. This has affected our buoyancy ratio, it is not any problem in normal sea operations, however in freshwater we have identified a problem, as the buoyancy is far less than in sea water.
The Panama crossing is in freshwater and therefore there is a small possibility if the ship is fully occupied and with the additional features as mentioned above the Panama authorities have told us the ship might not rise in the locks.
I am sure you would not wish the ship to travel in any circumstance where safety is compromised, Maritime law dictates we must make provision, so we will have to make some additional conditions of carriage on the Panama crossings, as follows:-
Luggage. Must be restricted to one bag per person.
Any souvenirs purchased in Acapulco should be shipped home, not taken onboard.
Food, the ship will be loaded in Los Angeles with sufficient food upto the Panama Canal and reloaded in Cartagena food will be restricted on the day of the crossing, to add extra buoyancy, and will consist of Salads and light snacks only all day.
We further ask all cruisers who are over 12 stone to either diet before the cruise or work out in the gym each day before the crossing to ensure the safety of the ship. Servers will restrict desserts to one per person until after the crossing.
The Captain reserves the right to ask large cruisers at the first lock of the panama canal to either get off and catch the train to the other end, or when the ship is in the lock to jump upwards when the bridge makes an announcement, ship to assist its levitation.
We hope these restrictions do not effect your enjoyment of this cruise and look forward to sailing with you! Have a Magical Day!

Health and safety.

i thought the episode was very good
anyone notice the other reference to Dracula other then the blood drinking villain?
the plasmavore's first victim was called Mr. Stoker which, of course, is a reference to the author of Dracula.

Crikey you guys have been busy whilst I was going cross eyed counting my quiz scores!
Loved, loved, loved last night's episode - I was on the edge of the sofa and open mouthed for most of it!
I really liked Martha, which is a miracle really because I loved Rose so much, plus I thought Martha was a bit full of herself on the trailers. However, in the first few minutes she had lots of people calling her up to moan and she stayed calm in a crisis - she reminded me so much of me I decided to like her!![]()
Great storyline, and I thought the Judoon were fantastic, fast going up there with sontarans for me. That plasmavore woman was well freaky!
Good one, EmperorDalek - I turned the TV on after reading the first line of your joke, then read the rest and turned it off again![]()
Am totally impressed that you saw the hospital, Hilary, wish some of Doctor Who would get filmed up North!
Also well impressed with you spotting the vampire reference, Marypops. And totally cross with myself for not doing as I am obsessed with vampires!
Haven't watched Confidential yet, saving it for a mid week Doctor Who fix.
Leela![]()
Good sum up,
Mat's posted on another thread he didnt see any April fool jokes!
It's OK Emporer Dalek, I just need to use hypnotherapy on her.![]()
Might be a bit harder to do on a member of the Sevateem though.![]()

I wouldnt do that, every 45 mins I switch on Radio three, and I bark if someone mentions Harry Potter?
Back from our w/e trip to MIL's I did manage to see all but the first few minutes and it was sooooo good!!
So, tonight I thought I'd watch the beginning and see when Martha first saw the Dr. Guess what, I was reading a post and completely missed it!!!![]()
thought it was absdolutely great although i was a tad distracted by that nice lady from dinnerladies turning up as the evil plasmavore thingy. gill
Did you notice The Doctor say, he had a brother once, and was also married.
