Hi Michelle
we got there just before nine but there was already a long queue and if you want an early swim, which I would reccomend in the summer you will need to get there earlier than that.

I take it the diets not going so well the Mand?

I can't swim, so we've never contemplated Discovery Cove. Actually, that's not strictly true as my brother and sister-in-law have tried to badger us into it once or twice and we considered accompanying our two girls and elder dd's boyfriend back in 2004 (but ended up just paying for them  ). Your account has almost convinced me it might be worth an outing. Trouble is, I can't even take my feet off the bottom. You can call me Wimpyton of Wimpyville.

I've more than had my thunder stolen, but as I was thinking it long before reading the replies, I have just one thing to say to Theresa: "How you doin'?" ;) :rotfl:

Hi everyone
Thanks for your kind comments regarding THAT photo. You're all much too nice! I'm still going to kill Tony for posting it though. He could have used one of the hundreds of other photos that didn't include me in my swimwear!

Debs I'm a none swimmer also, If you wear the life vest you CANNOT sink, You will bob about like a cork, but you will not sink. It's about fiftenn feet deep if you go for the deep water swim but you don't have to, you can opt for the shallow water one. It really is a fantastic experiance in my opinion.

However when we were raveing about it to Mandy (SIL not Mouse) she turned up her nose at the thought of swimmimg in all that fish poo.

Even though I can't swim I loved DC I hope to do it again one day. :thumbsup2

I know what you mean about the Dolphin swim being moving, Tony - I never quite got over being able to hear them under water... Can't wait to do it again some day... :lovestruc

I agree with all the comments here....Discovery Cove is absolutely amazing! I loved it and really want to do it again one day, seeing your pics has really made me try to re work a free day in my itinery for December.

Theresa....you go GIRL! :woohoo:

Lovely report and a very special day as DC is a truly unique place to visit. Another belated 'wow' opinion of Theresa's photo.:)

Gotta agree DC is a fantastic day out and some think it is pricy but worth every penny.
