Thanks Claire, I'm going to start buying stuff soon so that by her Birthday and Christmas she will have a fair few bits.
The shop is great, though smaller than you might expect!
They have loads of really nice stuff though (some imported from Japan so you can only get it from the shop or their website - my daughter got a lovely Halloween set there last year) - so be warned!
The prices are usually a bit cheaper in the shop than on the website as they include delivery on the website.
Oh, and there's a club you can join too - it's only £10 for a year which includes 2 figures (grandparents, very cute with little glasses!) as well as 4 magazines which my dd loves getting. I thought that was very reasonable seeing as 2 figures would cost at least £6-£7, if not more, to buy.
I'm as bad as DD
I kep looking for excuses to 'treat' her![]()
The Grand Hotel is top of dd's wish list![]()
End of October?
The caravan looks cute
I think I got my first Sylvanian figure when I was 3 - 23 years later I still have all of it including houses, bakery, caravan, bus, boat and families! My mum had 5 boxes of it shipped over to Florida when they moved
(in fact when I was over there last year I was bored one rainy afternoon and got some of it out to play with but, sssh, don't tell anyone)
It is v expensive but I have seen stuff in TKMaxx occasionally so its worth looking there!
My DD wants them for Christmas too, luckily my mum has offered to get the house so I just need to get the furniture and some families. Must admit I was shocked by how expensive they are however hopefully it can be something DD can keep as a collectors item once she has out grown playing with it.
