Is it possible to switch room occupants? Specifically looking to book an additional room, and move one of the already booked/paid adults to the new room?

Yes it is, but if the rate for a person is more than the room you already booked, you will have to pay the difference.

Yes- I've done it before and was caught off guard. As stated above, the person you move is considered a brand new booking. So they are now charged the current rate at time of new booking.:(

Since you are past the PIF date, not only will be you be charge the current rate for the passenger you move, there may also be penalties to cancel the person from their original booking. So unless you are adding just one additional person and need to move someone who is the 3rd or 4th passenger in the original room to keep from paying a single supplement, it may not make sense to cancel and rebook that person.

we need to switch 2 people ,not changing number s in either room. We were just going to go to guest services to get extra room keys.
