Our family is looking to visit WDW in early December 2003. I made a quick call yesterday to our AAA office, and the agent there said she could get a $259 AAA rate, and that we could then apply the Entertainment Card 50% discount on that rate, further reducing the cost of the room to $129.50. Has anybody out there been able to do this?

Not sure, but I know the 50% discount from the entertainment card is based on availability of rooms, and that it is 50% off the rack rate. I don't know if it can be combined with other discounts. I have found that AAA is not that savvy about the Swan/Dolphin. For instance, they don't know about the teacher, gov. employee discounts. Can someone else help?

You get 50% off rack rate with AAA card. Best is call the Swan or Dolphin directly and try to get 50% off the rack rate.

I know this is right because the SwanandDolphin person PM me.

I hope that helps.

Don't go through AAA but call the Swan yourself with the enterment coupon. If you are a teacher you will get the same rate. We have an AP last Dec we got a good rate with the Swan and our card. Good luck :bounce: :earsboy: :earsboy:

Given that neither my wife nor I are teachers, govt workers, nurses, etc., is it safe to say that if I can get AAA to commit to a $129.50 rate I should book it? If the $129.50 rate is a mistake by AAA, you think they'll renege on the rate?
