Swan/Dolphin discounts - early January?

Have the Swan and Dolphin ever come out with discounts (similar to the $99 Labor Day deal) for early January? I'm talking about anywhere between 1/3 and 1/11. I think DBF could get the education discount (he's employed as a teaching assistant at our university), but I'm wondering if anything better might pop up between now and then.

Oh, and I'm too chicken to try Hotwire. I could never go through with it.
