I missed you Poohsie :)...
but everyone is USED to you being gone for a day or two at a time when you're working. Now me, most days I'm on here morning
noon
night...
or at least ONE of the above :teeth: hehehehe

Hell, I actually SCREAMED when they voted Rupert off tonight. :( The show is going to suck so badly without him...

Sue...its not unusual for you to miss a day here and there......Ann is always here at least once a day......thats why I wondered about her and not you.....

as for you Sue....what did you think of that picture and if you can't say here PM me :teeth:

Now see Sue
your post was the first I saw and I replied so quickly that I hadn't even read back yet......so now i have repeated what Ann said.

I hadn't seen you Teri yet either. That'll be great to go for the weekend. Where are you going to stay since the S/D is sold out?

As for the Clay thread...not only is Brandie Queen blabbermouth over there....it WAS OUR idea here. Gail and Brandie and I thought we would bore the others away with all our Clay talk so I thought a CLay only thread would be good. There was one out there already long and started by honeywolf and I think Brandie asked her to change the title.

one of my co-workers said that they elluded on CBS This Morning that Rupert is filming with the Survivor All-Stars edition! i haven't been following the show this season, but i hear about rupert all the time since he's from indy.

so debbie...did you share the infamous "picture" with sue yet? :teeth:

where's shellie??

yes I sent the pic to Ann :teeth: she hasn't see it yet
but when she does it may clear some things up in her mind :teeth:

I haven't watched survivor since the first one

back to work :wave2:

Hi Teri, I think most of these Clay fans are so taken by him because he is clean cut and there doesn't seem to be anything phoney (sp) about him. With all the wackos and freak shows out there now a days , it is nice to see the average Joe make it big with out Mommy or Daddys name to get his foot in the door or any other type of political influence. He has a great sing voice with alot of heart. As for his physical tributes I couldn't say . I'm a Faithe Hill fan when it comes to that.

I tried to install a quote but screwed it up. :(

Have a good time on your weekend stay over.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :wave2:

yes thats why we like Clay :D

Now why is this thread on the bottom of page 3???

I went puppy shopping today....just looking so far...they are all so cute

Good morning cheerleaders. Please keep my Saturn's clutch in your thoughts today as DS James is going to be doing his best to learn how to drive a car with a manual transmission today.

The weather in NE Ohio is going to be wonderful this weekend. I guess that Mother Nature is taking pity on us by giving us such mild weather this late in the year.

Have a great weekend everyone. :bounce:

( quote )I went puppy shopping today:p I think dogs complete a home.

Good luck in finding a nice dog.

Hey All, what do you think Disneyfaniam will name her puppy should she pick out a male dog.? Hmmmm, lets think... Mickey, nooo, Pluto ? , nooo, Goofy ?, nooo , maybe RUUUBIN, noo : How about   CLAY   Yeah,

Here Clay , here boy. Fetch the stick Clay. Maybe he'll be the talented singing dog.

Do you remember the old shows Davey andGolithe and Gumbey andPokey ?:scratchin They all had talent and they were CLAY .:laughing

Look forward to hearing when you bring one home. Lots of luck!!!:wizard:

Saturns clutch :wizard:

Somehow, I don't think Deb's hubby and sons would let her name their dog Clay...dunno why... ;) They'd probably go with Ruben, though, just to make her crazy.

Driving lessons?? Hopefully, the transmission gods will smile upon you, and James won't destroy the clutch. Good luck, John - don't pull out your hair... ;)

page 3 YIKES!!!
YES I have been puppy shopping and puppy buying and playing with my puppy :teeth:

Yes Gail I asked about the border terriers but I was told they are very expensive....and I read on line they can cost as much as $2500....sooooooooo I saw this one little puppy that was soooo adorable and it was a Pug and Cavilier King Charles Spaniel mix.
He looks more like the CKC Spaniel but his hair is short like the pug and he has the pug eyes which make him just so cute. But I went to another place and found a Cairn Terrier. She was adorable too. I got equally attached to both of these puppies and since they are both such small dogs I was considering getting both. Then I was told not to get them at the same time cuz they would bond with each other rather than us. Anyway I ended up with the PUG Mix because I can get a Cairn Terrier anytime in the near future whereas this Pug mix would be hard if noy impossible to find again. Even his sister from the same litter didn't look anything like him...she had longer hair. He has these big sad eyes :teeth:

As for a name....we haven't named him yet. He is white and reddish brown all over...so I think the name Clay is out.
AND GAIL you won't believe this but I wanted to name him Rueben and Jerry and the boys said no. He just looks like a Rueben...not a Clay :D We have considered Mickey as well. Also Brady after the PATS quarterback. We can't decide. When he is full grown he will be between 14 and 18 pounds at most so he is a very small dog.
I am open to suggestions for names :teeth:

congrats on the new puppy!! we really want a dog, but have to wait til the house is done and we have a fence. we may not wait quite that long, but at least until we're in the house...

names, huh? i'll have to think on that one...we need to see a picture!!

i just typed a long post with one finger ....cuz the puppy is asleep on my arm...AND I hit something and its gone
I'll be back later to type over

Congrats on the new puppy! :teeth:

I have a feeling my kids would want us to name any male pet Rufus (Kim Possible's pet - a naked mole rat - LOL)

I was watching a dog show, and saw one that was named Champion (Blah Blah Blah) Hairy Potter - that cracked me up.

So, does he look like a Rufus?? ;)

Congrats on the new puppy!!!!:bounce: :bounce:
He sounds like a Dexter. I think its a neat name and it's unique.
When was the last time you heard someone call their dog Dexter. While reading your post for some reason it just popped in my head.

::yes:: Enjoy the puppy. Don't forget to put some poopy papers on the floor.

Hi everyone...I'm home! I had a woooooooooonderful weekend away. Bee-yoo-tiful weather too. And DD seems to have survived without any trouble. What an awesome resort (and we got a great promotional 'NH Resident's rate' that was less than 1/2 rack and included breakfast too. ) I just love finding bargains....I always compare everything to "how many ngihts at WDW could I do for this amount" when making any moderate to large purchases ;) Which probably also explains why, after browsing in every "foo-foo" jewelry store in downtown Portsmouth yesterday, we found my 10th anniversary treat today in the Zales outlet in Kittery ME. Sort of a crisscrossed, channel set diamonds thingy for my right hand. Very sparkly yet low profile enough to wear everyday. I've been :teeth: :hyper: all day.

PD for your transmission TC...DD actually learned in a standard....my Mazda 626 , and DH's truck is standard too. Quite challenging at the outset, because she was of course doing the Driver's Ed hours in an automatic. But she persevered, and actually took her test in it and now drives it daily, having bought it from me when I got my Sebring.

A PUPPY Debbie  wow, I almost didn't tell DD....it's all she's ever wanted her whole life and probably the only thing we've ever denied her. Congrats and enjoy. He sounds cute I have to think about the name . :) HA...I just told her and she didn't even give me a hard time....and she suggests for names: Nomar or Damon. (Methinks' she's still fixated on the BoSox  )

Gotta go...laundry waits...and a 9 pm indoor soccer game  which I will feel tooo guilty not to go to having been gone all weekend ;)
