A little background....up until this point I have only exclusively flown SW. I was thinking of booking with Airtran because they were SO MUCH cheaper but I waited too long and their price has gone up, add that to the cost of changing our seats and the cost to carry a bag and their price is up there now too. I need to get to Tampa/Orlando/Ft Myers from PVD/BOS on Thur 11/4 and back on Sun 11/7. While their prices down on the 4th aren't all that great I can handle them. However, their prices on Sunday are just astounding. $230 one way. I have never flown SW on a Sunday before - are these typical prices or do you think they will come down at all?

Thanks!

We came across the same thing with Jetblue. We wanted our trip to be Sun-Sun, but the costs for that first Sunday were astronomical. 2 days earlier, and they were like $84! So we are now going Fri-Sun. We paid $837 total (incl. taxes and such) for 4 of us, roundtrip. I'm glad we booked when we did though, because I just checked our flights and they are already selling higher than what we paid.

If I were you, I'd check to see if you can change a day or two in either direction and see if that would make a difference. Either way, I'd book soon- I'm pretty sure SW has a policy to give you a credit if your flight cost goes down.

**BTW I just plugged in your trip info to Jetblue, and found from BOS to MCO on the 4th for $113/per person, and for the return it's $179/per person. JB allows 1 free checked bag per person ;) HTH!

(also, if you book Jetblue, you can book it through swagbucks and get "points" to use on amazon.com. Like I said, my total was $837, and I'm gonna get enough points for $15 amazon.com gift certificate!)
