Survivor Thailand! (Possible Spoilers)

Sigh...that WAS so dull and disappointing. Was so hoping Clay would get the boot. Now, I just hope one of the ladies wins immunity next challenge and they get rid of either Clay or Brian.
Sheesh. I agree Tulirose: Helen and Jan should have joined w/Ted and gone against Clay. Maybe Jan WILL win it all...maybe she deserves it!

I just don't get it!!??? How does CLay keep himself from getting booted off?? I'm sorry to see Ted go, glad he won the truck tho. Brian is such a snake, I don't think he is anywhere near the good guy Helen thinks he is. I hope one of the ladies wins.

I really, really didn't want Ted to go...

But, on the bright side, I LMAO when Brian spelled out "RAOD TRIP".

I think Clay manages to stay on because everyone wants to be against him in the final two, because he's such a jerk. The only thing though, remember Survivor 1 when Richard won. Everyone was more ticked off at Kelly because she seemed so honest and everyone knew Richard was a snake. That's what this Survivor reminds me of. Everyone knows Clay is a snake, but will be more ticked off at whoever is up against him, because they claimed to be honest and sincere.

UGH. I sure hated to see Ted go! He played a pretty clean game, IMO.

I was disappointed in (especially) Helen --- what was she thinking??!! & Jan. Nuts.

Brian counting off his: loyal soldier, disposable granny, & "friend" as his source of strength made me gag. He's too arrogant and sure of everyone. And when he was talking about his plans to use Helen & Clay against one another, I was hoping he gets a surprise along the way.

I hated to see Ted go. And I think it stinks that Helen voted him off after he took her on that reward challenge he won.

I, too, hated to see Ted go. At least he will be on the jury in case Helen makes it that far.

I SO totally agree. In regards to what was Helen thinking... she DOESN'T!!!! She does EXACTLY what Brian TELLS her to do. She has NO MIND OF HER OWN! I think that has been bothering me the most. No backbone at all!! She blew it all. She could have had made a pact, even this late in the game with Ted and Jan. But she had NO GUTS!!!

I so wonder what she is thinking tonight after seeing Brian's little finger countdown! I wonder what ALL of them are thinking of Brian now as they have been watching the weeks of his private interviews unfold. I hope they all will forever have a sour taste in their mouths whenever they think of their Survivor experience, knowing that they were played for such fools on national T.V.

I've ranted on far too long on this subject. It is no longer worth my time. (Can you tell I am really P.O.'d?)

I don't like any of those people, I don't know that any of them are worthy of winning the $1M. Helen really disappointed me tonight. Clay is a jerk and Brian is so arrogant he makes me sick. Wrinkly old Jan is the only one who flies under the radar but if she doesn't win immunity next week, I think she is next.

I dislike Helen now more than ever.
I can't believe that Clay is still in this game!!
I'm now rooting for Jan, she's the only one I can stomach.

I think Brian was more upset at losing the reward challenge than he let on. You could tell he was upset when he said Ted didn't even thank him for the answer. I think that was only the tip of how he was feeling. Next week is going to be VERY interesting.

Forgot to add.....I really wish Ted had taken Jan with him to the reward. Helen is such a snake.

Helen had to do what she did because Jan was
already allied with Brian and Clay when she got
back. Now she and Jan have to hope that they
can vote off one of the boys and be the last two
standing. I totally understand why Helen betrayed
Ted to save herself; otherwise, she'd be next as a
target. As it is, Brian and Clay will target Jan and
then Helen because Brian thinks Helen "owes" him.
Watch for a tie breaker in the next vote that will
determine if the final two is Brian/Clay or Jan/Helen.
I wanted Ted to win but I could see that Brian and
Clay had Jan with them.

I agree that Helen had to vote against Ted - since Jan wouldn't vote against Clay with her and Ted. Ted had the votes to go and Helen couldn't risk her vote making her a target - especially knowing that she would be going back to camp with Clay and he would make a scene.

Can you imagine what it would have been like if Ted had taken Jan to the reward? OMG, thinking about it makes me LMAO!

That had to have been the funniest thing to watch. Ted was sooo drunk. Maybe that's why Helen voted for him, she seemed very annoyed with him when they were getting their shower and massage.

I'm voting for Jan. She may be a lush, but she's a good lady!

I guess I am unique in that I really enjoyed this episode. I think both Helen and Brian are playing brilliantly. From my perspective, the only reason Clay and Jan are still around are because of their alliances with Brian and Helen, repspectively. IMO, this has been one of the best Survivor seasons in regards to real strategy. Neither Helen nor Brian are at all what they appear to be to the rest of the crew. They are playing wonderfully. I may not like them as people, but as players I think they are both fantastic, and I hope they are the final two. I'd be pleased if either of them won. Although certainly our perceptions of each player is skewed by the editing of the program, it seems to me that neither Jan nor Clay are really keeping a 'big picture' perspective on the game. Interesting.

In terms of my emotional attachment to any of the players, this has been the worst season so far. I have little or no empathy for any of them. However, as I stated above, strategically speaking--this is a great season. Can't wait to see how it plays out.

You are right. Next week will be very interesting. I wonder if it will all play out the way Helen or Brian want it to. The previews showed Jan screaming hallelujah! I think she wins her first immunity challenge.

I missed last week's show because of my NYC trip. Thanks for some really good posts to keep me up to date. (BTW, did anyone see my appearance with Janice Huff?).

Last night's episode was good for a lot of comic relief --- starting with Ted and his reward challenge! Soooo funny that Ted was drunk! Helen showed a lot of restraint in not griping at him for being obnoxious... it was almost admirable that she said, "It is his reward."
And I was rolling when Brian misspelled Road Trip. And he got all snitty when Ted won that challenge! Boo hoo whiney boy, it's not like you couldn't get that kind of vehicle for yourself!
So, none of my favorites are left on the island... I'm just sitting back and waiting to see what happens... my guess is that Helen will win. Brian is such a smarmy wormy pooh-pooh - I would be so ticked if I were one of the remaining Survivors watching the show!
