Survivor Thailand! (Possible Spoilers)

I got the impression from the looks being passed from Brian to his wife, that he had let her know that he didn't want her to win. Then later, on the beach, he said something to the effect of "Don't worry, I have a plan". I thought that maybe he didn't want to draw any more attention to himself after the video that made some people jealous of him.

YangYang,

I thought the same thing about Brian and his wife. I doubt Clay will be the next to go because that's what they want us to believe. I have a feeling it might be Helen. Especially if she tries to get Clay out. Brian is playing everyone and now he needs to decide who he REALLY wants to make an alliance with.

I've got $10 riding on Clay winning, so all of you nay-sayers... be quiet. lol ;)

Last time around, I picked Sean out of the office pool and I was actually rooting against him. He sealed the deal when he talked himself out at one of the last TC's. I just have a feeling that Clay will do the same thing. He really IS a snake... or at least that's what the producer wants us to believe.

That challenge sure was DISGUSTING!! I would have bailed on the cockroach, just like Brian's wife did. It seemed cruel to me.

I found Jeff's parting words really intriguing (sp?). He said something like "the game is about to get a lot more complicated" and I wondered if he meant more complicated than USUAL??? Are they going to throw some sort of curve????

Well, again this show proves that Nice Guys finish last and the nicest guy just got finished off last night! :(

I was SO thinking that there would be a tie at TC last night; 3 for Clay and 3 for Jake. I should have known as soon as they were making Clay look like he would be next to go, that he really wouldn't be!

Jake and his wife have something very special. Caught them this a.m. on The Early Show. Both were on because they wanted to interview her about eating all that stuff. She said she was determined to spend the night with Jake and was gonna eat whatever they put in front of her. It was brought up how he said to her that she didn't have to (not seen last night) but she was determined.

Very touching show. Very emotional show. It would have been 100% better show, however, if they voted Clay off. The only other reason I can think of, in addition to one already mentioned, is that they don't want a jury member, who is originally Ghuay Ghan, mad at them. But that's gonna start happening next week anyway. My reasoning is that when it gets down to the final two, the jury will be equally split between the old Chuay Jai tribe and the Ghuay Ghan tribe. I guess they (mostly Brian cause I think he is the one that made the decision not to vote for Clay) wants all the allies he can possible have and if a Chuay Ghan teammate is mad at him for voting him out prior to voting out a Chuay Jai member, then that can spell doom for him. Does any of this make sense?

I was sorry to see Jake go last night, but not surprised. IMHO, Helen, Ted and Jan just lost the game last night. They all think Brian is taking them to the final 2 but I think he's gonna take Clay. He most likely thinks he can win against Clay as opposed to anyone else. There will be 4 Sookies and 3 Chuy's on the jury and I think Brian feels they'll vote for him instead of the abrasive Clay.

Mark Burnett was criticized last season with the editing. We never saw much of Vecepia's "game" and she kinda won out of the blue. I think he is editing this season more like first when Richard Hatch won. He, Rich, was seen in the first show saying they will write me the million dollar check. And this season we've seen Brian talking about his kingdom and playing everybody as his pick for final 2. So far everybody likes him and they will probably feel as he's "played" the best game in the end.

I'm hopeful that Ted or Helen actually win but I don't think they are playing their own game but playing for what Brian wants. Only 2 weeks till we find out for sure!!

In defense of Helen yelling at her husband -- When I was a child my family vacationed in Mexico and I got so sick my parents were afraid that they were going to have to put me in a hospital there for rehydration. The only thing that got me to keep things down was my father (a pediatrician) absolutely screaming "Don't you dare!" at me every time I was about to lose it. It was tough love and it worked. I had to laugh when I saw Helen, because it really brought back memories! I'm guessing something in her military training caused her to adopt the "have no sympathy" attitude. It worked!

Penny was the biggest back stabber on any survivor show.
These remaining members now will make this interesting. Jake is good because he knows it is just a game.

Clay wants the money. But he isn't going to get it. That is why he is going to be one of the last three I bet.

I want to see Helen (Hey my dh and I don't yell but I would if it was that important) or Jan win. Brian is a fine player but noone is going to take him into the final except they resent how well off he is.

I LOVE THIS SHOW!

Wow, I finally got to see the latest episode and all I can say is YUCK!! I told DH that I would have said, honey I love you, but I just can't, I don'e even think I could get past the ants.

I agree, Helen was barking out orders, I felt sorry for her DH, if I were him I think I would have been embarassed by her actions.

I too thought Clay was going, especially after what Brian said at TC. I am sorry to see Jake go because I have liked him from the beginning. I am wondering how it all will pan out, since Brian is so strong, I wonder if they are going to get rid of the competition. I sure hope Clay is next to go, he is the type of person I really don't like. And Jan, she has just been flying under the radar, I am really surprised she made it this far.

Does anyone know how many more weeks the show is on? Since they are on day 33, they only have 6 days left, so I am thinking maybe only two more weeks.

:bounce::wave::bounce:

I believe the last show is on December 19th.
I didn't "feel sorry" for Helen's husband- I think she just wanted to be with him so bad her military mind took over! I think he knows how she really feels.

Very good points. I was surprised to see Helen so pro-Brian. He really has them right where he wants them--they will vote for him thinking he played the game with the most integrity.

No wonder they never did the food challenge! That's something that's been nagging me the whole time, wondering what was up with that, wondering if for some reason they had other plans for it.

I was teasing my kids, asking them if they'd eat that stuff to spend a day with me there--they were bravely trying to say they would, but then I had to admit if that was me I'd say, "See you in a week, honey." There's no way I would eat those things. They asked me if Daddy would do that for me and I said, "Of course he would." :D

I was hoping it would be Clay, too. But I kept thinking through the voting that it wouldn't be because they were trying so hard to make us think it would be. I liked Jake.

TONIGHT ON SURVIVOR THAILAND:

Feeling rebuffed by a former ally, one Survivor hatches a plan and enlists the support of unlikely new allies.

Having won a Reward Challenge, a tribe member becomes overly excited, shouting and rolling on the ground, while others stew bitterly in their loss.

One Survivor overindulges in wine and shows a new side of their personality.

------
Since Jake is gone, I think I have lost some enthusiam for the show........ but not enough to keep me from watching.

Once again, I agree with you Tuli... I was rooting for Jake... but now that it is almost over, I gotta keep watching...

My guess for the one to drink too much is Jan. Did you see her the last time? How embarassing!
I hope Clay goes tonight, he is annoying. :)

But the preview notice says a Survivor shows a NEW side to their personality. We already saw Jan and Brian as drunks. I'm SO hoping it is Clay and he does something really, really stupid. And I am SO hoping he gets voted out tonight.

Thanks for the teaser, Tulirose! :D

It would be funny if it turns out to be Clay overdoing the drinking.

Tonight's show should be pretty good with only the one tribe paring down....

I'm with you Tulirose - I'm hoping Clay goes tonight. If he wins immunity, then it'll probably be Jan. At this point, I'm hoping either Helen or Ted wins. But I think the other posters are right - Brian will win it all for "playing" the game so well.

I really don't think Clay is going anywhere. My gut feeling is that Brian wants to bring Clay along with him to the end knowing that people would vote for him more than Clay. I think that's why he talked Helen out of voting for Clay last week. I don't think Brian is as loyal as everyone thinks he is. He would stab Ted, Jan or Helen in the back in a minute. Clay thinks he's playing a good game, but he's alienated a few too many people along the way to win it all. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Well...there you have it...bye Ted.

The challenges were DUUUUULLLL.

I am SOOO PISSED!!! (Ooops! Can I say that here?)

Helen is an idiot and so is Jan (but we always knew that about Jan). They should have joined forces with Ted and gone into the final four together against Brian.

Brian wants Clay with him in the final two.

I really hate the way these people played tonight. Everyone is thinking: me, me, me and they ain't gonna get it. That snake in the grass Brian thinks he will get it all.

I now hope JAN somehow wins and I hated her from the very beginning!!!

No, on second thought, I hope somehow this entire series gets forfeited for some reason and NO ONE WINS!!!

(Boy am I a spoiled sport or what?) I just can't stand the fact that no one left, NO one, has played with any integrity.
